Actually Jack was a proverbial 'nice guy' test. If you picked the option when she offered it, she wanted nothing to do with you. When she finally does warm up to you, everything is rated pg in both 2 and 3. Also crying.

MiniusGC did an overview of the Combat Profiles and Squad video. BioFan is working on more content (rougly 5,000 words and 30 mins). Also here's a list of all articles, previews and videos from thursdays early access http://shaperate.com/post/157611973659/mea-mega-list [editline]25th February 2017[/editline] Apparently you can give Ryder face tattoos according to 'Kinda Funny Gamescast' (but they also called the protagonist Sam Ryder)
Wait, does that make Vetra a milf. I didn't realize she was older
So ME2 is free for download on Origin right now. https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/free-games/on-the-house Just in case anyone was interested.
So i wonder what the reasoning behind not having a Salarian Squadmate is? Do we get him possibly later in the game? Also anyone else predicting that they'll do squadmate dlc? I reckon they may give us a Kett Squadmate, unless they are hive mind race.
Because they gave you salarian Joker, and if every SNPC is romance-able in some form, that kinda leaves out salarians. The only aftermarket content of huuuuge import/big deal I would expect to see is quarians or geth, since they've said exactly jack shit about them at all. Not NO, not YES, but only next question. Since quarians came in second behind krogans in the questionnaire thing at the beginning of development in terms of popularity, and BW knows this title is pretty much make or break as far as the franchise is concerned, it is entirely possible, however improbable, they've learned to give customers what they ask for without defensively running for the "artistic integrity" flash card in their top drawer.
^ I was really hoping to see quarians and drell in ME:A. Tali and Thane were so cool, hope they hold up some surprises like additional squadmates for us to discover ourselves

Quarians are still a possibility. Someone on reddit pointed this out from Arks and Nexus Briefing [vid]https://thumbs.gfycat.com/PresentPlumpErmine-mobile.mp4[/vid] Now there's a few possibilities here. A. That's a quarian! B. That's somehow not a quarian? C. That was a quarian, but this is may be an old screenshot and was maybe there as a placeholder or have since been taken out of the game. That picture aside there was still a lot of questions. Bringing quarians on an alien colonization effort could be seen as a liability due to their bum immune systems, BUT they could also ply their engineering prowess aboard the arks and the nexus. Additionally quarians are not regarded fondly, and the other members of the initiative may not be receptive to their inclusion. Would quarians want to go to Andromeda? Most quarians are still bent on retaking their homeworld. I can imagine a small group that would want to settle anywhere, homeworld or not, may be interested in joining the initiative, but how many would that be? The quarian population is small, would that even smaller subset be enough to keep a quarian population going in Andromeda? And if it WAS large enough would the rest of the quarians allow it? It'd be a significant blow to the population and reproduction of the migrant fleet and possibly put the species in danger. So would the quarians that decide to go be outcast quarians? Maybe the kind of quarians we hear about that decide not to return from pilgrimage? And hell if you want to come up with some conspiracy theories, it's possible (however unlikely) that the reason they've been so tight-lipped about Quarians is that they may play a more significant role in this game than expected. Why else would they not just give a straight yes or no answer? Well maybe they just don't want to turn-off the rabid quarian fans before the game comes out, or maybe there's something else. Who can tell? Frankly, and as much as I hate to say it, there are more reasons for them not to be in the game than otherwise. But who knows, fanservice is a powerful thing, and maybe I'm thinking deeper into it than Bioware would.
I am not gonna lie, I had no idea that the quarians had such a following (?)
No quarian, geth or robots for squad mates? That seems a little silly.
Knowing EA, they're probably saving that for DLC. Though if we're lucky, they'll actually bundle them into an expansion pack.
Knowing EA, they're probably saving that for DLC. Though if we're lucky, they'll actually bundle them into an expansion pack.
I wish we'd get proper expansion packs for games again.
Too bloody right. Though CDProjekt had us covered, at least in regards to Witcher 3. And Blizzard, for what it's worth, still subscribes to the expansion model for most of its main franchises.
Honestly it makes sense. The Andromeda Initiative leaves sometime during the Timeframe of ME2. Why would Geth join at all? A handful of Quarians I can see and I would not be surprised if a few of them are with the Turians. What really confounds me is the lack of Volus, considering their nature of being a merchant race. But maybe we'll see a few of them. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the developers are intending to write and explain the game story in a way that if they want to introduce more races into the Andromeda galaxy that they can do so. Just the growing pains of being a soft reboot of the series I suppose.

I have to agree with him it looks more like the Angarans IMO.

The quarians I doubt we'll see much of considering how much they anchor themselves to their home fleet and mostly leave with the intention of coming back. Which would not be the case if they left to Andromeda. Perhaps there will be a few that were hand picked for their technical know-how.
Remember, the initiative was deployed around ME2, and without the insider knowledge Shepard had. So Geth are dangerous technology, rather than people, in the mind of most, erm, people. Drell are also part of Hanar society, if we see Hanar we may see Drell. For Quarians, well, they have experience in this sort of initiative, but pariahs and all that. A damn shame they may be absent, Turian/Krogan/Quarian/Asari/Salarian/Drell is in my opinion the best selection of species to have alien squad/crew members.
After ME 2 and 3 what we've seen so far looks pretty underwhelming as far as alien races go. We know of two(?) Andromeda races and we're losing the Drell, Quarians, Geth, Vorcha, Batarians, Elcor, Volus, Rachni, and Hanar. I'm sure there are more Andromeda races but it just feels like Andromeda is "All the 'important' Citadel races plus a couple of new guys".
Does anyone really want the batarians to come back though?
Does anyone really want the batarians to come back though?
Yes. Though I mostly want them for the multiplayer because the Batarian classes were great fun.
Honestly, the batarians, vorcha and geth really have no business being part of the expedition. And the rachni are still largely thought to be extinct. [editline]27th February 2017[/editline]
Yes. Though I mostly want them for the multiplayer because the Batarian classes were great fun.
Fair enough, but considering their hostility to humans, it makes sense they are not a major part of the program.
Is there a digital version of Andromeda on PC that isn't fucking £49.99?
Does anyone really want the batarians to come back though?
Yes, because they got shafted so much. I want to see some batarians that actually want to work with people for the sake of their species and aren't two-dimensional racists. Plus, I've wanted a batarian squadmate since Bring Down the Sky. However, with the current narrative, I can't imagine we'd see any.

It makes sense that we'd see a lot less new races.
Is there a digital version of Andromeda on PC that isn't fucking £49.99?
Wait, what. Amazon.co.uk offers a boxed copy (which only has the code in it, no DVDs) for 39.99, but you can also get the code itself without a boxed copy which costs 49.99. Get more, pay less!

Probably late but you can possibly expect some Alien dongs and tiddies ingame.
Aww yee. Time to know what some genitalia actually looks like on Aliens.
