We wont hear anything about ME4 until Dragon Age 3 is out.

There's no way we are hearing anything about it anytime soon. They're still doing concept art for it, and after the whole ending fiasco, I'm sure they had to go back to the drawing board with their plans and re-evaluate everything.
I wouldn't bet on an ME4 announcement till at the very earliest GamesCom
halp. I just finished playing ME1 and 2 as the default femshep, and now she looks completely different in ME3, does anyone have a code for a lookalike? I've looked for one on google, but I didn't find one that looked like her. v:v:v
She suppose to be like that in ME3 as default.
I literally found the texture for that and it was too good to pass up

The worst part about this is that they probably constructed a scene of dead people stacked up like that using actual 3d models, then took an overhead screenshot and then mapped it onto a hill with bump maps. It's just disappointing.

Default 2 is old femshep.

I'll be a pessimist and say that we won't hear all that much until 2015.
Man, multiplayer is completely dead. Can search for a game for an hour and find nothing, and watch no one enter the lobby if I make one. Soloing multiplayer seems counter to its purpose, too.
That's the broken server and matchmaking.
There's still about 15K people playing.
So this has been a thing for a while, but now there's also this.
Never read that, or the Blue Rose for that matter. Not all that bad.

And while I'm not big on fan fiction, that idea about Samara wiping that village of Morinth's followers sound kind of cool (mostly because he referenced The Dark Tower, but still, kinda cool).
I just don't like how fan fiction portrays femshep as some gussy mid-20's girl who doesn't have a clue what's going on.
A lot of them do. If you look hard enough you can find better ones, it's just difficult to sift through the garbage
I wish they would've made Miranda a bogan, like in this image.

It would be hilarious to see her do things like yell "FUCK OFF WE'RE FULL!" while fighting Kai Leng, and make the Normandy SR-2's shutter a customized Holden she owns.

I was never in to fanfiction of any kind until ME3's ending happened. That shit literallyd ragged me screaming and crying in to the world of fanfiction.
In the last two years, the only writer I've actually enjoyed through and through has been tarysande and by extension w0rdinista.
I was introduced to fanfiction by a fic she wote titled Life Signs and how it unfolded really shocked me. I was pretty ignorant of fanfiction up until that point and honestly believed it was all sunshine and bubbles. I was actually a little scared after I read the thing in one sitting and started on some other works scattered around. Her recent works have really shown Shepard in a light I really appreciate, which is pretty much as far from bumbling clueless virgins as you can get.
The whole Garrus/Shepard thing is also a plus, but even ignoring that, the general writing is amazing, and the relationships are all tied in so fucking neatly it makes me excited whenever I receive a email telling me that she has uploaded something new.
pretty good 10/10
I keep on playing through the series and stop playing about half way through 3. I just love 1 and 2 so much, but 3 is just ehhh. I'm yet to complete it.
Series play-through attempt 4, but this time I got a texture pack on me1.
Personally, the last time I did a series run followed a rather simple idea.
Play 1 and 2 all the way through, and 3 until I finished Citadel. I stopped playing before the Cerberus base and then said 'Fuck you, your ending isn't mine, I'm doing my own.'
And then I did my own.
Every time I travel to a new system in ME3 I have to alt-tab out or mute my headphones because that sound is SOFUCKINGLOUD.
It's so goddamn annoying after a while.
What is the coolest Mass Effect thing I can buy for under 100 dollars? Like a ring or a replica or model or anything really. I've been looking at Shapeways 3D printed stuff, Etsy, ThinkGeek and Ebay, but there's nothing that sticks out as mind boggling amazing.

As a gift for a Mass Effect fan. She loves replicas, rings, pennants - that kind of thing.
There's not a lot out there that's amazing for under $100. If you check the Bioware Store you might find something for her.
You guys seen this?

I always thought Tali and Liara would make for good kid's names, although Tali'Zorah is taking a bit too far.

If I'm not mistaken, Tali is actually a real name. But yeah, if you're going to add the 'Zorah' part at least have it be the middle name.

I cringed.
Had the urge to play ME3 multiplayer the other day, went ahead and reinstalled it, downloaded all the updates and MP dlc. Played two games then got bored and uninstalled it. Regret resetting my vanguard, was so much fun to play to just warp around one hitting everything.

Plus, I'm pretty sure Zora is a legitimate name as well.
Technically, what they're doing isn't all that odd, but yes, Zorah should be the middle name.
Suddenly I feel the need of replaying the whole series. But then I remember how annoying the gameplay of the first one is. It's incredible how back in the day it was like the best thing ever for me.

I know. I actually enjoyed Pinnacle Station back when it came out.
Playing through it now would be hell.
Yeah, I'm replaying the trilogy right now, but after 5 hours of the first game I just decided to skip it
