Are there any rebalance mods for KOTOR 1 that make blasters viable?

Oh yeah I know I've just sorta felt like replaying KOTOR 1's story. I was just wondering if any mods rebalanced it to be more like KOTOR 2 is all.

Except I still had to pull out my laser stick anytime something with a red lightsaber showed up.

George Lucas wanted Talon to be friends with Maul, so they changed the story to fit that. Same thing happened to 1313, it wasn't about Boba Fett, then Lucas came in and said 'hey, make it about Boba Fett' No one wanted to say no to George.

After hearing about all the shit that was going to be in it, I'm glad it got cancelled. A remake, however, would be better. No Talon, only Maul and TCW era from the series. Maybe Rebels.

I really liked maul, he was an interesting villain and I really like his arc in both the clone wars and rebels, even if I think the most interesting chunk has been left out between those two stories. His story in the clone was was interesting, he as a character is just pure gold in rebels. Savage could've been better. that nightsister stuff is pretty strange. He wasn't bad he just wasn't good. I think, after what's happened so far with rebels, that the best way to send maul of is not with a fight, but with a long talk. A peaceful solution. Maul, trapped in the darkness from a young age, gets to step into the light.

only in the cutscene when he fights finn in the main story, in that level (precursor to the phantom limb) he has actual dialogue.
