[sp]Except the salarian pathfinder isn't that big a deal. Salarians don't perceive individual loss the same way humans do. They think faster than any other species in the galaxy, cope with loss and accept death just as quickly. By the time you get to make the decision, Raeka has already accepted her fate and has done everything she had to do.

Like for fucks sake they believe in reincarnation, why would they even care about like a few of them dying ? The Krogans on the other hand are much more tightly knit as a community, when they can manage to have one. Their individual recklessness does not mean they do not care about loss, whereas Salarians have been shown time and time again to deal with loss just fine.
