Considering that these are both fairly "nothing" characters, i hope that means a huge final roster.

Some fun statistics before we get into details: * We have added over 1,000 IP’s to the white list on the server. * There have been 400 unique accounts created in the past week. * I have personally reset 90 passwords (thanks for coming back). * Dark has pulled 5 nights without sleep this month. * Staff is really excited to engage with the community in game. Preparation for Launch: Starting with Logging Into The Server Staff would like to go over a few simple steps that you need to follow in order to be able to successfully log into the game on Friday. Here are the steps: 1) Make sure that your Launcher is downloaded & up to date. Here is the link for installation 2) Make sure you get your IP added to the white list. Our server currently operates under a white list, so you need to do one of the following: 2A) Submit a ticket containing your IP Address. *For International Players, we will need your IP Range. Staff would prefer this option. 2B) Submit your name on this thread. 3) Staff will attempt to update the IPs every few hours. Please be patient after you submit your ticket. Once You’re In: In Game Rules Quick Sheet Please use your best judgment and remember the original rules from SWG. We have a system in place to make this as fair as possible. Our In game rules are here (Link) but this is the sparknotes version. 1) Don’t be a dick… it’s simple. 2) Please do not hide or bug your characters in the walls. Any character that is immune to Player vs Player combat via this exploit will be moved. 3) Character, item, city, guild, and structure names must be appropriate. This policy will be enforced at the discretion of the staff and senate. 4) Account violations will be strictly enforced. In game logs will be able to point out people violating this rule. 5) Do not farm quest npcs. 6) Please do not spam any chat system. This includes players, droids and vendors. *** IN GAME PUNISHMENTS WILL BE SEVERE. If the offense is minor, players will receive a warning. (We will always give you the benefit of the doubt the first few times.) If it’s major, players will receive a ban. Repeat offenses will result in strict punishments. This will be an extreme measure but we want to set in stone that we will not tolerate violation of server guidelines. ***Creating a Ghost/Multiple account will result in a ban & deletion of characters and items consisted in that account. We have coded new ways of detecting this. GM Accounts GM's will be under watch and accessible by a select group. We know who's on the accounts, what they are typing, and every item they spawn in (if any). Frogs have been disabled. Even if anyone tried to be crafty, it won't work. As of right now, there are 2 accounts that can spawn items. There are five accounts that can track items and players. The 5 accounts will keep eyes and ears on the two accounts. The logs to those two “spawn” accounts can be seen by five people. In short, there is a checks and balances system set to prevent any cheating. We have strict guidelines because we understand it's important to the community. We will absolutely not tolerate abuse of this power. Forums Changes: The Pre General Server Discussions and Pre Trade Forums are going to be removed since we are now on a live server. We will be replacing them with Legends (Live) forums. Two new social forums will be launching. 1)The “Cantina” that has become too controversial & negative is being demolished. It will be recreated in the near future with new guidelines. This new forum will be a fun place for people to socialize outside of the game. The same rules and moderation that apply to all the other forums will apply to the new Cantina. 2)There will be a new forum opening up called “An Unidentified Location” This forums will allow members to be a little more overt with their thoughts and ideas but will still be moderated. This is similar to what the cantina is now but with new rules. Chara & Maken will be creating this forum and the rules. In the future, we will be adding old SWG forum favorites such as GCW, Player Cities, and Events and Topics. Senate Program The Legends Senate Program is about to get a face lift. Starting this week, we will be moving the polls into archives and begin a new era of community involvement. We will ask the community to vote and elect members of their own to join the senate group. Please be aware that this person has to get along with Staff and Community. I doubt new vehicles will be separate DLC, they'll be part of the bigger packs if they do add any. But they have not shown or hinted at adding any.

A single player campaign based on FN-2187 time during training or something similar would be pretty boss.

So in terms of the whole 'canon' approach that EA is taking with Battlefront. Does this Tatoonie dlc take place after Return of the Jedi? As that looks like Jabba's Palace with a Rebel Transport. If so is Greedo 'canonically' still alive? Perhaps he is strong in the force.

I think they only meant that stuff in the game is canonical. Like weapons, places, characters, that kind of stuff. I mean already you can be Boba Fett on Endor, or Vader and the Emperor on Jakku.

Yeah, the people places and things in the game are canon, how the battles play out are not, obviously.

I hope the Death Star Pack adds Stormtrooper outfits for Luke and Han alongside Leia's princess outfit. Bespin pack will no doubt add Lando. I think Deathstar will add Ben. I reckon Chewie will be part of the free DLC they're always promising.

I don't actually know anyone that thinks towel head is cool. Bossk is neat but they seem to be avoiding trandoshans for whatever reason. Bossk's gun I done of the DLC items... Nien Numb though, he's little more than an easily recognizable background/side character. I wouldn't even know his name if this DLC wasn't announced. It's like if cloud city gave us Lando and Lobot.
