That's one hell of a "prize". You'd probably be better off romancing Grunt. ...then again, maybe don't.

Grunt is too innocent and pure to be wasted on trash like Shepard.
The Mass Effect save import functions are fucking amazing. My latest Shepard went from a slightly sickly, mean-looking asshole in ME1 to sort of mean-looking mom in ME2 to just I don't even know what the fuck happened in ME3. Didn't take an image from the first one, but from 2 to 3 it looks like this.

At least 3 allows you to change the imported face so I can sorta try to fix it but it still just looks so, so wrong. Better this than my first playthrough, though, back when it was released and face imports literally just didn't work so I had to go with some weird guy who looked like a weird porn-version of my original, fucked up looking Shepard.
3 has half the facial morphs of the other two, so it's never going to be a one to one translation unless you have 3dsmax or blender handy.

If your copy of Me3 is missing copy protection, it'll be missing the defender armor as well
If your copy of Me3 is missing copy protection, it'll be missing ther defender armor as well
How would it be missing copy protection? It's a legal pre-ordered N7 Deluxe copy straight from Origin..
Which doesn't change my point at all.
I've always seen 3's import system as something that shoves existing faces into a standardized framework. Because no matter how different in structure my Malesheps look in ME1/2, they always seem to have the same kinda look when imported into three. It's like a backwards butterfly effect.
Here's a pretty lengthy look at Mass Effect Andromeda's combat

Man, you'd be kinda hardpressed to look as ME1 and then that and think they were the same thing if the UI didn't use really familiar elements. I miss classes.

Eh, as long as they're still in the MP, I don't really. It's not really fun being stuck with the same skills for a long time since they don't really have that same sense of growth as ME1 did, or since if you're an Adept, you have no tools to deal with shields, which again in ME1 you did, since your biotics could incapacitate them while you shot the fuck out of them with your spectre pistol. ME3 doesn't have this problem as much since you can use whatever weapons you want and there are a hell of a lot more of them than ME2.
it took 10 years, but weapons finally have unique reload animations and shit physically going in and out of them.
and the guns look kinda actually kewl now

wtf i am crie
Interesting to note that the armor they're wearing at 3:43 look like its Angaran in style. Compare it to what Jaal's wearing and the armored Angara to the left of the picture.

I just realized what bothers me about Jaal; it's that he has the exact same style collar as Alec Ryder has. I guess one of the concept artists really, really liked that style of collar.
I hope Ryder gets to use the Havoc Strike, and not just Liam.
That shit was hype in ME3MP.
Is it just me, or do the angara remind anyone else of twi'leks?

I want adrenaline rush bullet time back.
I just thought about this.
The reapers would know about the Andromeda mission which would mean that they would be sending ships to intercept them to prevent escape as they are slowly moving into the milky way, we could be seeing reapers.

But won't the long journey mean that the reapers have been destroyed/controlled/magicked by the time everyone wakes up?
Also I just don't want to see the reapers again, let's have something new.
But won't the long journey mean that the reapers have been destroyed/controlled/magicked by the time everyone wakes up?
Who says the signal from the relays would be intergalactic? That would be a fairly be beacon to hostile species if it did go intergalactic and presumably they would have a head start as the reapers at the time of launch are still in the void.
Also. We don't know what ending that ME3 had so it's the only logical choice for it to be only in the milkyway.
Imagine how people returning from Andromeda would feel if Shepard picked Refusal/Synthesis
Or the Krogans learning they missed [sp]the Genophage being fucking cured[/sp] by like 8 months.
But if they DO drag Reapers into Andromeda and following titles, I'd like the idea of it being just one Reaper who escaped the fate of its brethren. Have a more mysterious and enigmatic dynamic between the Lone Reaper and the inhabitants of Andromeda, where it's a presence in the galaxy but its motivations are a mystery to us. We don't know what it's up to, but it's probably nothing good.
They've pretty clearly stated reapers won't appear. I hope they don't either, their story's done. Besides, without the mystery behind them and actually knowing their motivations makes me just not care about them anymore.

It's suppose to be set before the events of Mass effect 3.

Fair enough. Though if they somehow went back on that (regardless of the potential shitstorm), having just one Reaper and making them a mysterious outlier would probably be the best way to go about it.
We knew what the Reapers' plans were, back in the Milky Way. But with a mysterious outlier, who doesn't seem to toe the line with what people knew about the Reapers, who the hell knows what they're up to? Why are they just WATCHING us? What are they WAITING for? Are they merely snooping on us? Do they seek some sort of dark congregation? Who the hell knows?
Though of course, this aspect could be applied to something else in Andromeda, some other "ancient intelligence" that raises intrigue, inspiring awe and dread in the peoples of Andromeda.

That's when the mission departs. The actual game takes place some 600 years after ME2's events, if I'm not mistaken.

The initial planning of the Andromeda initiative was set before ME1. Gameplay takes place 600 years after.
They have changed the Ryder skeletons according to feedback, both are a lot more human now!

Left is the new, right is the old model.
Finally we don't get midget proportions on the male anymore.
Sorry but Scott's torso is still way too long.
or arms are still too short
something is off in any case
Seems less like a fix and more like a different angle and lighting.
since the models dont look as strange anymore i hope we can customize both faces regardless of who we play as
since I don't like either VA though I'm just gonna choose the gender that gets to bone Vetra. if both, prob gonna go female like in the previous games
