Question: if I use the free level 60 character token I got as a subscriber in the past, that character counts towards the "you cleared all the eight classes stories, here is your special portrait frame" achievement?
My goodness, playing through Battlefront 2 after all this time is a blast. Really makes me want to get the new one, even if everybody warns me against it. May the 4th is sort of an unofficial Star Wars hoopla day, isn't it? I wonder if the most recent Battlefront will go on sale.
Really makes me want to get the new one, even if everybody warns me against it.
Ok, i understand people being salty but people seriously warn against it? Christ get over yourselves people, get it, it's good.
my nigga is it actually worth playing on the server or what? how complete is it?
I'm playing on basilisk, as always it has the best community and at prime time theres about 1100 people on. Jump to Light Speed has been stated to be coming out "soon" but it's been like that for about a year now (i'd say it'll take about another year). I think they recently added some quests too but not all of them.

http://www.ea.com/news/celebrate-may-the-4th-with-star-wars-and-ea?sf46036992=1 star wars day updates for battlefront, swtor and even galaxy of heroes.
Battlefront Patch Notes http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront/forums/discussion/42148/star-wars-battlefront-may-client-update-ps4-pc-x1%23latest At the end there are comments on specific notes on why they made those changes.
Aw, I thought the jump-pack not working when the personal shield was active was deliberate. It seemed like a fair trade off to being invincible to almost everything. The rest of the patch looks good though.
I've just finished Capter XIII of Knights of the Fallen Empire on The Old Republic Maybe it's just me, but these chapters are becoming rather dull: I honestly just liked Vette coming back, some bit of Gault maybe and not much else And mind you, you are supposed to wait a full month for each chapter and subscribe too. Maybe it's time to leave again till they release the final chapter and we can call this a day
Shadows of the Empire is on GOG https://www.gog.com/game/star_wars_shadows_of_the_empire
On the topic of KOTFE, I want to say that those arena fights they added were actually fun. The most fun solo fights in the game, I think. That's not saying much, but it was quite a treat for me.
SOFE runs amazingly, and has widescreen support. Downside is the HUD doesn't scale, so its really tiny at 1080p. [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] SWTOR won't update for me, it sits at the launcher for a while and gives an error saying it couldn't connect. [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] Ah seems to be happening to everyone at the moment. [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] 8 minutes of Lego TFA footage http://ca.ign.com/videos/2016/05/03/8-minutes-of-new-lego-star-wars-the-force-awakens-gameplay-ign-first [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] Youtube link. The Space battle segments look amazing!
All the stuff on the collections tab in SWTOR is 50% off, so if those gold items that were 400cc for account unlocks seemed like a bit much its 200 now, lowest its gonna be if you dont know what collections is: Any time you get an item with the cartel market emblem of Bronze, Silver or Gold and bind it its added to collections - Here you can summon multiple, and spend CC to unlock it for your account. edit: so yeah if you got a bunch of CC saved up and a lot of locked collections nows probably the best time to get them till next year, I just spent like 3000 saved CC. Got the classic vibroswords, zakuul armor, thex robes just to name a few. [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] all my characters have enough for a zakuul false flag op now, blade master lightsaber, zakuul knight armor, even the speeder bike they rode briefly in the Aric chapter [editline]3rd May 2016[/editline] omg the zakuul knight speeder comes with headlights flourish
Battlefront is $25. Do enough people play it to justify?
Battlefront is $25. Do enough people play it to justify?
Probably going to be a small echo in the distance when Battlefield 5 drops.
Fuck, well at least there should be a small revival about time episode 8 comes around
Battlefront is $25. Do enough people play it to justify?
As long as I don't search for a match on a specific map, I don't have trouble finding games. But yeah, I guess that could change at any moment. I'd say it's worth it if you think the game looks fun enough. They've added three more maps and two weapons (no DLC required) since launch so there's more content now compared to when the game launched. They're going to add more options for offline play as well but they haven't specified what exactly.
I'm almost certain Dash Rendar's jump sounds in SOTE, is the same as Kyle's in Dark Forces.
Double XP in TOR until May 10th. Might be time for me to finally do all the Republic class stories and get that Legendary status.

