the Multiplayer human soldier looked awesome, why couldn't that have been the standard alliance armor
everyone looks like they're part of a Sea World live show in those slightly reinforced wet suits

You know, I do so much stupid ass Mass Effect fan-art and creations that fuck it.
I'll make a heavy armored variant of the Alliance Marines that look similar to the MP soldiers, just give me awhile to do it (Need to extract everything and do it)
I found this in my inbox today

Are the bioware forums still a haven for people who believe bioware can do no wrong?
Well, you see. Bioware forums users are a bit like husks
they're indoctrinated cannon fodder that snarl and sprint towards you in anger
The Bioware forums are a strange strange place.
As for the armor, I haven't worked on it yet, but it seems you guys are a bit eager for it (the 3 winners).
I'll tell you what, I'll double this sweet ass offer.
1. I'm going to use Shepard's Armor as a base, because its far more detailed, instead of the MP character version.
2. If you have any requests, send them to me and I might do them (I want to do them all, but I also have my own life to attend to, so I cannot promise when they will be done)
I have enough BioWare fanboys lying around the outer Internet without having to actively search for them, thank you
Holy shit I just tried Space Engine, I feel like the first time I opened the galaxy map. Except this is much bigger, more detailed and more good-looking.
And it apparently has an editor. How long until people start remaking the whole Milky Way as it's seen in Mass Effect? I can't wait.

just go ahead and ask them what they think of geralt
Time to snatch this thread from the depths of hell.
So about that Heavy Alliance marine you guys wanted, a few choice questions.
I was thinking of making two versions, a blue urban camo similar to the marines ingame, and the other a purple/blue (with some white) similar to the marines on mars and Kaidan's alliance armor.
Sound good? Any requests? Any color schemes you guys wanted?
Do as you think it best, and we'll judge the end result.

I hope if they do this concept of a "definitive trilogy" version, that they do it right, but I'm not really hoping for much honestly.
Oh fuck, how I've missed that sense of scale and wonder

Nor that the very finale is going to change
And yes, I'm prevented to replay the whole thing again just for how rushed and unsatisfying the Mass Effect 3 ending is
Honestly I don't even mind the endings anymore. Its obvious ME3 was rushed by EA and never finished, tons of files of unfinished work can be mined from the game, including several ending files. It is, what it is. But this series brought my boyfriend and I together, and introduced us and many others to an inspiring and amazing Sci-Fi universe that made us remember to look out at the stars.
An unfinished ending and ME3's sloppy writing, for me at least, can never diminish that. Its not the best end for the trilogy, but that's just how life goes.
I'm really curious about how all these new species and tech are going to fit in. I still love the idea of accidentally activating a relay and going to some disturbing alien part of the galaxy.

The Lightning avatar says all that need be said.
I'm still bitter about the trilogy. The best memories I have with ME1 although some of the gameplay things needed improvements. With ME2 I have mixed feelings. They did a lot of great things but looking at ME3 it feels like the whole plot of ME2 was just an unimportant adventure plus ME2 gave clearer view on Reapers's goal which I don't find interesting at all. I have to wonder if I should blame my mixed ME2's feelings on ME3 because that's really the reason behind it. People say ME3 is great until the ending but I noticed things that annoyed me throughout ME3. It's late and I don't want to write another long post I wrote many times before.
I wouldn't mind a "super complete" remaster. For me I would add better and varied background NPCs.
I'm still trying to find a match in Multiplayer for N7 day, but can't find anyone. I'm on PS3, and I hope to god that it ain't dead. :(
PC is pretty much the only MP hangout worth using.

There are rumours that this could be the Citadel.

And this, the new mass relays.
you know, since this threads been kicked back into life, I don't think I've ever shown this here. Ages ago, my mate stuck some blacklight outfits on turians to go with all the shit I was making. He lost the files on his PC and doesn't really wanna work on them anymore but I always thought they looked pretty damn nifty
They more or less have most of the armor pieces ported from Taggart's pack. Bodygrouped pouches and other equipment. Pads and armor pieces too

He was also making female variants that were closer to the Male facial aesthetics (the darkhorse comic version) but never got round to finishing it. Never got the time to add in the facepaint skingroups either. But nothing the inflator tool couldn't fix

You feel that way because ME3 pretty much undermines a majority of what you did in ME2. The thing is ME2 wasn't that unimportant, it actually did a lot to build the ME universe and set up what could have been in ME3.
ME2's main points could be summarized with: characters, collectors, cerberus. The characters were the main point of the game. Through them you get a sense of connection to the game world, and for some characters (like mordin and legion), you get exposed to more important side plots (genophage, geth heretics). The game was about building a team of characters to best the collectors, and you'd think, eventually, the reapers. Cerberus was a tentative ally. You were forced to work with them, but you didn't have to like it. They had questionable ethics, but at the end of the day you were still fighting on the same team. Finally, there's the collectors. I don't think ME2 ever gave the danger of the collectors enough weight, but they werent supposed to matter beyond 2 anyway. What did matter is that through them you learned about harbinger, and a bit about the reapers too.
And then ME3 drops the ball. Not a single character from ME2 rejoins the squad. Only about a couple of them made any significant contribution to the war effort. Even the most important characters max out at 10-15 minutes of screen time, but the bulk of them have near useless appearances. ME3's team is sized down, and, now that I think about it, is the only Bioware game I've ever played that doesn't have companion sidequests. Cerberus is lol-indoctrinated, so they get to be a generic enemy the whole game. Kai Leng is probably the most ridiculed video game villain in recent history. Not to mention you fight them so much that they overshadow the damn reapers. You're forced back with the Alliance, but unlike Cerberus in ME2, you have no options to express how you feel about it. And finally there's the reapers. Harbinger, built as the possible big bad of all reapers in 2, has no dialogue...
Is it no coincidence that the most lauded parts of ME3 (tuchanka, rannoch) have heavy involvement from both ME1 and ME2? Characters from 1 and 2 (Wrex/Mordin, Tali/Legion) and decisions from 1 and 2 (Wrex on Virmire, Mordin/Legion's loyalty missions).
ME2 feels weaker now because it's almost entirely wasted potential. ME2 set the stage with its characters and side plots. Those sideplots that ME3 carried over well were the best parts of the game. The characters and factions that ME3 let down made the game bitterly disappointing.
Thought about going back to ME1
Does it hold up good?
Yes, except for mechanics.
Progression is slow, and I don't mind that, but power progression is super linear and goes from "completely worthless" to "press one button and own a room instantly" with most characters.

to be fair, all the me2 squad mates became determinant since they can all die in the suicide mission, so maybe it was too much work to have them all included as squad mates in me3. Tali and garrus became squad mates and relatively important(tali at least) to the plot since they probably are the most liked characters/theyve been with shepard since me1 etc etc

I actually suggest you open up the console, give you a million XP points or something (insta-Level 60) so that:
1) You can distribute all the points immediately and be done with it (you'll still get a few more points throughout the game)
2) You don't get bored of looting to get the exact same weapons all the time, or insignificantly upgraded ones. Just find some guns for you and your squadmate, and you don't have to loot a single more time. What a relief.
3) Combat becomes somewhat fun from the beginning of the game, and if you use sniper rifles, you can actually shoot straight instead of shaking your rifle like you've got Parkinson's.
4) You can determine quickly the ideal level of difficulty, instead of, like 27X said, going from "completely worthless" to "press one button and own a room instantly".
All in all, a good thing to do.

Yes, please, Bioware.
So long as you remake the ending to 3, even use Drew's version if you have to.
If that happens, I might buy another bioware game during my lifetime.
