Here is hoping they actually have a model for a face, and not photoshop. (Also gimme Drell as well).
Bet they'll just cheese it and they'll still be in suits.
Given that H-1 is a desert planet, I imagine there's gotta be SOME Drell wanted to come along to see it.
So, assuming there's no gameplay series trailer this week, maybe they'll show off the multiplayer? They are going to pax east this week, letting everyone who wants to try it out.
After watching that video I linked, I realised who we need the most...
Bet they'll just cheese it and they'll still be in suits.
Probably, yeah, since this is before any resolution to the Rannoch situation, since the expedition left between 2 and 3, which means that any Quarians will still need their suits. (Since they won't have the benefits of the Geth-Quarian reconciliation)

The Rannoch/geth situation is irrelevant though. Quarians will pretty much always need their suits in foreign atmospheres.

It's safe to assume that even if they get their old immune systems back, that'd still happen, even if they'd adapted to some other planet as their "default"

The briefing is from a human perspective, from the human team + ark program. If we were turians, we'd see turian symbolism and history instead
I had a weird dream about playing Mass Effect 2 and all I can remember was that I had customised my Shepard to be a hanar who was voiced by Nolan North. What I'm trying to say is "Hanar Ryder for Andromeda please,".

Here's hoping they're keeping the more "alien" stuff secret.

Sort of a revamped Dragon Age: Origins. Once I heard the premise of Andromeda I thought maybe this would be it, but well, nothing is pefect. Maybe next Trilogy :v:
I'd be game for something along the lines of "Andromedorigins".
I'd be game for something along the lines of "Andromedorigins".
I always thought a ME game with a DA Origins twist would be cool. Start the game as like a Human/Asari/Turian/Salarian and after the intro character background quest you end up becoming a Spectre and go on an adventure around the galaxy.
I'd be game for something along the lines of "Andromedorigins".
My brother and I were talking about it today how they could have easily had it so you choose to be, at the very least, one of the four Pathfinder's species and they each have their own background story and means of entering the main plot. Which could add a whole lot of new dynamics to your character and how they fit in the galaxy.
Final briefing Quarians finally confirmed?
If the lady who's voice we are hearing in this, isn't ingame, this game will be dead to me.
She's the science officer that sits beside Kallo Jath on the Tempest. For some reason after hearing her voice I'm getting flashbacks of the teacher from whats the story in Ballamory
I just read, I might be late, but as it turns out, the reason why Shepard wasn't part of the Andromeda Initiative was because they launched around the same when Shepard was brought back to life, 2185, as the events of Mass Effect 2's start, which shows Shepard dying, took place in 2183, so the Initiative didn't know about Shepard's "resurrection" prior to leaving, and then of course because it'll be 2785 by the time we're in the Andromeda Galaxy, nothing matters really; one of the options we can choose at the start for the character creation is Shepard's gender, for reference throughout the game, although backstory and shit are irrelevant.
thing bout the nexus just got posted:
Looks like they found a way to bring [sp] Liara [/sp] back.

Also that krogan's voice was hilarious
Also that krogan's voice was hilarious
i honestly thought of a female krogan
i honestly thought of a female krogan
Because that's probably what it was.
i honestly thought of a female krogan
She was the Chief Engineer aboard the Nexus, a female krogan.
