Well that's just fucking sad really.

They think it might have been LucasFilm calling Canon shenanigans, because allegedly that is the reason we never got a Luke in his pilot uniform skin. But that has to be bullshit, if LucasFilm cared about the canon in battlefront, we wouldn't have normal troopers with jetpacks, or the Emperor fighting on the field.

The speeder bikes can actually be seen in the Hoth trailer when the view switches over to the Tie fighters.

Yeah, I was pointing this out back in 2015, I had honestly forgotten about them.

what would the other droid special unit be? They've already said droidekas arent in the base game, and I doubt they'd do something like Magnaguards. I vaguely remember there being some sort of droid commando but I cant really remember.

that's why i've always preferred the longer DC-15A, no matter how clumsy it may be

The left hand of the trooper is also clipping the front of the weapon

I'm sure the DC-15A is supposed to be a little bit bigger anyway.

For some reason they switched the letters around in the new canon. The DC-15A is the carbine and the DC-15S is the rifle. While in legends it was the other way around. I was looking at images from both the movies and Clone Wars. It looks to be right compared to Episode 3, but Clone Wars seems to have made it bigger then the movies.

assuming they're following the updated designs, does this possibly mean the Stormies in The Last Jedi will have that grill on the helmet "mouth" instead of the previous smooth mesh thing, in addition to looking sharper than the Ep7 version?

Not Battlefront II and sort of a shameless self plug but I've began the process of uploading all the unit voice lines from both Empire at War and it's expansion pack Forces of Corruption. TBH the SWBF2 version looks a lot better.

We haven't had any shots of the TLJ storm trooper where there is enough light to see if they have teeth

that seems odd to me.

It is a bit strange, because up to this point they've paid so much lip service to how LucasFilm wants things 'authentic'.
