If that's the same VO as Battlefront 2015, he's doing it worse. TBH I thought Lex Lang was closer to Harrison than this guy was anyway.
He sounds a lot better when he's just talking instead of yelling, about 2:46 onward. Still not great. Harrison's voice is hard to nail.

Apparently he is voicing in SWBF2 though, but some speculation as to who he is voicing are tha he's either voicing Rebel soldiers or voicing Poe Dameron.
They added a campaign info page https://www.ea.com/games/starwars/battlefront/battlefront-2/campaign [t]https://prod-media-walrus.pulse.ea.com/content/walrus/en_US/games/starwars/battlefront/battlefront-2/campaign/_jcr_content/bodyPar/swbfdragnavtarget/dragNavComponents/swbfhero/images/image.img.jpg[/t]
As long as the campaign isn't short then I'll be happy, otherwise I will be quite pissed off.
I'm honestly not expecting it to be longer then 4-5 hours This is speculation in my part. [editline]15th July 2017[/editline] According to one of the devs, they've almost run out of space on physical disc versions of BF2
I heard about that. I'm assuming they're using dual-layered blu-rays for the disc versions? That would allow 50GB of space.
Plus its still a few months away from release, they still have time to optimize the file size.
Given the way of modern games they won't optimise the filesize worth shit; I'm hoping the campaign isn't that short, if it is I'm gonna be really fucking unhappy with them, like they bother to include a campaign but make it short as fuck throwaway content, wow yeah, so good.
Battlefront is primarily a Multiplayer game, SP is just the side dish. The only reason they have a SP campaign is because of the backlash, I don't expect it to have a decent length. However, I think the story itself will be enjoyable. I wouldn't buy BF2 for the campaign.
It'll go the same way as Battlefield 1 probably, where people said it was apparently really good and shit but I honestly didn't see it being really good, it was decent but the length was the downside, shit was over way too quickly.
We're going to learn more about the SP at D23, at 1PM to 2PM PST here https://www.twitch.tv/jacksepticeye It isn't just Star Wars, it is Disney related games in general. [editline]15th July 2017[/editline]
Honestly the more I think on it the less hopeful I am really, in recent years the only FPS game has had a decent length campaign and that was good was Infinite Warfare, no joke, say what you will about the rest of it but the Campaign was actually pretty damn good and one of the better Call of Duty campaigns overall.
Yeah, I loved IW's campaign.
I'd expect the singleplayer to have these really nice cutscenes to fill in the story, but all the gameplay be kind of like the Singleplayer/Cooperative mode in BF2015, playing as whoever the mission calls for with holograms on the HUD telling you objectives. Nothing fancy, but story being focused on in cutscenes.
I saw this pointed out on reddit, but some of the hero voices lines are responses to other heroes, some of Solo's lines are responses to Boba Fett's lines towards him
I hope Kylo Ren's lines to Darth Vader are just him fanboying at him super hard and Vader being both annoyed and confused.

I don't think it is going to be like what you suggest at all.
I wonder if they're going to get John Boyega to voice Finn They obviously didn't get Daisy Ridley, but John has been involved with the marketing, so I can't see him not doing it. [editline]15th July 2017[/editline] [editline]15th July 2017[/editline] That shot of the droid shocking the rebel at the door was actually leaked a few months back in an older build [t]https://i.redd.it/2miix1ostt9z.jpg[/t]
I'm kinda sad that they couldn't/didn't get Morrison on board for voicing the clones in EA BF2. Dee Bradley Baker's clones are great in their own right, but just a little too... panicky? Though, at times, Baker does sound a bit closer to Boba Fett's original actor in the OT. So I'm conflicted.
I'm thinking it might have been cost? The clones have a lot more lines then Boba. [editline]16th July 2017[/editline]
The breathing from the droid announcer bothered me, even ingame during the alpha.
It was probably added late and they didn't have time to clean it up for the Alpha. Notice how some of the breathing almost flows between the lines, a lot of them are probably one take.
God i am looking forward to the Battlefront 2 Multiplayer beta.

I think TM's voice is very fitting for the clones, but he doesn't often extend his range. DBB on the other hand gives much more life to the clones, even giving them different cadences and accents to distinguish them in The Clone Wars. I feel that having him voice the clones is a great connection between TV Star Wars and video game Star Wars (and technically film Star Wars with the The Clone Wars movie), which is something I've been wanting for a long time.
The only real gripe I have so far is Inferno Squad's helmets, it's just a minor thing, though. Would have been cool to see something a little more garden variety brand storm trooper or a new design instead of a TIE helmet with red highlights. Maybe that's just me. Their whole uniform looks more like dismounted TIE pilots than sleek special forces to me, I dunno if it's the helmet making me associate the rest of the outfit with that motif or what.

I don't think we've seen any of Inferno Squadron flying yet, but if they've got similar helmets and the First Order has TIE fighters that are probably designed after Inferno Squadron's colors, it seems safe to assume they're pilots as well as ground forces.

The mission shown behind closed doors at E3 had you taking out the escorts of the Mon Cal cruiser seen in the video But the FO's red stripes come from the normal highly decorated tie pilots not Inferno, this has already been established in lore.
my only problem with the helmets is they look too big.
my only problem with the helmets is they look too big.
My real problem is them not having a proper connection to the body armor. You can see Iden snap hers down in the first trailer, presumably before going on a mission, but there's a stretch of her neck and hair between the helmet and her armor. The life support for TIE pilots is in their chestpiece.
This doesn't cancel out your point, I agree with you, but TIE fighters in the new canon have life support now, the suit is just for backup
This doesn't cancel out your point, I agree with you, but TIE fighters in the new canon have life support now, the suit is just for backup
Oh shit really? Damn, I liked when they didn't have life support just to prove that the Empire thought of TIEs as completely disposable.
This doesn't cancel out your point, I agree with you, but TIE fighters in the new canon have life support now, the suit is just for backup
Is it all TIE Fighters, or just the special forces ones that Finn and Poe stole? I remember them saying that those TIEs were special ones.
