As much as I'm enjoying this game, the animations, general bugginess and fucking load times make it feel like a goddamn Bethesda job.
It's nowhere near that bad, honestly. Fallout 4's faces were just as bad as Andromeda, animation wise, and they glitched the fuck out way more. The fact that Bethesda gets away with it every single time, but BioWare gets memed is really frustrating.
I think he means the appearance of the armor stops at V, then it looks the same all the way through X
But don't all the basic armours look the same too? I though it was just the transition from basic armour o advanced armour that added bits.

Not the whole thing, but at times.
i really don't think bethesda "gets away with it", people do call out their games for the buggy messes they are everytime the only difference i see in this case is the critic praising bethesda games but jumping on the hate train for andromeda
unfortunately it's mostly texmod iirc. which is one of most infuriating programs I've ever used. plus it hasn't been updated in years.
To my surprise (And delight), Texmod is basically obsolete for Mass Effect. This one was an actual installer so there's literally no impact on load time anymore. Install once, disable automatic updates, and you're done. Apparently ME2 and 3 have their own installers, and some mad scientists even got controller support working on PC. Talented people out there.
Also the way [sp]your dad dies at the start[/sp] is still absurd [sp]Just keep swapping the helmet until the shuttle arrives like what divers do[/sp]
Not to mention [sp]you patch up your visor right at the start of the mission with your omni-tool. Like I get that the implication is that you can fix a crack, but not a whole visor. But considering your omni-tool can create a fully functioning, hovering, VI-controlled turret in a split second, I find that really hard to believe.[/sp]
Also the way [sp]your dad dies at the start[/sp] is still absurd [sp]Just keep swapping the helmet until the shuttle arrives like what divers do[/sp]
Impression I got was [sp]Not just that the atmosphere wasn't breathable, but what was there actively toxic. In which case swapping back and forth would be a good way for both of them to die. Fairly sure someone in the Cryo Med Bay talks about scarring in lungs as a result of exposure[/sp], but that was 60 gameplay hours ago.
[sp]Are you sure that was made with omni-gel and not a pre-existing emergency helmet?[/sp]
[sp]Always assumed the entire visor is omnigel. And since your omnitool can basically seamlessly make the material, I'm inclined to believe I was right. Like come on that shit can make blades, fully functional drones and armor plating, but it can't make a basic airtight visor ?[/sp]

And until Andromeda none of the drones you could have were made by the omni-tool. Hell even the assault turret in Andromeda looks like a pre-made thing you throw out, so the description just muddies things for no reason.[/sp]
I honestly can't believe how bad Morda's voice is.
She sounds like a transsexual, it's really annoying to listen to her.
Morda sounds like a really sassy homosexual black man
I wouldn't go that far, but yeah, she sucks
[sp]from me2 onwards basically everything tech based is magic omnitool powers, not sure why you'd think that's new to andromeda? me2 literally added a combat drone you spawn out of your omnitool[/sp]
[sp]Sorry, for some reason I thought the omni-blade codex entry had something about the omni-tool not being able to make things with complex parts. I must be mixing it up with something else.[/sp]

Drones are a special case though; You're generally shown throwing a grenade-like object that I assume houses the VI and has its own hard light projectors. Regarding the "You see it done in mass effect 2!" Well, yes, but on much more advanced technology. Despite how advanced SAM is, the omnitools are considerably less advanced in Andromeda than in the original series. ALSO I expect that it's a special system built directly into Jokers helmet, rather than a visor built by his omnitool.[/sp]
i really don't think bethesda "gets away with it", people do call out their games for the buggy messes they are everytime the only difference i see in this case is the critic praising bethesda games but jumping on the hate train for andromeda
To be fair, none of Bethesda's bugs take me out of the game. At their worst, they're an inconvenience, but for the most part they're funny. The bug that occured for me during Cora's conversation where it was struggling to load between the lines was without a doubt the second most frustrating thing I've experienced in a game. The worst being Mafia III crashing consistently after an hour of play.
I just broke the game again. I was in a conversation and a bunch of creepers kept hitting me, eventually killing me. Except I didn't get a game over. I was still able to fire my gun.
Morda's voice is so fucking obnoxious, PLEASE tell me I have the option to kill her, or at least get rid of her.
the citadel dlc is the best thing that happened to the mass effect series and my life in general
Also the way [sp]your dad dies at the start[/sp] is still absurd [sp]Just keep swapping the helmet until the shuttle arrives like what divers do[/sp]
I thought the same goddamn thing
the citadel dlc is the best thing that happened to the mass effect series and my life in general
I started it again, I'm sad that I didn't get to Samara before I started, but otherwise I have as many companions as possible. The dialogue is some of the funniest shit I've heard in the franchise.
[sp]Architects[/sp] are just annoying. They're not hard, but scrambling around waiting for it to open up makes them more tedious than difficult. When it does happen to open, I usually find myself spending more time dodging than being able to shoot at it. Also, on the Firefighters quest: [sp]Wouldn't the Project Overlord incident been after the Arks left?[/sp]
Also, on the Firefighters quest: [sp]Wouldn't the Project Overlord incident been after the Arks left?[/sp]
I was under the impression [sp]the Arks left following Arrival[/sp]
Almost everything related to the Krogan in this is so fucking weird. Their voices are super... wrong, a lot of them have weird heads... their leader is fucking crazy.
I knew her accent was strong but damn [t]http://i.imgur.com/itRBdnc.jpg[/t]
the citadel dlc is the best thing that happened to the mass effect series and my life in general
Citadel is the true canon ending to ME3, I've forgotten that anything else exists

Maybe I'm starting to have allucinations, but I can swear Peebee is the only Asari in the game with an unique face: all the others are just eerie similar, the exact same face over and over again, on all their models. Also, I don't know if this is just a Peebee thing, but after flirting with her once I was able to select a "Flirting" option in the dialogue wheel. Said option is basically about Ryder plainly asking Peebee how he should flirt with her. I don't even have a girlfriend as of now but even I am better than that.