Respawn making a 3rd person Star Wars game
A LETTER FROM STIG I’ve got a good feeling about this… We’ve all heard this story before. At 5 years old you see something beyond comprehension, an extraordinary fantasy that at first doesn’t seem real, but in time becomes inspirational law. The heroes, the villains, the visions, the sounds, the music, imprinted forever. Of course I am describing Star Wars™, the most influential franchise in modern history, and we at Respawn Entertainment are honored to have the chance to contribute to that legacy. I am happy to announce our partnership with Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm to deliver a whole new adventure to the galaxy.•• For me, just typing these words is surreal. I have been playing Star Wars games my whole life, now I get to make a Star Wars game. On top of that, I get to do it at Respawn, a studio comprised of the most talented collection of game makers, creators, visionaries, and (most importantly) advocates for the player, that I have had the good fortune to work with. And we, like you all, have no shortage of Star Wars passion. The entire company erupted in cheers when it was announced that this would be our next endeavor. But it’s not all fun and games — we promise to pay respect to the Star Wars legacy at all times, a fact that will be constantly reinforced and honored as a central game design tenet. Fans should expect the exemplary level of quality first established at Respawn with Titanfall, a game that epitomizes our studio’s dedication to slick, larger-than-life action and fun, groundbreaking mechanics. Moving forward, we couldn’t ask for a better universe in which to continue this journey, and although I would love to share all of the exciting places we are going, we have the following piece of information to divulge with you all today: We’ll be making a third-person action/adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Now, I understand on the surface this might sound a bit dry, but developing a game within the ever-expanding Star Wars universe opens up so many paths for us to go down, and an unparalleled playground to design within. We have already planted the seeds by assembling a small, but incredibly talented team, ready for the amazing journey that lies ahead. With this in mind we are looking to expand the dream. Do you want to join us on a journey to a galaxy far, far away? We are hiring in all departments. Looking back to 1977, I witnessed Star Wars unleash its magic on the big screen, forever changing me (little did I know how much at the time). The crazy thing is this magic doesn’t have a shelf life. Decades later I observed the same wonder in my kids’ eyes as they watched A New Hope. What a rarity, for a book, a film, or even a game to have that kind of impact, spanning several generations, even promising to continue into future ones. The opportunity to be a part of that is not something to take for granted. This is an opportunity that I, the team, and Respawn could not and would not pass up. This is the chance of a lifetime.
http://www.respawn.com/stig-blog/
Star Wars 1313 reborn?
Give it up, 1313 isn't coming back. [editline]4th May 2016[/editline] I hope what ever Viseral is working on will be announced at E3 [editline]4th May 2016[/editline] Wait, Respawn? The Titanfall guys? Ugh [editline]4th May 2016[/editline] A friend of mine is saying that Kotaku said Visceral is announcing their game today.

As there been anything new for Battlefront lately? I stopped playing like a month after I bought it.
As there been anything new for Battlefront lately? I stopped playing like a month after I bought it.
With the Outer Rim DLC and various free content updates (new Hutt Contracts like the DL-18 blaster pistol, DLT-19X, soon to be the Ion Neutralizer) they have sort've started to make a vague outline of "classes", especially with the new Bacta Bomb which has put a focus on healing your teammates and playing medic. Fighter combat is hilariously broken, with TIE Interceptors not worth a passing glance, and A-Wings with their ridiculously small hitboxes still rule the sky. It's still really not good. But it's definitely getting better. I'd give it another try, just to at least see what they've added.
A-Wings are still broken? Are you serious?
Fighter combat is hilariously broken, with TIE Interceptors not worth a passing glance, and A-Wings with their ridiculously small hitboxes still rule the sky.
The A-Wings have been given significantly larger hitboxes. I'm not sure how big they are compared to the tie-fighters but at least you can hit them now. The rebels still have the upper hand with their shields but I guess that's ment to be countered with the AT-STs working as anti air.
