Question : Why did they gave Iden an [sp]X-Wing, and not an A-Wing that would work closer to an actual TIE. Or why not a cool ass modified TIE like sabine's from Rebels? Such a missed opportunity...[/sp]

I know Lego Star Wars isn't exactly topical right now, but I was playing around with making some mods with it yesterday and created one that vastly improves the game.
[editline]26th November 2017[/editline] Vader in EA BF1 and BF2 is voiced by the same guy who voiced him in TFU1 and 2. So why does it sound so much worse? He sounded fine in TFU.

He sounds better in Battlefront 2, but if he still sounds off I guess it could be voice acting direction? The modulation sounds better to me this time around at least.
I found a youtube channel with a few voice comparison videos, they came out in 2015 so might be missing some
Lawrence sounded pretty good in the original Battlefront 2, better than the TIE Fighter version in the vid

Matt shows a lot more emotion though.

Let's be fair, have you heard Luke's voice in this game? It's fucking awful.
it annoys me to no end that the troopers aren't all voiced by temuera morrison [editline].[/editline] i know they were voiced by dee bradley baker in the clone wars series but his voice doesn't do it for me like temuera's does
probably cheaper this way too.
IIRC someone (Baker himself? I forget) was pestering DICE to use Baker as that's who most people would be attached to, due to the Clone Wars show (which had far more clones talking than the movies ever did) A damned good decision, IMO; and the two sound similar enough that they're believable as clones anyways
for me personally there's a weird disconnect in hearing the animated clone's voices spoken from realistically rendered clones. I also would have preferred Morrison, or even the way the voices were done in the original Battlefront 2, but I can see why that's an unpopular opinion
Let's be fair, have you heard Luke's voice in this game? It's fucking awful.
Matthew Mercer did Luke and Kylo
Yeah and he sounds like fucking neither of them, especially not Luke
I think BF2 Kylo sounds fine with his mask is on. It filters his voice enough. [editline]26th November 2017[/editline]
IIRC someone (Baker himself? yeah but then I can't see adam driver's face
yeah but then I can't see adam driver's face
You actually want to see his face?
you best not be talking shit about Adam [editline]26th November 2017[/editline] a lot of kylo's best scenes were without a helmet
you best not be talking shit about Adam [editline]26th November 2017[/editline] a lot of kylo's best scenes were without a helmet
I agree, I was just surprised to see someone else like him without the mask. We're the minority it seems.
His face is fine but the helmet and the voice effect are badass
I agree, I was just surprised to see someone else like him without the mask. We're the minority it seems.
When I first saw the still of him in the snow with the snowtroopers from way back I thought he looked fucking weird but after seeing TFA and his other work I really like him and enjoy having the option of playing him without a mask. He's also one of the few Star Wars actors that lived locally to me, the only other I can think of is Jake Lloyd.
By the look of things, hes going to spend most of TLJ without his mask.
He spent most of Logan Lucky without it too which is nice
I think it might have been Sam Witwer.
It was definitely Witwer, the guy that voices Maul these days.
He also voices Palpatine.
