I pre-ordered from Amazon in Canada so I don't get early access to the beta, oh well. [editline]26th September 2017[/editline] Saw this pointed out on reddit, look at the top left [t]https://i.redd.it/txvprtaqn9oz.jpg[/t] You can see those giant squid droids or whatever they were that the CIS used to invade Kamino in the Clone Wars CG show.
[T]https://i.imgur.com/45fR5ut.png[/T] He better have the Sheev spin special ability again or I'm boycotting. Also, is there any confirmation anywhere about whether Arcade maps are going to be ground battle exclusively? I'd appreciate being able to do some singleplayer dogfighting in peace.
The heroes returning from the previous game are probably copy&paste jobs; apparently we aren't meant to experience the bliss of Jar'Kai Sidious.
Not a fan of the rarity of drops, the more rare the better your skills, and that you can fucking pump real money into it to get them
The heroes returning from the previous game are probably copy&paste jobs; apparently we aren't meant to experience the bliss of Jar'Kai Sidious.
I'd love to have two versions of Sidious; the original trilogy one we already have that focuses on his force abilities, and one with the hooded red cloak and unscarred appearance that uses the dual sabers. Obviously wouldn't make any sense for him to show himself in a battle like that, but it's an acceptable break from reality. Just hope they aren't too intrusive.
I suppose--Sidious was using lightsabers around the time of the Galactic Civil War as well. DICE seems to be under the mistaken impression that he retired them, and the notion that he had a distaste for the weapon is Legends apocrypha thus far.

I think there was one book that took place early on in the Empire's rule where he used them on Ryloth, but I can't remember any other examples. Not like the guy has to defend himself very often anyways. I think having the original trilogy Emperor stick to lightning fits better as well, seeing as that's all he's ever seen using in the movies themselves. Also nice because that way the lightning can be balanced to be a powerful primary ability, not just a secondary attack.

If people are spending left and right for cards with slightly better stats and it means free maps, modes and characters etc then I won't be too heartbroken. As long as it's still possible to have a fighting chance against people with max tier star cards.

I'm wondering how OP it'd be for a Sith to use the force to handle Lightsabers, like not physically touching them with their hands, instead just using the force to move them about instead, you could have some really wacky designs with shit like that.

There is a rumour it will have an 'I'm Solo' emote.
So according to a dev, BF2 updates will be smaller, but also more frequent then BF1 and Battlefield 1. You won't be waiting months for new content. https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBattlefront/comments/7233do/how_seasons_might_pan_out/dni63p7/ [editline]28th September 2017[/editline] also according to them Criterion is making the offline stuff that isn't single player.
You'd better be quicker than BF1, fucking 2nd DLC after a year, Christ.

They had to rush out maps in order to get people playing again between releases. The worst part is they like to attach patches with critical changes to these DLC releases which are several months apart. [editline]28th September 2017[/editline] Especially with Battlefront 2 Two not having a server browser, they can't afford a population dive a year into launch.
Yet, it will have dedicated servers that you can rent. What is the point of that if there is no server browser?
also according to them Criterion is making the offline stuff that isn't single player.
Pod racing gametype when.
They've released a cutscene from the Single Player, probably from near the beginning of the game.

Hype for the story campaign officially increased.
Jesus fuck Sentinels are creepy in motion, wasn't expecting them to glide around.
I admit I actually jumped a little when it suddenly glided over to Iden after she asked a question :scream:

There was a deleted scene in TFA where Finn and Rey steal one, you can still see it sitting outside through the doors when they enter the oscillator
It's the one from the weird cut scene that... should have been in TFA
