If you're a male Inquistior, please change it to female. Her voice actor makes the class story and generally 99% of all interactions with character enjoyable. Male Inquisitor sounds pretty threatening and serious, while fem inquis has a near complete and utter sarcastic and dry sense to the she talks, almost makes the Inquisitor even more crazier than they actually are.
Let alone playing Lightside Inquisitor or Sith Warrior is just enjoyable because everyone thinks you're an evil assholes, when you're more of a pragmatic warrior. Literally lightsided female inquisitor is just a blast to play because the way the VA makes her seem bonkers. Funny enough think of like this for the Sith Warrior. All Sith fuel their power by anger,rage,passion,etc, now if you're lightsided SW you pretty much are neither angry or some dickhead, but everyone else around you is. Funny rationalization is that EVERYONE around dispises you because you're not really an actual Sith at all, but the end result is you feeding off the collective anger,rage, and other emotions of the Sith and Jedi who baffled by what the fuck you are.
only 30gigs? that's on par with black desert online.
I've heard stories of it being near 50-100 gig downloads, so not really sure there.

The download itself is smaller than when it's fully installed, so it's pretty much par for the course with today's games. Maybe even smaller

I loved the Agent storyline, good pacing and characters really set it up. Hell KOTFE seems almost like it's meant to be the Agent's story because 2 of their companions were chapter specific and plot intensive while everyone else is Alliance alerts so far.

While i'll never trust the developers (and i don't think anyone else should really) it's still sort of tempting to give it a try.
What's not to trust?
The developers from the original Reborn project had some huge issues with funds and corruption...
But Legends is kind of a rebuilt one of that. Their server is great. I've never had any lag or issues. There's nothing not to trust.
I say if you guys want to play, SWGLegends is a great place to do it. I'm still up for making a player city.

From what i've read there are more problems with it than just that, though: very long loading times for the server, just giving out everything right away, admin abuse (supposedly), taking a huge amount of time to get anything done etc. It doesn't seem like SWGLegends is genuinely a good place to play, it's just it's the ONLY place to play.

Fortunately there seems to be another project in development called SWG Winter. They've been working on it quietly for a few years so it's only just getting any attention, it has a TC server at the moment but unlike Legends pretty much all the content is there and working supposedly.

It's evident you haven't played recently.
Sure, they give every account a stupid one-time level 90... But I have 4 characters and have been levelling them all up manually.
Loading time for the server takes a while when they restart the server... but so did restarts back when the game was an official pay to play game. Loading into the game and server literally takes 3 seconds on my computer.
There are definitely going to be bugs when it comes to the gameplay, such as certain NPCs or quests not being correct or completable, but they have done a significant amount of work.
Oh, and that corrupt admin was immediately taken care of when the dev team found out.
I mean, you don't have to play, but it doesn't hurt to [B]try.[/B] I just want to play with the people here who 6 months ago were all ready to start a city and have fun.

I hate to break it to you, but this is hardly true. 'Winter' hasn't been in development for a few years, it's only been being worked on for the past several months (a few months before the swg masters repo was discontinued). The issues you see with legends aren't because of a lack of development effort or progress, its because of load and server stress. Winter doesn't experience much load or stress as their server peaks at about 40-some unique players a day (legends presently peaks at 560), so they don't get to see the issues that reveal themselves with stress.
I know it might be difficult to believe me, but I've been heavily invested in the SWG scene since the inception of ProjectSWG and have contributed to practically every large NGE project since, so I have a pretty good idea of what is going on.
By the way, if you find cases of admin abuse, I'd love to hear about it because everything is logged. Not sure where you're getting the idea that everything is just handed out either (unless you're talking about the veteran rewards/one level token per account reward, which I agree, is stupid).

I guess it's a bit misleading when I say a few months, since its relative to when the masters repo was discontinued. It's been in development for maybe 7 months or so? Maybe 8...
To answer the question regarding the difference in progress, it can be summarized as the following: Cekis (practically the only developer behind Winter) left SWG Reborn about a year ago (or so) and began to work in secret. Cekis began to merge his work into the masters repo (a public repo for swg, based on linux). The maintainer of the masters repo noticed this and asked Cekis to work in private with him (the maintainer isn't a code contributor, just, maintains repo). Cekis merged the rest of his work into private repo and continued to work on it in new secret repo (aka winters).
Back on the public front, SWG Reborn died due to drama causing several months of work and progress to be lost and SWG Legends started all over because people didn't keep Reborn's progress (so everything Reborn did had to be done again), so while Cekis continued to work in private, you had SWG Legends dealing with lame staff and drama. Now that drama and lame staff have been dealt with, development has taken priority and began to advance rapidly.
This is still a pretty bad summary, but it's about as accurate as I can give you without writing a book.

It's two of the multiplayer modes made offline. I'm hoping they add more modes as time goes on. Sounds pretty much like instant action, though.

Consoles and PC get it the same time. Consoles get splitscreen, while PC uses the existing partner thing like the missions.
