Speaking of EaW, I tried playing the expansion campaign and I don't get how to use the bribe mechanic, I get a popup showing a bribe option but no way to use it

For ground, yes. But Space is a lot better then ground combat. I usually just skip ground.

There are some incredibly fun mods out there.

I prefer galactic battlegrounds over EaW but that's a tad bit unfair considering its a discounted star wars skin for Age of empires

Also picked up EaW considering it was on sale, other than the fact the base game likes to tank like a motherfucker on the galatic map (which I still haven't figured out a fix for, all the suggested stuff makes it actually worse) while FoC doesn't, its pretty good. Forgot how damn broken the Zann faction is, these ground units are absolutely retarded.

The guy on reddit who accurately predicted the E3/Alpha and Gamescom Starfighter assault info is back with Beta info Maps: Galactic Assault on Theed (40 players), Space Battles on Fondor (24 players), Strike on Takodana Skirmish: Will be called Arcade or something like that. Will contain Solo, Split and CO-OP - up to two players. Heroes: Same ones from EA Play Platforms: PC, Xbox 1, PS4 LAAT - should be the surprise vehicle you may see (it will go round and round like the U-Wing from Scariff) Size: 14-16 GB 5-9 emotes for soldiers (not sure if heroes will have emotes in beta) You will earn credit and collect cards for the troopers but the credit will be lost at the end of the beta. Graphic - a little improvement over E3.

That means I got Battlefront and all 4 expansions for a grand total of $18

I think sabotage is the shittiest game mode I have ever played in any game. Even though it's nice to actually be able to play the dlc now, it's become apparent just how god awful it is pretty quickly.

I like it, but until heroes spam is happening.

Shields have a counter at least. Can't say the same about jumppacks, bacta bombs, or ee4.

Plus there are classes now, and vehicles can be bought with game points from the class menu. I certainly like it a lot more, and would probably spend my money on it considering the season pass is "Free". I think it's better to be in the spirit of the original games rather than slavishly close to them. This looks like a Battlefront game, and to be honest, I think this is pretty much the direction the series would have gone in sooner or later anyway.
