The arcade credit boost is nice but I still don't know why there is a limit.

To stop "grinding"
[editline]4th December 2017[/editline]
The TX-130 Republic tank is still referenced in a single file of the game.
Everything else in that file is still used in game, nothing else is out of place.
to stop "fun"
how much do you get in HvV now for being top?
Hopefully it's like 400-500 per, still not enough but that reduces the time to get a herocrate by at least 30%
So I discovered as Palpy if you are in the right position (i don't know how it works) you can literally shoot thru walls and kill people on the other side.
Was on Naboo and could kill people in their spawn because I could just put my face against the wall and shoot lightning through it and kill people - 100% safe from enemy fire.
Hello, just doing a quick survey to figure out the carbon cost of Battlefront 2, would appreciate it mightily if y'all could respond.

Once I am done with the calculations I will release the info to you guys.
God I just want to play this game and enjoy a dumb Starwars romp
I refuse because of obvious reasons but damn if I'm not happy about it.

Next week AFAIK.

The first challenge, at least for the first order, is to kill 50 players with each class in the next 42 days.
why is everyone picking first order... :(
I want to do resistance but not if the majority went FO so they'll probably win

Because the bad guys are more interesting, and many of us are bitter about the campaign bait and switch so we'll take being evil where we can get it :v:
Is the game worth playing for Star Wars shooting despite lootboxes and all?
Will I feel guilty playing this game?
It's killing me :v:
I was on the edge of getting the game but I just thought to myself I should just wait for a christmas sale or something, 2 secs later I decide to look at the origin store and wham, there's a 30 percent coupon right now. Sweet elite trooper edition for 60 bucks downloading the game right now.
God I never want to touch Specialist again I suck so hard at it.
better get that wallet out in a few weeks pal

Hm?
Microtransactions.
Though I wouldn't expect them back that soon, probably January.
wow the officer's S-5 is OP af...
i love it
I enjoy this game immensely but I need to get my STAR CARDS up.
Loving Officer, just not to sure how to get up there with the big boys. How are people getting so many good cards?

If you REALLY have to, just get the first EA Battlefront when they put it on sale near Christmas, it'll practically be a similar experience pretty much, but without the lootbox crap, like seriously, Battlefront 2 is a marginal upgrade at best gameplay wise, it doesn't change much but then you add in the fact that it has a significant downgrade with the lootbox based progression system, why bother, when it's predecessor will be on sale, you'll practically get the same experience and it'll be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper.
Or the original battlefronts, the originals are still massive heaps of fun.
[editline]edit[/editline]
Like seriously, you have so many options when it comes to Star Wars games, you could go back through them all and play those if you really want a fun star wars experience worth a damn, the Jedi Knight games or Jedi Academy as further examples, you get Star Wars shooting and significantly better lightsaber play, you don't have to buy into this bullshit predatory anti-consumer crap when you have so many options to the contrary that would reward you with a far better experience for much cheaper.
I still go back and try new mods on old BFII, really recommend it. Also Star Wars Galactic Battleground is a very underappreciated Age of Empires clone with a ton of factions, including Gungans and Wookies.
Problem is I've played them all, all the Academy games, Commando, KOTOR, all the Battlefronts were my childhood, and I played the last one too.
I have a love hate relationship with Star Wars where I go from despising it to rediscovering my childhood and needing more of it and I'm back into that square right now until the next spinoff movie gets made and the RLM review makes me hate it again.

It’s hardly marginal.

Then have some self-respect for said childhood, act like an adult and actually wait until they stop being shit heads completely.
Go replay one of those older star wars games or something.
It’s hardly marginal.
Is it though, I mean, the shoot is hardly better, like from what I've played of Battlefront 1 and what I've seen of Battlefront 2, they look like they play extremely similarly, like the only thing Battlefront 2 has over Battlefront 1 is Clone era stuff and classes, but "technically" Battlefront 1 had that, you were just practically every class already built into one, all of the time, either way it all evens out in my eyes anyway because of the lootbox system.
Which is not something that deserves investing in.
Microtransactions.

January is a few weeks away
[editline]5th December 2017[/editline]
look Battlefront 2's systems are fucking horrible, but to say that the core gameplay itself isn't a huge improvement is a bit much. That's how it got so much hype at beta. It was good and we weren't exposed to the worst of it.
how do they expect us to track some of the last jedi challenges?
like the get 50 kills for each trooper class one...
