I've played it the better part of a year now, i enjoy it, but i understand the flaws. Its just so much unfair grinding. But it's better when you just understand that a lot of the new characters coming out etc just can't be achieved by someone who hasn't been working on the game for a long time. Sometimes i do just think about deleting it off my phone and im not sure i would go back if i did.

[editline]31st October 2017[/editline] So epic star cards are no longer in crates, you can only craft them. abd crafting parts come from crates and duplicates.. so there is still an incentive to buy crates for them, it just takes more.

The way star cards progress is linear, which means the difference between an Epic and a Rare is identical to the difference between a Common and Uncommon. I don't really see keeping them out of crates as being that big of a compromise. I also don't understand why any weapons are in loot crates. Again, I'm waiting for the final release to see how where the system falls but this seems like a half-hearted measure to me.

I'm guessing the weapons in the crates are the ones you can modify to make them more enticing.

I'm currently on the fence about buying Battlefront II or not (and even then, I'd buy it much later than the day of release). One one hand, the single player campaign premise really interests me and the multiplayer gameplay seems serviceable and engaging enough. On the other hand however I know for a fact the campaign will be a brief experience at best and made a point about [I]not[/I] buying any multiplayer-focused game I won't have any friends to play together with. I'll consider my gaming priorities carefully

If it is like the Battlefield 1 trial then the single player will just be a demo, not the full version. I don't know if the MP limited. The trial time is only counted while the game is running.

So the game changers and other youtubers were flown up to play the game last week, so we might be getting new footage soon. Probably this week
