Mass Effect Megathread: He said "I should go." Do I sound like that?

I just realized that other than Inf, I have never touched any of the tech classes
I'm kind of ashamed to admit it, but I've only played as a Soldier. I think for Andromeda I might change it up and be more biotic heavy
Also, one of the Squaddies is a Krogan Female
i think sentinel is probably one of the more boring classes to play as
i've always played as an infiltrator

You would think that a space mage/engineer hybrid would be cool, but unless you have the same squad composition all game it is rather boring.
Always preferred going engineer or adept over it.
As long as we get to bang aliens I'm sold on Andromeda.
Other than Mass Effect 1, I never could get into biotics. I've tried ME2 and ME3 multiple times, but the only skill I've ever really had fun with was Slam, because it's fucking hilarious.
I've almost always played adept, but I am having fun as infiltrator this time around. Though my new favorite bonus skill is flare, that thing is nuts when combo'd with Liara's ultra fast cooldown singularities. So I guess in the end biotics are still my favorite gameplay mechanic.
What, no love for Vanguard?
Nothing more satisfying than charging through cover and blasting stuff in the face with your shotgun

Been replaying ME2 and I'm loving playing as Vanguard. When I next play though I've gotta get the SMG from the Kasumi DLC. The Shuriken just doesn't cut it for me.

I used to do this until I found out Vanguard has a fucking body slam so I started to branch out.

Biotic Charge is all good and fun until you go for harder difficulties and it literally just gets you killed.
I usually play Soldier or Engineer, though I hate how tech and biotics were simplified from 1->2
Charge is only good if you know how to time it and have a good shotgun. That's what I've found at least during my Hardcore Vanguard run
On Mass Effect the first, I pretty much chose my class at random, because, to this day, I think one of the main problems of that game is that, on a pure gameplay prospective, the different classes don't play out that much differently from one another.
The first time I played both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, I played as a vanguard, since I really liked the main concept behind the class and am used to play glass cannons in other videogames as well.
After that, I mainly shifted between infiltrator (rogues are basically my default class in any RPG in existence, beside magical rogues) and sentinel, with my preference going mainly with the latter (I really like the concept of playing as someone who uses both tech and "magic", and, starting from Mass Effect 2, the sentinel is one of the most versatile classes with also nice survivability)
I think in Andromeda I'll go for that mysterious pathfinder thing or something

And that's a big problem with it. While on lower difficulties and in ME3 with a light loadout, you can zip around and charge one after another. It can actually be pretty fun. But the instant you turn the difficulty up even just a little bit, you'll find yourself in a slog. In the beginning it's quite literally unusable unless you're charging like the last 2 enemies, and even later on when you're a higher level with a better shotgun, you have to wait in cover for the perfect opportunity to use it.
Soldier is the only class I never really cared for
I always went as a solider in ME1, so that Shepherd could actually use all those weapons he was lugging around on his back.
I started an Engineer character all the way from ME1 just for that one unique Engi perk in the Omega DLC :v:
I plan on playing Vanguard and Infiltrator on Insanity, never bothered with them yet, only played Soldier
will probably also make one of the two a complete anti-alien
I have played with every class, although Engineer and Adept have significantly less time spent on them. They kinda feel like made out of the less flashy powers Sentinels, Infiltrators and Vanguards get (and yeah, I understand it is the other way around, and the mixed classes are kinda missing important combinations the pure ones get).
Drones and Singularities are also not comparable to Tactical Cloak, Charge, Tech Armor or Adrenaline Rush. Still, I can get the playstyle and enjoy it.

To fuck or not to fuck? That is the question.
Oh no, that's right.
I'll have to decide my romance option in advance.
Ooooooh boy.

Yeah, put it in his cloaca!
They need to step it up with the footage. All the videos have been uninteresting so far

I'm already leaning toward the female Krogan, because why not?

It's like the original trilogy all over again.
To this very day, I don't know if having romanced this instead of that was the "perfect" course of action

You got your krogan mating face ready?
