They make heroes in pairs. They don't want an unequal number of melee heroes for example. A bit silly but I guess it makes sense. Obi Wan is supposedly coming alongside Grievous in a future season.
The alleged 'rumour' is that they want to release Grevious and Obi-Wan as a pair, but they're having a hard time nailing Grevious down. They wanted them at launch but couldn't finish Grevious. Grevious model is in the game files so that does prove they started on him at least.
No it wouldn't? Armour is also tied to the role and what year of the war you're in. You wouldn't see Phase 1 clone armour on Kashyyyk for example.
Sorry if I wasn't specific enough but I specificallly meant the designs ON the armor, not the armor itself. Like if the Phase 2 clones on Kashyyk are green, you're still a phase 2 clone but you can have your armor markings be whatever you want, they would just stay green.
does EA pay you in battlefront pay2win loot boxes to defend every part of the game or something?
Thank you for #ChoosingASide! 200 credits have been deposited to your account.
Because they were lazy and could make a character using existing stat cards? Which they did? Because that's what they did?
Ah didn't play the last one aside from the beta didn't know he was added as a DLC character in the last one, I see.
Finn wasn't in the original iirc Only OT era was available, the closest we got to that was a Jakku map set shortly after Return, and a Rogue One set. They found out John Boyega is a fan and brought him in. Racial diversity like you say isn't very valid as the reasoning though, we already had Lando and thanks to a bug that didn't get fixed forever he was the most powerful man in the game What Zeos is talking about is that Finn shares the same gameplay base as a different hero, so he was easy to make.
We were talking about Bossk I believe.
you mean you were talking about racial diversity for a Trandoshan? [editline]10th November 2017[/editline] I'm speechless
you mean you were talking about racial diversity for a Trandoshan? [editline]10th November 2017[/editline] I'm speechless
He said he was recycled and I looked it up and he was part of the last game, I was unaware as I didn't play much of the previous one. And no I was talking about racial diversity in general in the game because one of the main thing people wanted in the Star Wars games was to be able to play some of the other alien races in the game hell some people are asking for Jar-Jar, some of the mods in the original BF 2 allow for a diverse race selection and people would like to see that in the new one that is what I was referring to? I don't understand why is everyone so quick to hostility these days when they don't understand what someone is meaning to say, if you misinterpret something try and see if it can be explained differently so you get what someone is trying to say... it's like your turning my "racial diversity" comment into a real world discussion and I am talking game world terms... lol yes racial diversity for a Trandoshan I mean they are a different species so wouldn't that count? ("It's very common -- specially in fantasy and science-fiction -- to use race instead of species.") So if I was misunderstood I apologize.
Pre-load is up on Origin. ~55 gigs. Makes me glad to have glorious Swedish internet speed.
If they're concerned with having melee / saber characters they could have just included Padme and Jango boom 2 non-saber characters not hard. Both can just be simple reskins of Leia and Boba.
I'm still on the fence whether I want to buy in or not I still don't like the progression system or the lootbox system they have in place I don't mind lootboxes but the way they do theirs isn't to great. I mean it's some good Star Wars fun and the maps are gorgeous and seeing a jedi shred through people is always a nice sight.
I really hope they change everyone getting the same amount of credits after a match to having it based on contribution and skill. Some guy who gets 1000 score shouldn't get the same amount of credits as me when I have 15000 score. Also this current method allows for semi-afking/botting to farm credits.
No it wouldn't? Armour is also tied to the role and what year of the war you're in. You wouldn't see Phase 1 clone armour on Kashyyyk for example.
Yeah but you also didn't see guys running around with the regular armour on except for the commander. Seriously go back and watch any of the kashyyyk battle sequences, they all had the clone scout trooper armour on except for one guy. So your whole like "the way the game is now is more authentic" argument is flawed as fuck tbh. [t]http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o226/General_Fidelis/Kashyyyk REF/hist_scout06a.jpg[/t][t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/0/0d/Clone_Scout_Trooper_01.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20070101181530[/t][t]https://lumiere-a.akamaihd.net/v1/images/kashyyyk-bio-2_c4684bce.jpeg?region=0%2C0%2C1280%2C720[/t] Honestly it is incredibly lame that they didn't put in any Trooper/Soldier customisation, they could've easily had a system ala Rising Storm 2 where they had individual customisation for each faction and kept the choices relatively accurate, different helmet/accessory options and different races for the rebels/resistance. And with the way they have implemented different legions of clones atm is incredibly fucking lazy, literally the only difference between clones on different maps is the colour of their markings and their marking pattern aren't even different except for class. Legit one of the coolest things about the prequels was some of it's armour designs and for the most part they completely threw all the variations for different units and regiments out of the window for this game. [t]http://www.starwarshelmets.com/2009/RotJ_YWing_Orig03.jpg[/t][t]https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/d/de/Arvel-crynyd.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120113223349[/t][t]https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/f/f4/ATATpilot-DB.png/revision/latest?cb=20160126031822[/t][t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aS-7Mk78Pv4/WO2a20DdCgI/AAAAAAAABPY/b2-fs4Y2ERstJTBDI8bgkg45nZtlfkH3ACK4B/s1600/scene00155.jpg[/t] Having the monetised aspect be star cards instead of strictly cosmetics honestly reeks of laziness and greed, because of-course people are going to be more inclined to buy game-play enhancements when they're getting fucked on in-game by people who already have them.
Why isn't Ja rJar playable? I honestly think he'd be kinda fun to play as.
There are other clone legion paint schemes in the files, probably will be used in future content. Including the camouflage seen on the scouts.
anyone have any idea who these guys are? [t]https://i.imgur.com/spTIC1I.png[/t] in the files as "glebgang"
Gleb is a character from the Inferno Squad novel, so I assume it is related to him. [editline]10th November 2017[/editline]
So your whole like "the way the game is now is more authentic" argument is flawed as fuck tbh.
I never said it was perfect.
I agree. [editline]10th November 2017[/editline] One of the Rebel Aliens is Prune Face :v:
Decided to try the trial because fuck it. Having lots of fun but I hate not being able to choose what map to play. How is that going to work when new maps come out anyway? Unless you join/disconnect over and over, you'll have to play up to 22 matches before getting to the new stuff.
Because having choices is bad
Because having choices is bad
remember, the publisher always knows better than the player what's fun
If people are wondering whos buying microtransactions from EA the answer is these people
Another question. If I pre-load the Digital Deluxe Trooper Edition and then subscribe to access, do I get to instantly play the trial, or do I have to download it again?

Can I buy the game now and play the full campaign in the trial or do I actually need to wait until the release? The message after you clear the first 3 missions wasn't really clear on that.
Can I buy the game now and play the full campaign in the trial or do I actually need to wait until the release? The message after you clear the first 3 missions wasn't really clear on that.
you need to wait until release.
Some heads-up for whoever is going to log into Star Wars - The Old Republic till November the 29th to unlock Darth Hexid as a companion: 1) The three LFG activities you need to complete must be activities that are currently eligible for a daily reward. You can't clear three Veteran mode flashpoints in a single day and get the related achievement, for instance. 2) Once you unlock the achievement, you'll have to wait till the event's expire date anyway to actually get Darth Hexid. I guess I'll keep the game installed till then. To be perfectly honest with you, playing this game these days feels me with sadness and disappointment more than anything else

Yet there's still people that call EA's star card system a fair system just because the highest tier cards are unlocked in game, this douchebag is going to have a serious advantage at launch just because he can spend 2K on in-game currency
