What is with the goddamn range on the Fiend's instakill?
I've just come to the horrific realization of how terrible you are to shoot anyone in the series who doesn't have armour or shields. The way the weapons work in this series means you'd be basically vaporizing massive chunks of their bodies

[sp]Why isn't the Krogan colony named Twochanka?[/sp]
[sp]Why isn't the Krogan colony named Twochanka?[/sp]
Fuck you, that was glorious. Wish I'd thought of that. :v:
Anyone playing multiplayer on pc? Add me on Origin. Hekatonkhire.
goddamn i have like 50 sidequests active in [sp]kadara[/sp] right now the whole fucking map is covered with quest markers
At least you won't have to go far to get one done.
goddamn i have like 50 sidequests active in [sp]kadara[/sp] right now the whole fucking map is covered with quest markers
I thought Voeld had a crazy amount of quests popping up, but [sp]Kadara[/sp] is like a sidequest Hydra, I finish one and two more crop up out of nowhere. At least they're mostly enjoyable and interesting so far.
Wait. The Avenger variant that is the poster-child for Andromeda weaponry isn't available for the player at all? What?
It's an event weapon. [editline]30th March 2017[/editline]
What is with the goddamn range on the Fiend's instakill?
The length of his arm, which considering how he moves is about half again farther than you think it is, and yes dave, he will grab you out of the air.

Is the Asari Infiltrator's cloak buggy as all hell?
Just started a replay of ME1, with a Shepard named Big-Boi. For a game released back in 2008 it still manages to look nice. Like when you take the first walk to see Anderson, there's nice comfy lighting, a bit of background convos/exposition with the crew you'll be with, and just a good amount of good (for the time) face/walk animations It starts out just a bit organically compared to the andromeda clips I've seen. [editline]30th March 2017[/editline] At least until you get to eden prime. Holy fuck Shepard goes so SLOW in the first few moments. I hate the movement speed key.
So if you want the trophy/achievement for reaching level 20 with a strike team, don't accept gold rewards on anyone over level 17 through the mobile app. I did it and it levelled me straight to 20 and I didn't get the trophy when I loaded the game. So now I have to wait for one of my other teams to get to 20.

You're wading slowly into the world of Mass Effect in the first, and in Andromeda you're put into a story that takes place in a familiar setting. However, as someone who has played all 4 ME games so far, I think that Andromeda has the absolute best opening mission in the series.
linked in case people consider this a spoiler: http://i.imgur.com/5TQYU6s.jpg It looks every bit as retarded as I'd hoped for. :v:
Should I go with regeneration or martial arts for my krogan vanguard's blood rage?
Should I go with regeneration or martial arts for my krogan vanguard's blood rage?
Regeneration.
Oh my God. My game crashed while I was disabling an objective, I had gold kills and melee kills. Over 15k points, probably another level for my kroganguard
So on the Nexus by the armor shop, there's a suit of armor on display that looks like a up-armored version of the Hyperguardian set. Is that actually attainable in game? Because the Hyperguardian set doesn't look like it changes in appearance at all from I to X.
Peebee's introduction scene really seems like it was pulled straight out of the development team's asses. For fuck's sake, now I understand why people are complaining this game to a Pingu episode. Also, at the very least Dragon Age: Inquisition had the decency to limit its boring, cryptic puzzles to side stuff, not putting them in the way of your main story progress
Second thing I've noticed on replaying ME1: I do not miss the clunky weapon/ability system that me1 had. What I do miss is the ability to load in different types of ammo on the fly. Like [sp]I got to the fist fight, and ofc I let wrex blast his ass because FUCK HIM[/sp] and I was able to really just mulch the two guard waves with rad bullets from my shotgun. Shout out to wrex having biotic abilities for some reason too. Also, I miss the elcor. I love their speaking patterns [sp]and the fact you help one avoid starting a political scandal is pretty cool[/sp] I would have liked them being in the series more as a whole. Them and the hanar should have been more involved in the MEA story. [sp]"Confused: why couldn't we send down some drones to the golden planet"[/sp]
Also, at the very least Dragon Age: Inquisition had the decency to limit its boring, cryptic puzzles to side stuff, not putting them in the way of your main story progress
You're like 50 minutes into the main plot? The cryptic puzzles only block off two or three sections of the main story. Most of the [sp]Vault puzzles[/sp] are completely optional.

You're "forced" to solve a single 4x4 space sudoku puzzle in the entire game. The horror.
"forced" to solve a single 4x4 space sudoku puzzle in the entire game. The horror.
Not even, I accidentally skipped the first one during the EA Access trial :v:
oh, that's right: if you fail three times iirc it just solves itself after the remnant fights
oh, that's right: if you fail three times iirc it just solves itself after the remnant fights
My biggest issue with them is that you always have to find those glyphs first. And its always like the same pool of 7 glyphs. So I have to keep finding the same thing repeatedly to activate the consoles. I mean for fucks sake Sam keep those thing around don't delete them the second I use a console.
that's what you get for wasting all the money on your pimping room and a pet pyjak instead of SSD space
that's what you get for wasting all the money on your pimping room and a pet pyjak instead of SSD space
Listen dude, it was worth it. Walking around and finding glyphs takes minutes, the satisfaction of having a purple monkey ant-eater thing in my room lasts forever.
