Got some amazing talent over there hot damn.
I liked the tie fighter segments I played on Battlefront 2 when I was at my friends, I guess it goes down hill from there? Reminded me of rogue squadron, what I would give for a new one.....
Frostbite doesn't do hair well [t]https://i.imgur.com/tBZuQlj.png[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/q5iVoEi.png[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/phOSvfn.png[/t]
Got et. Much more exciting than how they did it in the last game. No points though? At least it affects the match, making it much more difficult for them to take the next point when the hangar door isn't blown open.

[editline]21st November 2017[/editline] I've been playing this on PS4, but is it just me or are the servers virtually dead half the time? The game was busy af for the first two or so days, but it's like the entire playerbase dropped off.
God this game has some serious balance issues. Either you're pretty much wiping the enemy team out, or the enemy team is wiping you out. It's either one or the other. And every match basically ends in under 30mins leaving me with a horrible taste in my mouth like I didn't get enough action or tense moments in the game. It's basically "Either you plow through and break their defense quickly, or you don't and the game ends in 10 minutes" There's no second chance, second wave of attack, prolonged games, back & fourth etc etc. Like I don't even really care if this means increased credits. It just makes every game incredibly annoyingly quick, like some kind of COD match. I really fucking hate that. It's like the worst parts of Battlefield were somehow amplified and concentrated into this game. Like did they learn anything from those previous game franchises? Does anyone at DICE/EA even play their own games? Like I have this mental image of them hiring testers who are just a bunch of "yes workers" who just enjoy their job and have nothing critical to say about the game or anything unless it's a bug or something.
the amount of lag today was atrocious
Got et. Much more exciting than how they did it in the last game. No points though? I've never seen an Imp team win. I myself was apart of an Imp team that managed to keep the walkers are 94 HP. 100 Tickets to take both points. We took one. And then we couldn't take the last point no matter what. Rebels has such a good spawn and could shoot out of the hanger with ease meant that we got stonewalls at most points because the moment we start capping rebels can file a guy on there and continue to contest as more file in. That being said if you capture said point you're probably gonna have 50-60 tickets left to get TO BLOW UP THREE MORE POINTS, WHICH THE REBELS AGAIN HAVE VERY SHORT SPAWNS AND CAN FILE IN AND DEFUSE. Just about every map favors defenders with the rare exception of DS2 and Endor. DS2 is the best map bare none because defenders and attacks aren't favored heavily. Endor is okay but it favors the defenders the first stage and then it drops off. Yavin is a fucking joke, all Sequel Maps are fucking Resistance heavy so good luck even winning them with out a team that's comprised of players on point and the TR having nobody that can shoot. Because no matter HOW bad your fucking team is as Resistance you can beat a good FO team any day on Jakku and Takadona. Starkiller Base is the most "balanced" Sequel map because defenders can mount a good defense. How ever if attackers swing momentum they can spawn lock FO behind doors for an easy win. Kamino fucking sucks for droids phase 2, Kashyyyk is just badly designed to where it's the last point decided who wins or looses. Theed is a cluster fucker.
Lol [sp]the whole sequence when Iden and Del just switched sides was stupid as hell. Just going around murdering the people you were allied with 10 minutes ago[/sp] [editline]18th November 2017[/editline] Also the [sp]super loyalty they show towards Leia in a matter of hours, calling her 'your higness' and what not[/sp]
Coming in late because I only got the game last night but [sp]I've reached the part where you play as Han and I just don't care anymore. I thought it was going to be a game about Inferno Squad. Them defecting was predictable, which doesn't make it happening any less disappointing, but the real insult is how quickly everything happens. You play a couple Imperial missions (which so far have been the most enjoyable, dick around with bugs as Luke, then play one more imperial mission before you are flying X-Wings and helping Leia set up the new Republic all within about 3 hours.[/sp] I don't know what the rest of the plot is going to be like but I really would have liked to have [sp]played as Inferno for all or most of the game, maybe having them defect towards the end.[/sp] The campaign starts strong and I love how a DICE game finally put in an all-range mode freeform plane level but it drops off fast. [editline]21st November 2017[/editline] I've read posts talking about how [sp]Iden's sudden betrayal of her ideals was dumb but I don't think that's the problem. I think the problem is Operation Cinder being prequel-levels of poorly explained horseshit. As far as I can gather the attack on Vardos is supposed to be a false flag to spread fear that makes the Empire look strong? If the people the galaxy know its the Empire than that defeats the entire point. Why not use the weapons on Naboo immediately? Hell, deploy them to Coruscant if you want a true scorched earth policy. And if the people of the galaxy don't know then it makes the Empire look weak because one of their stronghold worlds just got fucked up. Iden is perfectly rational for betraying her father and the Empire because their plan (and the plot) are stupid[/sp]

It is very poorly explained in the game, read this http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Operation:_Cinder[/sp]
Seems like today's update made the game worse rather than better. Takes longer to find a game now, more than likely doesn't put me in a full one, UNLOCKED STAR CARDS OR WEAPONS CANNOT BE EQUIPPED. Is this a joke?
Here are the patch notes https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/discussion/83395/star-wars-battlefront-ii-release-notes-patch-0-2#latest [editline]21st November 2017[/editline]
Seems like today's update made the game worse rather than better. That stuff is handled server side, so it was probably lag.
A ton of people are reporting them broken ingame. Check Reddit.
In a match or in the main menu?
In a match, issues people are having are as followed (from what I've heard from people ingame): - Star Cards and unlocked weapons can't be equipped ingame at all. - 327 Disconnects are happening a LOT more frequently for people. - Kashyyyk is apparently the only GC map in rotation. All I know so far from playing.
seems to be server side, cards work fine in arcade
What are notes for the update?
I posted them last page
The people who designed Kamino need to be fired
So these shitheads finally make an update and it does zilch to fix the fucked progression?
So these shitheads finally make an update and it does zilch to fix the fucked progression?
It was just bug fixes. I believe one of the Devs said balance passes would be every 2 weeks or so. Removing the crystals seems like a very last minute decision, I wouldn't expect anything related to progression to happen for a few weeks. It isn't something they can do over night.
Problems gonna snowball and irreparably damage the game the longer they sit on it It already seemed dead when I queued the other day
GA and SA I'm finding people, the smaller game modes seem to have less.
Fixed an issue where the player’s saved data would be erased if starting the game with no controllers connected.
How the hell was that even an issue in the first place.
Try{ waitFor.controller[0].buttonpress('x'); }catch(Exception e) { Db.execute("Drop tables 'playerdata'"); //If you can't afford a controller you shouldn't be playing our game lol }
:pcrepair:
How the hell was that even an issue in the first place.
That isn't the first time I've read of an issue like that on a console game. I can't remember what game it was, but I could of sworn I've read of a similar bug before.

How does one get involved with being an activist for this sort of thing? I'm interested in drumming up home state

The process takes like 3 minutes.
