They have the A280 and Leia's pistol on there (it is the first one on the list) Or do you mean Battlefront? Battlefront's A280 is the A295 But instead of just naming it that, they just put a letter on it for somereason.
I was listing weapons not in EAfront that appeared in the OT
I was listing weapons not in EAfront that appeared in the OT
Ah ok.
not disputing any of the other points tho
What fucking sense does that ending make? It looks like he's intentionally pulling the saber, so why [sp]does he impale himself on it? Also, pretty blatantly copying the spiderman ending. [/sp]
well, no, actually, IMFDB is lacking -Defender (Leia gun) -DL-18 -DL-21 -DT-12 -A280 (the one built off of the AR-15) -Relby-V10 -Relby K-23 -W-90 -DL-57/Power 5/Model 44 (more or less DL-44s with small cosmetic differences, but the T-21B is a thing so who knows) -X-30 Lancer -regular DLT-20A
"regular DLT-20A" We never saw it fire in the movies AFAIK, so for all we know it does work like it does in Battlefront. Could the Relby V10 be the grenade launcher Star Card?
no, the pulse cannon was explicitly noted as a completely different weapon reusing the 20A's chassis and all of the launchers have way too wide barrels and other features (notably the optics on the missile launchers and the ladder sight on barrage GL) that distinguish them from the v10
not disputing any of the other points tho
The ending doesn't mean the entire thing is bad. Besides, what i meant was that it had a campaign mode with an actual progressing story, rather than just missions with a vague backstory or brief 'setting' stuck on.
"regular DLT-20A" We never saw it fire in the movies AFAIK, so for all we know it does work like it does in Battlefront. Could the Relby V10 be the grenade launcher Star Card?
we saw the dlt-19 though, i can't imagine the dlt-20a being anything more than what it is in the game, same shit but slightly better and with a scope. oh wait, i just looked up what the dlt-20a is. that's ig-88's gun, he has it in empire strikes back.
It looks far better (In terms of gameplay) than the Battlefront we got.
as much as i dislike battlefront EA, I think you'd be crazy to think that the footage we've seen is a better game just off the bat. I think it shows promise and potential for a better game, but it really doesn't look that good. [editline]21st January 2016[/editline]
What's wrong, guys? Weren't the old Battlefronts boring as hell, with boring armies and boring classes?
what
They looked more like a Battlefront game at least, with the wider field of battle and combined-arms gameplay.
That's what I mean.
not disputing any of the other points tho
This was just a small part of the bigger cutscene and what X1 the one with tattoos was trying to do was kill X2 with his light saber but X2 sensed it and jumped out of the way and it impales him and than he falls in lava. But if you ask the very uneducated they will tell you this isn't even from SWBF3 and it's from Elite Squadron cause they know they've played it, it got so bad on my video there in the comments i just gave up all together on trying to tell them otherwise cause people will believe what they wanna believe and once they've made up their mind it's hard to tell them otherwise or show them proof. If you ever get to play the Pre-alpha released it was very much just SWBF2 with space to ground and that's what Free Radical was wanting to do until they thought hey we can do something better and they went back in and kept space to ground conquest pretty much the same but made a game mode that added in tons of capital, frigate and destroyers in the atmosphere or space and instead of taking over control points to gain points you took out the ships and enemies to gain those points and in that mode you could enter and take over ships but you must capture the hanger CP first or you can't do that. But you know i really get tired of people saying this looks and runs bad based on a pre-alpha, the reason it looked so bad was cause it was being made on pc until Lucasarts told them to stop working on it and make the xbox 360 version their main focus and than port it over to the ps3 and pc, so they did a very rough port of their pc build to the 360 and the texture streaming code from the game to the 360 wasn't even no where finished that's why the textures start out looking so bad when it starts out.
Well if you ask BananaSwag he'll tell you i don't cause he got pretty mad at me when i didn't give it to him so he tried taking down my youtube channel by claiming copyright on some of the SWBF3 videos i had on there (funny how he didn't really need to prove he is the copyright holder for star wars to have youtube take down the videos and make me almost lose my channel). An if you ask HandZeno on Reddit he will say the same as well. But i have proven many times on here and my on youtube channel i have a more complete version of the game otherwise i wouldn't of been able to extract the assets i did so easily.
sooo you should totally release the game privately to us and nobody else.
sooo you should totally release the game privately to us and nobody else.
That won't last long. One word gets out and everyone will have it.
That won't last long. One word gets out and everyone will have it.
well, i mean, he could give the link to only trusted people who wouldn't break it out of here, or just do like a 3-day free-for-all and then never again.
Or you can all respect the man's wishes. It's a fucking videogame
Even if it's never released, it's cool to know there's an extant pc version.
Or you can all respect the man's wishes. It's a fucking videogame
Ah well there is a few people atm trying to dispute my claim that i even have it and their only doing it cause i wouldn't give it to them, so now they are trying to spread lies to people that i don't. But the best part is this is the internet and i don't have to prove anything to anyone if i don't want too.:freakout: Yes it would be easier for me to just show full on proof of me having it but i don't need too.
I don't know what's more pathetic; that they're spreading lies to get back at you, or that they care that much about it in the first place.
Or you can all respect the man's wishes. It's a fucking videogame
This statement kind of goes both ways. Yeah, it's just a videogame. But still, it's just a videogame. Hence why it shouldn't be such a big deal to share it with other people. There's nothing to gain out of keeping it to oneself other than to watch everyone squirm as they beg for it. I'm pretty sure I saw him say something like he wasn't involved in development, just ended up getting his hands on the copy. Which means it's unlikely he is bound by some NDA EA or Disney could get back at him with. Even so, it would be that easy, all he has to do is say he signed something that would put him in serious legal trouble if he released it, but instead he avoids saying why he won't give it to anyone and boasts about how he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. I don't really care much about it, I played the original Battlefront and enjoyed it, I think I only played a little bit of BF2. I'm okay with the series having died there. I'm looking at this situation from a non-biased view mostly, and it seems like both sides are being ridiculous. On one side, you have people begging for something and desiring it so much to the point of spreading lies (big deal? honestly though) because they can't have it. On the other hand, you have someone who possesses something a large community desires, could share it with just a few clicks, but won't because he enjoys teasing them (otherwise he wouldn't have made youtube videos and whatnot). It's like I said earlier, the number of people with the PC build is probably in the single digits. The odds of one of those people being someone who doesn't enjoy feeling superior to other people and didn't sign something legal preventing them from sharing it is low.
If he got it through official means like he said, leaking it would cause problems even if there isn't an NDA. He could lose important ties or connections. Just leave the guy alone. If he doesn't want to release it, he doesn't have to. Its weird seeing people act like little kids trying to force someone to give them something they want. (I don't mean you Maverick)

