HNS: " A worker was lost in Space today. The victims name has been withheld until the next of Kin is notified in the Milky Way" Am I missing something? They can communicate with the milky way? Isn't civilization pretty much wiped out/drastically different/no one knows???
They apparently dropped comm buoys along the way to andromeda to be able to set up comms. Y bet is the reapers found a link in the chain going out of the milky way and blew it up (or any other myriad of things to go wrong after they left) Though wouldn't quantum entanglement comms work with only two transmitters/receivers regardless of distance?

I've heard that line brought up a lot, and frankly I still can't make heads or tails of it. I almost wonder if it was meant to be a joke?
i thought it was a joke like "this shit will only happen when people in milky way get notified, which means never. drop it"
Lmao yeah of course it's a joke how is that not obvious. Most of the game is super quippy and tongue-in-cheek anyway it's just a little joke for a loading screen lol
The [sp]Asteroid conservatory[/sp] is some tedious bullshit Like yeah sure just roam through the same three identical corridors to use the four switches that require intermediary door shenanigans to even access

My bad for not being on your level m8. [editline]31st March 2017[/editline]
They apparently dropped comm buoys along the way to andromeda to be able to set up comms. Just finished the game, it was great, here are some spoiler-less screenshots (maxed out, 2560*1440) [t]http://i.imgur.com/ccCbJ7L.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/2Vk1M9I.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/7ttPzZD.jpg[/t]
That Turian screenshot is fucking sick.
guy complained about [sp]lack of liara[/sp] shadow broker is like [sp]an overdose of liara[/sp] spoiling just in case he knows nothing about the DLC i keep hearing about instakills but never happened to me good thing i'm a sniper then [sp]you guys talking bout that energy orb attack from ascendants? never let those things touch me[/sp]
The fiend can grab you and pound your face into the ground/ rip and tear you, and the ascendant picks you up and crushes you with an energy orb attack, it's different from his ranged energy attack. They only happen at basically melee range and only with the kett it seems. The destroyer has a OHK too I think but you get this big red warning when it's about to do it, and the Hydra can grab you and slap you around but it's not a OHK
I maintain that this game would be stronger if the [sp]Ark recovery[/sp] quests were ALL main story, instead of the secondary missions. I feel like I put off [sp]Cora's loyalty mission[/sp] for too long. The scene where the Kett dude [sp]has his ship barrage the Asari Ark was genuinely cool as fuck.[/sp] I like this video game, it's good.

The arcs are the crux of the Nexus, which is the crux of the plot of Andromeda. You need the nexus powered up, and you need as many colonists as you can get. The whole "You're getting us our first foothold here" thing feels dramatically underplayed and skipped over way too fast. The arcs should have been a big part of that, the arcs could have been important lengthy quests that added to the tension, and choices in the narrative in more meaningful ways. The way it was handled is just sad though. The Turian arc is just basically put away and said "Forget about it". The Asari ark, while having a pretty good quest, is again just a side mission which it felt like it should have been more. The Salarian ark feels like the only time it's actually incorporated into the importance of the Nexus after the Human arc shows up. Overall I'm not super let down by this game in many ways, but one of the major things about this game that does bug me is the main quest. It's not good. It's not Mass Effect. The game itself has tons of great very "Mass Effect" feeling type things, it plays well more or less, and at this point in the game for me much of the animation woes have either stopped happening, or stopped being as bad, but the glaring painfully underdone element of the game is it's main quest. It feels like way too many things were paired off to be their own little mini quests, and okay that's fine. It just feels like there should have been more things you can "fail" at, more things that can go wrong, more setbacks, but Ryder/SAM/The Nexus all don't seem to have their stakes set as high as they should be.
Despite having already played the original Mass Effect games and knowing that 3 has the Reapers, [sp]It was still pretty eerie to hear about them and also actually hearing the Reaper on Menae.[/sp]
Just finished replaying the first Mass Effect. I honestly think they deliberately made the Mako handle like ass in the last section it was in. There is no way this thing slid around, flew into the air, and slammed into vines more than this final section than in ANY of the other sections. Even Bring Down the Sky didn't handle this bad. I managed to [sp]talk Saren down into shooting himself (with Renegade), and protected the council with the human fleet. I made Udina the councilor, but thats because I kinda see anderson more as a Ambassador than a council guy. Also RIP Ashely you died as you lived; underleveled and equiped. Wrex lived though so I'm happy.[/sp] All in all I still had fun with the original mass effect. It had aged a bit since I lasted played it, but overall I still loved the setting, the characters, and the weapon systems. Now to replay through ME2!
I absolutely love when you go through the Conduit and drop the Mako on a bunch of Geth troops.
I miss the Geth
Going new game plus and was a bit disappointed that I was stuck unable to pick things up because my inventory filled up from the ng+ gear they give you and I can't access it on the tutorial planet.
I miss the Geth
I miss geth armatures. Actually, I miss all non-humanoid geth, got shafted in 3.
I absolutely love when you go through the Conduit and drop the Mako on a bunch of Geth troops.
Road killing with the Mako and Nomad are satisfying as fuck. Weirdly you can drop in on ANY NPC with the Mako and get a road kill, but you need to hit them with the tires of the nomad. One will literally let you just run over Geth Jugs and Arms, just because. The other hilariously makes bodies get thrown out with MAXIMUM SPEED [sp]Might be one of the few people to romance Suvi, just to see how it is. Surprisingly it's less cringey that that video lead you to believe. Just finished Hunting the Archon and it wasn't too cringey at all. [/sp]
Suvi shot me down the first time and no option ever came back
so is multiplayer getting progressively jank as fuck for anyone else? Because getting booted back to the start menu 9 times out of 10 when hitting quick match or sitting through the reload animation 4 times in a row for the game to register the gun is full is rapidly trying my patience.

Is this bug common? Also really looks worse compared to the leaked footage of this from last year
Are you playing a male or female? Cause shes lesbian.
That would explain a lot
That would explain a lot
Male Options: Cora, Gil, Avela Female Options: Liam, Jall, Suvi Both: Peebee, Vetra, Reyes Vidal & Keri.
Is this bug common?
Most of the funny meme bugs from this game are incredibly uncommon. [editline]1st April 2017[/editline]
oc
underrated post
So how have you guys built your Ryder? I'm playing a Vanguard/Sentinel hybrid, with heavy investments in Barrier, Combat Fitness, and Team Support for maximum stonewalling.
