For full on missions though I recommend an actual joystick.

Looks like Yoda is the Republic ship hero, not Obi-Wan. Also there is a shot of a Venator crashing into Kamino, I hope that is actually real and not just in the trailer. There are Republic Y-Wings from Clone Wars, someone on reddit spotted a Tri-Fighter and a Republic Arquitens. Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter was spotted.

They're planning at least a year or so of free expansions, they'll probably show up post-launch. [editline]18th August 2017[/editline] Most of the work for the OT era is likely just upgraded content from BF1, so most of their new work probably went into the PT and ST eras. The new content from both eras is probably as much work as Battlefront 1 by itself. Then you have to consider the new game modes, balancing, powers. That is likely why the PT and ST don't have as much content as the OT, since work on just those two eras is practically a new game in itself.

I'll be honest, Yoda being the fighter squad hero for the Clones is just a weird,weird,weird,weird,weird,weird choice. I can understand them not having other heroes at the moment for fulfill that role but Yoda isn't the person I picture getting in a starfighter to go shoot at some baddies. Plo-Koon,Anakin, or Saesee Tiin, would make sense, hell you aint event gotta make a world model for Koon or Tiin, just a voice over.

Edit: Goddammit Tuskin you space ninja But yes trailer is out. Promising glimpses of the maps so far, but I will admit Endor space has me curious. Death Star Debris? So no map set during the actual battle of Endor, but the immediate aftermath it looks like. Are we seriously going to fly into stations/ships as part of the mode? Ohohoho yes that is awesome, I hope we have to fly into the Fondor Shipyard or the Lucrehulk to finish it off from the inside

I'm guessing they don't want to re-hash maps from the first game. Though I wouldn't be surprised if one of the free post-launch updates added some old maps.

Not gonna lie I was hoping one of them would be something akin to taking out the Executor during the Battle of Endor. Honestly I just want to interact with a Super Star Destroyer as opposed to just watching one crash into Jakku in the distance like the last game. Well if not launch maybe DLC, who knows.

I really do like the Resurgent class, its a nice evolution of the Imperial Star Destroyers without being an almost 1:1 rehash like the FO TIE Fighters. Though they got the name wrong in the trailer, the Resurgent is a Battlecruiser, not a Star Destroyer. Good thing about Battlefront II though, is knowing that the DLC is going to be free, so anything they announce later on, any badass shit, we'll be getting it for free. :dance: It's kinda sad that I have such a positive response to Free DLC really, since it should be the norm'.

I know they're going to add them and other heroes post-launch, but it would feel weird if they didn't include Obi-Wan and Anakin at launch since they were the primary characters in the prequels.

I'm thinking they chose Yoda because Anakin and Obi-Wan would be too similar to Luke. Yoda is pretty unique in his fighting style. As is Maul.

As is Maul.[/QUOTE] Obi-Wan and Anakin are nothing like Luke in terms of their fighting style. Obi-Wan's is primarily based around defense while Anakin is more of a powerhouse. Luke's current role in BF 2015 was as a hit and run saber user. I'm sure they can come up with [B]something[/B] for Skyguy and Kenobi.

Well it depends on what the items are really, if they're gameplay altering and not just minor things, then it's gonna be pay to win of course, they'll try and say it's not but we're not morons.