What i've seen looks like a far better Battlefront game than what we got. Space to Ground Combat, both eras, classes, focus on third person, lots of heroes, a full story, galactic conquest mode, a variety of different vehicles, weapons and species, several different planets etc. It looked as if it was going to have all the features of the previous games and improve on them as well. I haven't seen anything to suggest they were going to leave out a huge amount of content from the game series with it, it was clearly based on the previous games, which is how a new Battlefront should have been. Pretty much a remake of Battlefront 2 with some improvements would have been great.

My point is that the game could totally have been a pos to play and that even by 2008 standards it could've been really dated.
That's all potential and promise. My point is that the game could totally have been a pos to play and that even by 2008 standards it could've been really dated.
That doesn't really make much sense, we've seen gameplay of it and we've seen those things in the game. There could have been other things that made the game bad, but there hasn't been anything to suggest that. There's no reason to believe it would have been bad to play or dated. Based on just what's currently known about it, it would have been a better Battlefront game than the one we got recently. My point was that it looks like an upgraded version of the previous games, which was how it should have been.
Well from what I've seen, the biggest differences from 3 to 1&2 are Space-Ground and an actual story mode instead of just a bunch of maps strung together with a loose narrative. [editline]22nd January 2016[/editline] Other then that it looks to play the same as 2

I like Free Radical's vision but whenever I look at the footage, I can't help but feel like it would've been an underwhelming title. The fact that the build we know is the one that was "99% done" is a little off putting, it just doesn't look that good.

Obviously there are some unfinished things there but it looks like an improved Battlefront 2, which is good. It's pretty clear the build isn't "99% done", where did you hear that?
The ridiculous 99% figure is parroted everywhere. I'm not sure where it came from but from all the footage that's been posted it's patently untrue. Either that, or the game that Battlefront 3 would have been would have been tremendously buggy, janky, and poorly optimized.
I just reinstalled Battlefront II and Jedi Academy. Since the filefront sites are gone, where do I get all the good mods for these two? I used to have lots of mods for these, but I cant find a site with all the same stuff.
I don't know what's more pathetic; that they're spreading lies to get back at you, or that they care that much about it in the first place.
The lies. Caring about it is natural. It's something millions want that one has and flaunts to those millions. Even former devs who spent years of their lives on it want it to be leaked so it wasn't all for nothing. Even people who don't want the game would want to get it just to get it to the p pole who do. The wound is just reopened by this leak and now his name is being passed around which is why he's getting a surge of people urging him to change his pov. It's unfortunate this kind of opportunity only opens to people who will never take it. Just look out for Bothans, Corra.
