Scrap can currently only be obtained through lootboxes, as there is no method to turn duplicate or unwanted cards to scrap. This is supposed to change for launch.
Apparently it was that way in the Alpha. Or was according to the game changer videos.

not scrap, but here is a guide on credits

Some challenges give scrap.
I don't have any issues flying with the controller, after figuring it out I fell in love with it and got both MVP and top kills for the Starfighter Assault for the first time since I've ever played a Battlefield or Battlefront game, I was pretty proud
Also yeah the LAAT is a joke in this game, they have like no health and are so easy to snipe down since they're on rails.
God I wish the Resistance Soldiers weren't so bland looking. It's not the game's fault, but goddamn
Open beta is kind of fun
Shooting feels pretty good, but the movement feels way too slow. Especially for a game that is super open such as swbf.
Also everything is super cluttered and hard to see things.
If only people on Galactic Assault would actually follow the objective that would be nice. It's not that difficult to grab a launcher and try and shoot the big moving tank, people, please.

I played Galactic Assault as the Clones and my team was constantly playing the objective (heck, I even got to fire on the MTT myself). We got it down to 1HP but ran out of time to destroy it.

idk I usually hope the game goes longer so I have more of a chance to spend my Battle Points on a hero, but yes winning is nice too
From the sounds of it, the clones are protecting a Venator that has a SPHA-T cannon attached to it (like the EP3), and then fighting a CIS Providence Class

The female droid commander sounds cool as hell, too bad the droid soldiers themselves sound like shit because of "canon".

Yeah it is a Tactical droid, I believe only one with that voice ever showed up in The Clone Wars, and was voiced by Ashley Eckstein.
The Droids just use their CN clone wars voices, same with Dee voicing the clones which is cool.
and I think the announcer is a tactical droid
One of the Dev's confirmed it is meant to be a tac droid.

In the beta files, in the same section where the clone markings for theed are stored, there is reference to the 41st Elite Corps 'camo'. 41st is the corps serving on Kashyyyk in Episode 3. So we might get camo Clones on Kashyyyk.
Also referenced is the 327th, which was on Felucia in Episode 3.

the Theed markings don't have a number, they're just called 'theed'.

HO-LY SHIT, did Gordy Haab compose that!? I mean I knew he was good but he really is channeling his inner John Williams for this one! That track is incredible!
The First Order Riot Baton is in the files, as is a police baton from Clone Wars TV series.
Not sure if it's just me, but theres no post-match chat, that triggers me; i NEED to say gg after every match.
Also holy shit MTT just blasts shit apart, got it like 3 spawns in a row and just carved up clones, especially just before it fires on the palace doors and theres dozens of them all grouped up on the steps.
The fact that your respawn timer doesn't start until you skip the kill cam and select a troop just about ruins the whole experience for me. Also, I was really liking the Strike game mode up until I realized that I can't spawn in as a rocket troop for three quarters of the game because other people already did. I got tired of playing so fast.
it sucks that dogfights are literally as bad as they've always been (not in space battles thankfully, since there's so many enemies you can just switch to whoever is in front of you), I used my points in a 40 player match to spawn as a fighter pilot, and it was just me and an enemy fighter in the sky, and all we could do was circle and circle and circle. if i tried focusing on ground troops, i'd just get shot down. i couldn't even tell if i could shoot at ground troops cause i was constantly having to deal with the other dude in the sky with me.
it'd be perfectly synchronised so right as he gets in my targeting reticle, he's just whizzing past me. if i slowed down to try and line up a shot, he'd just be able to shoot me. if i sped up to come back at him, he'd just be on my tail. that's pretty much what all 1v1 dogfights boil into, it's so boring. some ships need tighter turn radii, whilst others should turn slowly, depending on class etc.
Theed just feels like an awful map for air combat in general. I hope there's maps that are better with that
my god I'm really in love with how the clone troopers are modelled...
the armour pieces are rigid... none of that play-doh plasticky bending from BF1
smacking a super battle droid in the face catapulted it across the room
i don't know what's in the food on Kamino but i want some
B1 ragdolls are the best.
is melee an instant kill?
is melee an instant kill?
No
deals a good bit of damage but it's better as a finishing move after you've peppered the target with a blaster

No-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no. For the love of fuck no.
It's been in the upper right of the main menu this whole time. How else are you going to buy crates?

I've gone on some decent tears by strafing infantry but as soon as it becomes a dogfight it goes right down the drain. It doesn't help that there is no information about ship handling characteristics anywhere. I don't know what speed I should be manuevering at or how fast/agile each class is.
Holy shit the starfighter mode is SO FUCKING FUN
Hell I don't even know how to target other ships. Sometimes it happens automatically right after I spawn one, other times I can't get a target lock at all.

I have it set that I hold onto F and it will lock onto them so I can fire a missile. Otherwise I just shoot them all down. Most people are horrible so I end up with 30+ kills every game.
