I kinda like the new Asari's design. Like she's not really attractive to me but I kinda like that about her. From playing the rest of the series I got the impression Asari were just the obligatory "sexy alien chick" race so having an outlier is interesting.
I'm interested to see more variety in Asari faces other than face tattoos or Mordin/Morinth/Liara Doesn't mean it'll happen :v: [editline]2nd March 2017[/editline]
Multiplayer character selection screen: Makes me wonder if we still unlock characters or that's just left for the weapons. [editline]2nd March 2017[/editline] Looks like we'll also be able to play a female Krogan.
If that has everything unlocked, the scrollbar is either lying or there's a lot of rare and very rare characters I think it's lying because in one of the gameplay series' videos you could see that it's size is not relative to the amount of scrolling required. Can't remember which one it was or what list, but I remember being kinda disappointed.
No matter how big the roster is at launch it's gonna get expanded for free anyway if ME3 is any indication. One of the things I really liked about ME3's multiplayer.
If there's no Andromeda version of the Geth Juggernaut, Multiplayer is dead to me.
There better be a damned volus in there. Was my favorite character in me3's online.
Really hope that mp character selection screen is a beta build, wouldn't make sense to have that many uncommons, unless this is showing how many they've unlocked. The arrows on the left look like they are pointing up and down, so it hopefully shows locked character further down. Lets see, we had Turian, Asari, Salarian, Krogan, Quarian, and Human on launch for ME3. Hope that as well as these, we also have some other species on launch, such as the Kett.

I'm hoping and guessing customization includes the helmet, because if it's human male/female for every class like it seems to be, it's weird that the sixth one has a helmet on the male but no helmet for the female.

It's just something about her face is really damn off at certain angles. [t]https://www.wired.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/me-andromeda.jpg[/t]
I think it's the face paint. It gives the illusion that here eyes are indented slightly below her brow. Gives her a cro magnon look at times.
Bioware faces are weird 4th dimensional things. Like Cassandra from DA:I. From some angles she looks great, others she looks like she has the jawline of a oil tanker.
tbh I love the look of face paint on chicks since fury road so I'm fine with that. DAI really did have some strange faces at some angles, it's surprising how I managed to create such a face I was happy with it from all angles. [editline]2nd March 2017[/editline] of course my character was qunari female and a human face would have less leeway
Must have classes in MEA multiplayer from ME3 multiplayer: Volus Adepts(free invisibility), Geth Juggernaut(a big ass unit that cant sprint or cover but has really good defense capabilities and can fuck shit up), Phoenix Soldiers(electro whips), Krogan Warlord(a biotic hammer), that one Asari Adept with a biotic bubble that blocks damage, some N7 classes like the one that has ammo/shield dispencer + teleporting ninjas.
Are there any Volus in the game at all? Are the Krogans they brought fertile?
Are there any Volus in the game at all? Are the Krogans they brought fertile?
maybe maybe but probably not
So both of the major known Krogan are from clan Nakmor. Coincidence? Or perhaps they were the only buggers allowed to come with?
Are there any Volus in the game at all? Are the Krogans they brought fertile?
Genophage isn't a sterility plague, it just helps reduce the birth rate to a manageable level - Mordin.
Genophage isn't a sterility plague, it just helps reduce the birth rate to a manageable level - Mordin.
That still means that they'd need to bring a fuckload of Krogan if they intend for them to have a sustainable population.
So both of the major known Krogan are from clan Nakmor. Coincidence? It's probably more interesting than joining up with yet another mercenary crew. Drack's probably seen enough of those in his lifetime
Its funny i have changed a lot sense Mass Effect 3. Back when it came out all i cared about was them fucking up the story, With this game though the story could be about stopping the peanut men from sacrificing human children to the death god George Carver and would not care i only want the gameplay and the gameplay of the multiplayer to be good.
That still means that they'd need to bring a fuckload of Krogan if they intend for them to have a sustainable population.
they could probably have a sustainable population with one clan alone if they stop killing each other
It still confuses me how after all the changes to Origin etc, EA kept the freaking Bioware Points system for the Mass Effect DLC - and no sales either. Andromeda finally gets me to come back and look at the trilogy... then wham, price wall. I can buy all three games cheaper than even one piece of DLC.
Finished Mass Effect 1 and 2, absolutely loved both. Really want to play ME3 and its DLC (Especially because the series is discounted on Origin right now) but the price of the DLC and the atrocious system of getting them is really turning me off. Suggestions? Also my favorite moment so far is [sp]Mordin singing.[/sp]

From Ashes too.
The leviathan missions were pretty cool imo
ME3 has some pretty good DLCs, only Omega is weak. [editline]3rd March 2017[/editline] Even then, it's got some decent action.

Speaking of - has anyone played ME3 with the Expanded Galaxy Mod? I went in with very low expectations but have actually been blown away.

I don't know how much has changed because I haven't played the normal game in ages as well, but it adds some nice things.
Alright, I'll try to pick up the version of ME3 with From Ashes, and get Leviathan and Citadel when I can. I assume they can be added in the middle of a playthrough?
