This game grows more asinine by the day. Nothing infuriates me more than seeing someone achieve enough points to play a hero less than 10mins into the match and then go on a killing spree before anyones able to spawn in anything to counter. Why should people who are already doing well and kicking ass, basically get rewarded to do well and kick ass even more with special powers? The only times I've ever been a hero were basically near the end of the match during the last 2-3mins and that's during a good match.... Why can't they just design a system where everybody gets to be a hero at least once in every match regardless of skill level? The games already unbalanced enough as it is, throw another log on the fire for fucks sakes.
Eh, I'd rather something like that stay merit-based. You could probably alleviate it better by making objective and support points worth as much if not more than killing points. That way the guy actually doing the objectives is rewarded instead of the person with the high KD.
Depending on the game mode, doing the objective does grant you more points then killing people.
I was able to keep pace with top ranks in starfighter assault solely by blasting the objectives and turrets as hard as possible

Assault class is actually pretty good if you're a good shot. I'm enjoying that class more than any other the LIUV is also hilariously powerful on Starkiller Base, if you catch the enemy team when they're not paying attention you can basically mow them all down all at once if they group together
So I've only played Heroes vs Villains so far (about 55 hours in it now :v:) and I was adamant on han being the best hero side character. But holy cow Chewbacca is insane.
I think Palpatine is my favorite he is so op
I play Rey and Kylo pretty exclusively, while blasting Ep 7 soundtrack on my speakers. I just played as Rey and had a blast.

Has anyone else on PC been experiencing unbearable lag and rubberbanding lately? It's made matches unplayable for me. Between the grind for credits and kills for weapons, the horrid lag, bugged milestones and EA being overall shitty I'm losing a lot of drive to keep playing this game :disappoint:

Try finding another match. Works for me. Speaking of grinding for weapons, trying to get the CR-2 was really annoying for me. Not because the kills required is too high but because the base Assault weapons are so incredibly bad in every way. On the other hand it's totally worth it because the CR-2 with reduced recoil is ridiculous.
Hm, Han Solo on the official website for BF2 is wearing his ANH/ROTJ outfit, but in game the only options are the ESB and Single player outfits. The ANH outfit also shows up in a shot of his gameplay video.
The first section of Starkiller base is so broken holy shit. All you need to do is get 800 points grab an A-Wing and shoot helpless troopers on the ground until the second phase where you can get 5-8 kills PER ATTACK RUN on the second objective - works especially well if enemy team has shit pilots.
Starkiller base is basically Farm points in an X/A wing against the AI Ties, stomp the player ties, then chain pull heroes.

Hopefully it'll come in the next patch. Seems easy enough to fix. Hoping to see some overall balance changes as well. Dice games are usually horribly balanced at launch but get better over time. Today, having played for about 40 hours I finally got to see the Imperial victory cutscene on Hoth.

Could easily be younger than that mind - both Luke and Rey were only 19 when they ended up with the Rebellion/Resistance. Also I'm glad we have confirmation that best boy Shriv returns. The rubberbanding that's been going on for the past couple days is horrendous, can barely even play at all. I feel like I should honestly just try to refund it at this point, it's a complete debacle.

I've lost rounds of SKB because the two guys in the AWing and XWing wanted to shoot the AI. Imagine our surprise when FO was able to swarm points instead of being forced back by air cover.
