I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. While it's a little off, if it's not Adam Driver (and I'll be honest - if they can get Daisy, then Adam should be doable) then it's a fairly good approximation. But there's just little things in the way he speaks that makes me sure it's Adam and not somebody imitating him. Remember: these games aren't exactly great for the voice direction (see: last game - people were denying Matt Sloan was Vader because the direction of his voice was quite bad)
I think the only thing throwing me off is the lack of depth, the voice modulation on Ren's mask in the films gives it a deeper tone that they haven't really captured in the game.

It'll be interesting to see what some of those weapons are. Maybe the new ones are from The Last Jedi.
The M-45 does indeed refer to the one Bistan was firing from the U-Wing (there's a good enough picture of it in the Rogue One Visual Dictionary that you can compare). Unless I'm mistaken, it looks very much like the M-45 is based off parts of the MG-42.
It's interesting how the ST era uses a mix of new weapons, with the remainder being weapons from Rogue One (DLT-19D, M-45, A180). Is the A180 referenced there separate from the A180 Sniper? IIRC the EL-16HFE is the version of the rifle that Poe uses at the start of TFA.
Finally downloading it woo.
45 kills and a 29 kill streak as Maul. People say he is a waste outside but as long as you plan your engagements right you can always run out and regen.

Shame. Seems that, at least for now, we're only getting the Sniper version. But then again, we'll likely be getting a Rogue One DLC at some point (if the Jedha entry is anything to go by) so we'll hopefully get the Pistol version then too.
Sam Witwer was playing BF2 last night, talking about recording Maul. Because he can be played in all eras, choosing a voice to use was a bit hard, so he went with a little bit TPM Maul, and a little bit of Clone Wars/Rebels 'Unhinged' Maul depending on the line.
Though he says the writers knew their stuff based on the lines they wrote him.

I don’t think that I would mind Kylo’s voice had there not been audacity settings that made you sound identical to him within like a day of his voice being heard

I fucking love specialist, that gun is just so much fun, its up there with the vanguard on assault, that shits hilarious when you get the drop on an entire group.

I still kinda wish the conquest wasn't just 20v20 though.
i suck at this game so bad it's almost funny
I could easily see myself playing nothing but the space combat in EAFront 2 for a while.
The ground combat is great too but I'm having a ton of fun with the ship combat, it definitely feels a lot better than the last game.
I think I just need to fuck with the sensitivity for controller air combat, it's a bit weird.
Zeos are you playing on PC or console? Because mouse control is much easier then a controller in space.
PC, I was so used to using a controller as Battlefront 1's Flying Mouse controls were fucking awful

i find it good when you want to target someone relatively far away in a TIE, vulture droid or a trifighter myself

I found it to be surprisingly good. At least it's not completely unusable like in the last game where the camera is completely locked.
Downloading the Beta on my PS4 now just to try out coop with a friend. From what I've seen in videos, it seems like the game is actually running at 60 fps in split screen. Pretty impressive but it could obviously be a result of the lower player count and smaller maps. Right now, that's the thing that bums me out the most. I want to freely mess around in big battles with all the available vehicles/units/heroes. I REALLY hope it will be possible in the full game but things aren't looking good.
It's so funny bringing the AT-RT inside the palace in Theed. You're basically indestructible in the long corridors blasting people away.
Can't play in 60FPS because I can't switch it from 50HZ :hammered:. Game is amazing otherwise though.
The game feels great even on controller, I'm saying this because I mainly play shooters on PC. The game feels fun and the Heavy is great, love playing as that class. Cooldowns are a bit long but otherwise feels great. It also feels great to save up battle points and then get a lightsaber hero and rush in defence of final control point.

For me personally, i find it easier to rack up points as a bomber in Starfighter Assault.
i mind having this issue in the alpha, is there any way at all to get rid of the HORRIBLE fucking blurriness on the side of the screen? i think its chromatic abberration or something, idk what possesses devs to include it in games but its fucking up my eyes
also the perf hasn't really improved much from the beta, on a 1070 and still can't get it running that smooth on the higher settings

Yeah I noticed that too. Not updating for me.
Also Strike lately won't load for me. Kicks me back to the menu and then suddenly I can't play any modes and have to restart the game.

I honestly think Bombers are tuned a bit to the OP side. 9 out of 10 times the players getting the awards at the end of the match are Bombers if not hero ships. They output lots of damage and they just, won't, die.
Also I always thought Interceptors were meant to just eviscerate in ship to ship, and maybe it's just me, but does anyone else feel like they are weak and their blasters overheat way too quickly?
How the fuck do you get whatever currency is used to buy weapons? It doesn't seem to explain it anywhere and I can't find a single thread online
this game has some really good moments. was playing space battles and I was chasing a tie fighter through the insides of a battlecruiser. he was twisting and turning, basically trying to lose me, but i managed to keep up and just as he exits the battlecruiser, i blow him the fuck up.
it was brilliant. but the 40 player battles, I've not seen any vehicles you can ride, is that intended? i was hoping to ride on those hover scooters on the forest map, but there were none.

I'll try and help clear this up.
Credits you get from completing challenges and by playing matches overall.
Credits seem to be only useful for buying the lootboxes.
The lootboxes give you star cards and scrap, which is the currency used to craft weapons, upgrades, star cards, etc.
Scrap can currently [B]only[/B] be obtained through lootboxes, as there is no method to turn duplicate or unwanted cards to scrap. This is supposed to change for launch.
