They also managed to hit R2, kind of, on Endor.
And Leia. Also kind of.
and even when they get there, Leia's execution is delayed so she can be used as bait.
No they didn't. They didn't even know what was going on until after the shootout started in the detention cell. Han and Luke just happened to arrive before her execution.

TARKIN: Terminate her. Immediately. *Cuts back to Falcon, the "That's no Moon" scene, Falcon is brought into the Hanger* *Cut back to Tarkin* TARKIN: Yes? COMM: We've captured a freighter entering the remains of the Alderaan system. Its markings match those of a ship that blasted its way out of Mos Eisley. VADER: They must be trying to return the stolen plans to the Princess. She may yet be of some use to us. *Death Star Escape* *Cut to Tarkin and Vader* TARKIN: Are they away? VADER: They've just made the jump into Hyperspace. TARKIN: You're sure the homing beacon is secure aboard their ship? I'm taking an awful risk Vader. This had better work. When they arrived on the Death Star Vader decided she would be more use alive than dead.
Wonder what the meaning of Obi wan's sacrifice is then.. Did Vader think obi wan could warn them? Was it a personal vendetta? Or did Vader fear he'd be too much use to them? To make it seem legitimate? Finishing Order 66?
Maybe Obi Wan knew that his death would push Luke further in the direction of the Force [editline]12th April 2016[/editline] I think Obi Wan knew that his job was completed if he at least got Luke on the path to becoming a Jedi.
I meant Vader's motives, since he was letting them go. Of course obi wan's motive and standing there probably left Vader no choice, no way he could've let him runoff without looking fake as shit at that point
He probably still held a grudge against him since he felt betrayed by obi Wan. That's considering the prequels though, originally it was probably just him finally defeating his old master. [editline]12th April 2016[/editline] Like getting rid of one of the last things that tied him to his old life as a jedi
Even before the prequels, we knew that Kenobi dumped Vader in a volcano during their final fight, so Vader wasn't letting that old bastard go, no matter what the rest of the plan was.
Even before the prequels, we knew that Kenobi dumped Vader in a volcano during their final fight, so Vader wasn't letting that old bastard go, no matter what the rest of the plan was.
Yeah, there is an article, from the 80s I think, where Lucas reveals what happened to Vader.
You know when the sacrifice happened it was all mystical and shit sure, but come Return of the Jedi, Obi Wan would have been far more useful as a guy standing there deflecting blasters.
Well, I think Obi-Wan just knew he was going to lose to Vader no matter what he did, so the only thing he really wanted to do was make sure the others escaped. The moment he saw they were ready to leave, he opened his guard to be finished. I don't think there was a big plan, heck, doubt Obi-Wan even expected to run into Vader that day. Vader on the other hand probably figured that Obi-Wan would have known them to have a tracking beacon aboard, so by eliminating the one of the rebels most familiar with Vader's strategies (and in the same stroke get some revenge), killing Obi-Wan was the best course of action.

A 7 minute long video containing exactly one piece of trivia about the game itself, wow. Also, why plug images of that awful UE mod?
Ugh G2A
Is there a full version of the theme that plays when Han Solo spawns in Battlefront? What's that from?

And I hoped for Bossk or IG88
I wonder if theyll get Simon Pegg to voice Dengar
Dengar... not IG-88.

Not quite what I'd call iconic. [editline]whoah man[/editline] But seriously, this sounds promising:
We also have a couple of surprises in store that we know our fans have been looking for, especially those who have been clamoring for ways to have more options to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline. More to come soon.
"and even spend time in a carbonite chamber." I hope if you fall in you get frozen. [editline]13th April 2016[/editline]
Dengar... not IG-88.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was because hes taller then the other characters, or just the way they would need to animate him. [editline]13th April 2016[/editline] That means the Death Star expansion will probably have Bossk or IG-88. Should be IG-88 as a reference to that horrible EU story where he uploaded himself into the DS2. [editline]13th April 2016[/editline] What if the unannounced expansion is a tie into Rogue One? [editline]13th April 2016[/editline] Saw this exchange on reddit "But Pilots would look ridiculous and make no sense in the battlefield." "As opposed to helmetless, jetpacking stormtroopers with tusken raider rifles, which make perfect sense."
or maybe it will be IG-88, just to reference that dumb old Tales of the Bounty Hunters story where he uploads himself into the DS2
Speaking of Tales, it would be amazing, yet likely quite improbable, if they referenced the other Tales story where 4-LOM and Zuckuss become Rebel agents at the end by making them Rebellion heroes. I don't care what anyone else says, I loved that story.
Man force unleashed is fun at 90+ frames but the engine physics are tied to it being 30fps locked so it breaks fucking everything in both games Wish we'd have a modern equivalent, most of the lucasarts Star Wars games have not aged well unfortunately

Dark forces 2 is hard as balls though.

I feel that a majority of Star Wars game still hold up pretty well. The good far outweighs the bad.
Dark forces 2 is hard as balls though.
the Grenade guys are the worst. Also no autosaving.
