I knew I would get the death star dlc, but this is better than I expected. Given the map size and detail capabilities of frostbite 3, I expect half the station to be modeled.

Based on leaked footage according to someone on reddit, the first phase of the Death Star DLC is in the ring system of a planet. Might be Geonosis, that is where the Death Star was built in the new canon.

I believe it's meant to be near Yavin.

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but it's really neat. It really makes me nostalgic of Jedi Knight Academy and all the fan maps/mods of that community. I really hope we get another. I'm so heartbroken without it.

That map reminds me of movie battles 3, which was being made in unreal.

But according to Rebels the Death Star was gone from Geonosis by 4BBY. Eh rule of cool I guess. Kind of nice seeing the planet though. [editline]14th September 2016[/editline] Bossk is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced him in Clone Wars.

The expansions all take place in the OT era though [editline]14th September 2016[/editline] Why am I arguing canon about a game where nothing you do ever happened in the movies. Bring on this DLC.

Remember when the droids won the Battle of Naboo, and when Darth Vader aided the Empire in taking out a Rebel cell in Mos Eisley as they searched for the droids? Neither do I.

Couldn't you also have the Republic fight the Empire in quick battle or whatever it was called?

Neither do I.[/QUOTE] There's a difference between things like that which are due to the gameplay and the entire premise of the Death Star map not even slightly making sense in the first place. It's not as if setting this at the correct time in the correct location would have made any actual difference to the gameplay for this.

I do like how they changed the Heavy Repeater and Bryar Pistol designs to look more 'real' using parts from real life guns.

The Bryar and Repeater showing up as main weapons makes me think. Like usually Battlefront only has canon weapons show up as main weapons with the other weapons being star cards. Wonder if they're gonna be showing up in some piece of canon material.
