So is Shepard's gender brought up at all in ME:A after you select it? I watched on youtube [sp]the Memories and Alec's logs segments, but Shepard is only referred to as Commander or gender neutral terms[/sp]
I have to say, your first visit to the Nexus marks a sudden drop in the technical quality of pretty everything: graphical and engine bugs start to appear at an allarming rate; the quality of the dialogues isn't exactly stellar, even if what you are listening to is mostly information dump; the main NPCs you meet there have a wild range of VA quality, with the main one, Director Jarun Tarr, getting grating after mere seconds; some design choices are, shall we say, rightfully questionable (what the fuck is Avina wearing, anyway?); the animations really seem limited, often recycled and not entirely fluid. Another two things that piss me off, more or less, are: 1) The omni-tools looking like fucking orange bars of chocolate people touch with their fingers (and at this point I must really assume they didn't have the time or will to render animated tools like in the original trilogy and opted for ... this, instead) 2) Pray tell, what use does the save function have if I'm not allowed to use it most of the time?
So like, they can fix the Asari faces right? Like, it's not like they did anything to make the facial animation too co. Also how fucking lazy do you have to be to make all what , three Salarians use the same model

But that design choice is really something that shows Bioware was being pushed along.
Four and a half years is not pushed along, and BW made everything look the way it does by absolute choice, per their own words.
Four and a half years is not pushed along, and BW made everything look the way it does by absolute choice, per their own words.
Well whoever made that choice shouldn't have.
There's one or two other models, but still that's not enough
Whoever said you needed to be a biotic to proceed in Lost Scout was mistaken Just did the mission. Shot the glass with a pistol and it broke. But i have a plasma augment on it, maybe this counts as a power? Still, not a single point in biotics though.
oh man that single texture, sphere and handful of space effects really must take a lot of resources.
You do realize that i'm talking about the view you have on the captain quarter - which is not just a flat texture "and handful of effects - and no game before had it, so you can't compare the loading times between the galaxy maps, right? And yes, it takes enough space to require a four-five second loading every time you get to a different one, which is why the travel screen exists.

I don't mind the landing on a planet being a loading screen. What I was talking about was the animation of flying to another planet to scan it. Not one to land on.
So I was in the Nexus about mid-game, and I heard an HNS news report in the background that read along the lines of -- 'A worker has been lost in space while performing repairs on the Nexus hull. The identity of the victim has been withheld until their next of kin in the Milky Way has been notified.' I'm sorry, what? Is that an actual thing, or did the writer who slipped that in just have no clue what the in-universe situation with that was? It literally stopped me in my tracks when I heard it. My understanding was that the one-way-trip was very literal -- no communication back, not in any practical sense, and no real correspondence with the people 600 light-years away in the Milky Way. So what the hell? Was that just a major fuckup on the writer's part, or do I have this completely wrong?
I assume it's one of those "That's the joke" things. They're never going to release his name because communication isn't going to be likely for a long time. Plus they could all be dead 600. years in the future. The Reaper invasion probably didn't help that.
Say, is there a Tech or Biotic power which is extremely effective against barriers? I took Overload to be able to deal with shields, Cryo Beam to be able to deal with armors, but I couldn't find any meaningful power against barriers at a first glance
Anyone else having issues with the Apex app not connecting?
Anyone else having issues with the Apex app not connecting?
Yeah been down for me for about 2 hours now
I think the announcement trailer for ME:A featured a femshep voice over.
Actually it was the N7 Day 2015 trailer that featured Femshep's voice. [editline]26th March 2017[/editline] I'm pretty sure Shepard does get mentioned at one point, although I have not found out when. I know that other characters such as [sp]Saren[/sp] get mentioned.
It was N7 Day 2015 [editline]26th March 2017[/editline] Dang, late.
The fact that I can't romance Lexi is a crime against humanity bioware.
any character voiced by natalie should be romance-able. even if she voiced a hanar.
