Mass Effect Megathread: He said "I should go." Do I sound like that?

Anyone had the chance to play the Geth Juggernaut in MP? What's it like and what are some things to keep in mind while playing it?

Mordins death..

Incorrect.

Also, for all the ending's faults, the soundtrack was not one of them.

Mordin... Now that guy was awesome.
Eh, honestly I really didn't like the majority of the 'sad' pieces as they have nothing to do with the theme of the rest of the music, let alone shared instruments. They feel like sad music for sad music's sake.

Ah, very true.
Second most then.
You ever tank before? Nah. You haven't. At least you haven't tanked until you tank as a Geth Juggernaut. You haven't felt the aggro till you've aggro'd as a Geth Juggernaut. Your job is to lumber your fine ass in there, draw all the fire you could possibly want and then make it very clear that you don't give a single fuck.
Only pick 4 skills and max them out. Personally I would lose the shield; you'll lose a bit of your damage potential but you can make up for that with mods. Deploy your drone anytime one of your buds even takes a scratch- max it out for health and shield regen strength and frequency. Pick all defensive attributes on your health and max your weapon proficiency as high as it will go, by maxing your defense you'll automatically lose 20% of your global DPS but you'll make up for it health and shields for literal days.
Pick a high damage short range weapon and a high damage long range weapon, remember to boost your melee with an omni-bayonette. if you're completely occluded or surrounded, use your light melee, otherwise it's heavy melee all the time, all day erry day.
So, got back into playing ME3 multiplayer. Remembered I had 3 characters with negative skill points, two of which (Collector, Juggernaut) are fully maxed out in each skill. It's fun, though those aren't my favorite classes (favorite being Krogan Warlord Sentrinel and Paladin)
On a side note, any silly/fun things I can try by just fucking around?
Speaking of cutscenes, I didn't know half of these epilogues were possible.

I couldn't mute my volume fast enough and now I'm sad because that fucking song
[editline]6th December 2013[/editline]
I mean seriously the trilogy's cinematics were lackluster and a lot of other things were iffy, but damn if they didn't have a brilliant musical director
Eh, it was pretty generic sad music. It didn't fit with the orchestral style of ME1, the synth style of ME2, or the mixed style of 3. It existed only to say "This is a sad moment, be sad now."
I like how publicized it was that Clint Mansell was composing and he ended up composing only two songs or so.
Still, I did enjoy the soundtrack, for what it's worth.

I enjoyed Mansell's two tracks, but with the stuff Sam Hulick ended up making for it I can't help but feel like Jack Wall was holding him back. He really stepped up when Jack left, at the very least.
I wish they still printed the N7 hoodies in gray. Mine is getting threadbare and I really want one with the embroidered N7 and stripe, but I really dislike the black.

Mass Effect 2 had terrible combat music, I'm glad Jack Wall left and Hulick came back.
I got that sense of scale on the three homeworld missions. I honestly loved the opening mission on Earth, and Palaven and Thessia both felt like wars - it's just that Shepard isn't really ever a frontline grunt even when it feels like he should be. At least, that's the impression I got.
Yes, I certainly got a sense of scale as I looked from above upon vancouver, seeing the tiny 2-dimensional Jacks running.

The most noticeable example of that kind of thing is in ME3 at the entrance of the club where Aria is, you can look down and see a big crowd of people without textures, and it's super obvious.

I never noticed that... but now I will.
Or this:

I literally found the texture for that and it was too good to pass up

Well, bits and pieces are good but as a whole the soundtrack isn't as good as Mass Effect 1 or 3.
ogod where is this
Right after the beam rush when Shepard wakes up.
And also during the part where he lands back on the Citadel
AKA the sequence with the worst writing I've ever seen in a video game.
VGX was crap and no news about ME4. Guess the big reveal will be at 2014 E3.
Seeing those videos has reminded me of the utter shit that were the in game cinematics.
I mean, seriously, they were so painfully bad.
[editline]2nd December 2013[/editline]
especially after things like this:
[editline]2nd December 2013[/editline]
It also never really felt like a war. There was no scale in the missions, I don't think. I mean, sure, you're not really on the front line ever (except when you are), but still. I was playing the Palaven mission on ME3 the other day, and I remember coming across the team that tried fixing the radio tower before you did and they're all "ohhh shit we got overrun, GLHF commander" and there's like ten husks.
Rewatching the trailers for these games makes me so sad for what could have been. When the launch trailers dropped for ME3 I don't think I'd ever nerdgasm'd harder in my life.
halp. I just finished playing ME1 and 2 as the default femshep, and now she looks completely different in ME3, does anyone have a code for a lookalike? I've looked for one on google, but I didn't find one that looked like her. v:v:v

plus this one was great

with the combat music starting at 2:10
You can't leave out this:

It's more orchestral than the rest of the soundtrack, but it fits wonderfully with the action climax of the game.

ME1/2 Femshep is one of the custom presets now from what I've been told.

A lot of people on tumblr were disappointed too, but I have no idea where people got the idea of an ME4 reveal from. It's still in pre-production
