Don't know if anyone has heard but Mass Effect 2 is free on Origin for a little while.
Don't know if anyone has heard but Mass Effect 2 is free on Origin for a little while.
WAIT, WITH ALL THE DLC T ... Oh.
Why is it so hard for some companies to make complete editions of their game? When you have to manually go buy the DLC for a 7-year old game, instead of buying a "GOTY" edition or whatever, there's something wrong.
What dlc is there for ME2?

They're the ones not interested in doing a re-release, not Bioware
I think somethings wrong with Kaiden
Driven mad by elevator load times.

At least companies like Bethesda, Square Enix or WB Games do it right when they release complete editions. But EA? Nah, let our customers pay more and be inconvenienced for a game we don't care about anymore.

I guess I'll be playing as Scott Ryder...
Driven mad by elevator load times.
I honestly never understood the reason for why some area's in that place were super large then others were smallest thing that you would ever see.
I honestly never understood the reason for why some area's in that place were super large then others were smallest thing that you would ever see.
The reason why I liked ME3 Citadel, everything is compact, and quickly accessible trough the one elevator, while the scale of the station is given trough the skybox.
There's something about the default female protagonist that just rubs me the wrong way. She looks like she's made of greased rubber or something
both of the default faces look horrid tbh, the female one is definitely worse but the male one has that disgusting """""beard""""" and I don't like either voice actor this time around, so there's that as well

Looks like there's a seventh class archetype this time around. "Explorer". Presumably a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, that old chestnut.
Looks like there's a seventh class archetype this time around. "Explorer". Still kind of a odd set up since i think you can swap to any of the classes at any time? Not fully sure what they are going for TBH
It reminds me of the system in Kingdoms of Amaular, where you swapped out fate cards to tweak your playstyle.
It reminds me of the system in Kingdoms of Amaular, where you swapped out fate cards to tweak your playstyle.
I hope they do the KoA thing where hybrid classes were different types of specialisations rather than being a shit mix of 2 or 3 classes.
I checked the Origin store page for Andromeda to see if the game will come in any bundle with a season pass attached. You know, if I'm really going to ask someone for a birthday gift. What I found instead were a Deluxe and Super Deluxe Edition which contained a varying degree of purely cosmetics stuff and things you can unlock in multiplayer after some matches. And the latter, if memory serves me well, is priced at 90 bucks. I suppose there are certain things that really never change
Andromeda isn't going to have a season pass. None of the Mass Effect games have had season passes.
Wasn't that partly because the whole idea of season passes never really took off until after Mass Effect 3 released?
That and the fact people were buying so many reinforcement packs a pass was pointless. The only reason we're even having this discussion was MP's supreme financial solvency in the face of being the most returned game ever at the time.
I think I'm going to grab Deluxe on Amazon, if you have Prime it's only $56 bucks at checkout. That's a nice deal.
heh, that music in the trailer is totally sascha dikiciyan's
i could easily mistake the beginning for a dxmd track. until that destiny-style horn kicked in
Sold
Yeah honestly, the stuff seems a bit underwhelming but at least they aren't locking some DLC mission to preorders. If anything, that pet will just stay in the armory like the stupid robo-pet from ME3.
Just picked up ME2 from Origin through their free deal, liking it so far. Decided to playthrough as a Sentinel first time around, might go soldier so I can use Assault Rifles in a 2nd playthrough.
