I'm not sure what Lego games are normally like, but those characters seem really out of place with that background.
They're usually like that. Personally I think it'd be cooler if the levels were lego too, especially since parts of them are anyways, but I guess that wouldn't always be practical.
I'm not sure what Lego games are normally like, but those characters seem really out of place with that background.
That's how they've always been.

Starkiller base appears to have studs under its snow in that trailer. [editline]2nd February 2016[/editline] Have a wallpaper of the Lego'ized poster [t]http://i.imgur.com/Eg6cPLw.jpg[/t]
i'm mildly bothered by how they made a gag for every single scene but i guess that's just how it is
There are more screenshots here: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-br/games/lego-star-wars-the-force-awakens/cid=UP1018-CUSA03372_00-LEGOFORCEAWAKENS [t]https://store.playstation.com/store/api/chihiro/00_09_000/container/BR/en/999/UP1018-CUSA03372_00-LEGOFORCEAWAKENS/nsx/8193/1080753563[/t]
That HUD is interesting.
well, this is better than expected but what's the other announcement?
well, this is better than expected but what's the other announcement?
they might have meant Lego + Star Wars - both being big franchises
I'm not sure what Lego games are normally like, but those characters seem really out of place with that background.
There's that Lego Worlds early access game that models the entire map using Lego bricks, but LSW-style games always had "realistic" backgrounds.
they might have meant Lego + Star Wars - both being big franchises
yeah this just occurred to me. ah well, i was hoping for the announcement of a second lego game as well, although wbi is just a publisher.

god fuckdamnit SWBF3 for 30€ on Origin and i'm out of money that's the price i'd be willing to actually pay for it
god fuckdamnit SWBF3 for 30€ on Origin and i'm out of money that's the price i'd be willing to actually pay for it
wait for a sale (probably will be one before paid content comes out), it will most likely be around the same or hopefully lower (also look into gmg or other sites for lower prices). also i'm hoping the cutscenes are to that level of detail, obviously pre-rendered and not necessarily in-engine or anything, but it would make a new standard for the lego games, which have all basically looked the same almost since they started.
wait for a sale before content comes out, you'll feel better.
It's on a sale right now
aayup
It's on a sale right now
i see that. what i'm saying is, they will probably put it on sale again right before the dlc comes out. this is already like the third time it's been on sale since launch.
I hope a dlc/update adds B-Wings and TIE Defenders
I hope a dlc/update adds B-Wings and TIE Defenders
I can't see them using ships from outside the movies. B-Wings yes, Defenders no
maybe if defenders get shown in rebels, but otherwise don't count on it. according to wookiepedia though, it's canon since it's in star wars commander. i wasn't aware that the tech in that game was considered canon.
Fine print on the box art says exclusive until November
last time WB pulled that shit they lied, the adam west costume never came to PC batman [editline]2nd February 2016[/editline]
maybe if defenders get shown in rebels, but otherwise don't count on it. according to wookiepedia though, it's canon since it's in star wars commander. i wasn't aware that the tech in that game was considered canon.
It is. The virus in Death Troopers is also canon due to that. [editline]2nd February 2016[/editline] Has anyone here ever owned the CE for swtor? wondering what part of the box the code for the vendor is in... Thinking of buying sealed parts such as cases or CD sleeves to get the CE code... no idea where it'd be in the box though.

It is based on the movies
It's most strongly borrowing designs from ROTJ, but things like Shock Troopers and such and the Jakku battle prove that it's mostly just about the canon galactic civil war, and not precisely the films themselves.

Honestly since the base game is so heavily based on the movies, I wouldnt be surprised if the DLC has more out there or fringe canon things.
