Mass Effect Megathread: He said "I should go." Do I sound like that?

Jaal is easily the best character in this game.
Which level did you guys [sp]defeat your first architect?[/sp]
Wanna know if i was low leveled or i just suck because damn i took a loooong time doing that shit
Jaal is easily the best character in this game.
It's kinda unfair to be honest
He's the native alien, he's going to have so many interesting things to say about anything, i can't take him out of my party ever
and then i have to decide between drack, vetra and peebee for the other spot and it hurts
cora and liam get to scrub the ship i guess
I like Liam a lot more than I expected to.
boo get out of here you human lover
only alien pals allowed is the law of every mass effect
[sp]he's not as terrible as jacob as i thought he would be, i just don't like his schtick that much
his scenes with jaal are funny though[/sp]
I don't know about you guys.. but the first time i launched the game, i stayed in the main menu and listened to the new main theme..
I love it! The slow build up to the more grand (Epic) theme, in my opinion are worth listning to on its own. I might not be the same style af the first ME game, but damn..
not really.
You just can't camp anymore.
Pick inf, soldier or vanguard and spec in health passive + whatever TWO powers or both passives and one power and then go to to town maxing out stuff with the basic packs. A couple long days in bronze will net you enough common cards to max out your basic guys to X, and from there inf and vangs are actually silver ready at level 1, provided you have a decent weapon.
Most of the ARs and pistols are pretty ok, snipes and shotguns are another story, both of the two good guns in these categories (vanquisher, isharay/scattershot, piranha) are rares or ultra rares.
I find the Avenger to be absolute garbage. The Charger does a better job that it does.
Why did they fuck up the Asari face, then use it for EVERY ASARI OTHER THAN PEEBEE
Why did they fuck up the Asari face, then use it for EVERY ASARI OTHER THAN PEEBEE
Yeah everyone has a huge potato nose and weirdly big cheeks.
On another note, the Ricochet augment is fucking worthless. I was expecting to have some fun times with it, but it turns every gun into basically a water pistol.
Also, Remove the Heart on Volden is unnecessarily infuriating. Why are there no autosaves in-between the objectives?
Why does every Asari's lip animations remind me of Pingu
Does Drack have weirdly low health or is there something wrong with my game? I put a lot of starting points into getting my squad's health and shields up but he's got half as much of both as Vetra, and Vetra gets power armour on top of that.
Immediately after meeting Jaal my game locked up on a loading screen. Relaunch the game and sit through the Jaal cutscene again and there was no loading screen at all.
What were you loading?
Did they really -really- need to use Sudoku for these puzzles

It beats memory game hacking tbh.
It beats memory game hacking tbh.
And the hacking from ME1, where all you had to do was put an arrow in the middle, or do simon says.

I combined that plasma charge augment with the ricochet augment on a shotgun expecting to make the shredder from Turok 2 and I was so disappointed when I found out what ricochet actually was.
I wish there was a way to test custom weapons before you make them like in Loadout.
sudoku is the best minigame they used so far, which doesnt mean much but its something. i still remember the fucking tower of hanoi generator puzzle, imagine that shit every monolith instead and you'll be glad for sudoku
you get the remnant skip thingies by tons too. just use them

plasma charge on a carnifex is brutal
i was two shotting the big baddies with machine guns and killing nullifiers with a single clip

Me too, on Xbox.
Well there go my plans for a Ricochet augmented Sidewinder :saddowns:

don't let logic discourage you from your dreams [sp]even if they suck[/sp]
i wanted a sniper rifle with plasma charge, so i made a black widow with it. was it worth it? absolutely not, the thing fucking sucked, had near zero range, abysmal RoF and i deconstructed it a mission later, but i've grown as a human being for doing it
Woot. Got Vould up to 100% viability
So when do the Level 3 Radiation areas of Eos clear?
So when do the Level 3 Radiation areas of Eos clear?
after a bunch of story missions
[sp]went Eos - Aya - first priority mission in Voeld (vould? would? i dont remember the freaking name of the icy planet right now) and then when i returned to Eos radiation was already gone[/sp]
Honestly it just kind of happens after a few plot triggers. I did not go to any new planets and was able to fully explore Eos
I've played through the first four hours or so of ME:A and it's not that bad. I kinda like it.
The facial animations are a bit crap occasionally but it doesn't bother me that much. Only thing I dislike is the wrinkling on my character's face when he talks, sort of makes it look like he's alternating between 20 and 40 years old.
Gameplay is good though, and I like the story so far.
I find the Avenger to be absolute garbage. The Charger does a better job that it does.
The charger X is also equal to the hurricane I and the hurricane still has a better ammo application chance, and since when has the avenger ever been anything but garbage ever.
I said assault rifles, not the avenger, because that's like saying pick Claw as your first street fighter character. No one uses the avenger except for mastery points, and they never have.
Been racking up enough money to get every character except hammersis and the salarian op to VI or better, pretty sure I've got a decent handle on weapon balance.
Hello I need to hear more Natalie Dormer voice.
Hit on her.
She appreciates human mating customs very much.
Granted, I've just landed on the planet right after the short tutorial mission, but I can safely say that Andromeda is leaving kinda the good first impression on me.
I can tell that the whole technical compartment is incredibly rough around the edges, and in several instances this becomes clear enough, but I'm digging the dialogue system (which is more complex than what I thougt and does a good job at allowing you to build your own Ryder's personality) and the story's premise is holding my interest (this far)
Anyone else suffers from random crashes to desktop without any error messages that can happen in both, SP and MP?
The more I look at faces in Andromeda the more I think everyone got botox injections.
