At launch there will probably be at least 20 maps (I'm assuming there is at least 2 maps per planet like the first game)

Fitting for a gun introduced to the EU by Battlefront to be introduced to the new canon by Battlefront 2. I played a couple matches of Battlefront last night, it was pretty enjoyable, except the second match our team had a really obvious cheater, and I learned that not only are cheaters somewhat common on PC, but there is no cheat protection in the game. I was thinking about getting the season pass but I might just hold off for now.

A lot of hackers also upload videos to youtube of themselves hacking but nope, still not banned. There have been cases where people who DON'T cheat get banned instead because they're using Bossk and get 100+ kills. Fucking incredible. I wouldn't worry about seeing hackers in the DLC. I don't remember ever seeing any hackers there at least. I'd be more worried about the fact that hardly anyone is playing the DLC except maybe during the weekend depending on the time of day.
Battlefront is going to be shown tomorrow on PS Live at 2:30PM PST Campaign footage pls
I still wonder if we're going to see maps and characters from Rebels and the Clone Wars TV Shows.
I still wonder if we're going to see maps and characters from Rebels and the Clone Wars TV Shows.
They would have to make them look photo realistic. How would that look? How could you, for example, make Ahsoka look real while still looking like her?
They would have to make them look photo realistic. How would that look? Obviously those models would be too low-quality for use in Battlefront but they could be a good starting point. They've done a good job bringing guns from either the shows or really early games (like Jedi Knight), and making them next-gen ready. I'm confident they could make a good-looking representation of any of these characters.

Isnt that machine gun blaster they keep showing with the white furniture the same one that the New Order Storm Troopers use? I guess not all the blasters are side locked.
Isnt that machine gun blaster they keep showing with the white furniture the same one that the New Order Storm Troopers use? My guess is the neutral weapons like the CR-2 will be usable regardless of era, while faction weapons will not.
So, Attack on Theed was rigged at E3 so the Clones can't win the first 2 phases because they wanted people to be able to see the whole map.
Do we know if bf2 will support listen servers or bots? Or is it all that matchmaking crap every developer seems to think is a good idea?
Do we know if bf2 will support listen servers or bots? Or is it all that matchmaking crap every developer seems to think is a good idea?
It will have dedicated servers, but no word on an actual server browser. It won't be Peer-2-Peer garbage like BF1 was. No AI online except for in fighter game modes, but there will be offline (but it also allows co-op) modes based on MP with AI.

I wonder if the Vehicle for the clones when you're attacking is the AT-TE [editline]14th June 2017[/editline] Also since they're pulling things that are not strictly canon from the films, I wonder if we'll see things like AT-PTs or the same tanks that were in the original Battlefronts, though I guess the tank that was in Rogue One is more likely.
I'm currently on a very thin fence about buying Star Wars: Battlefront II, the problem being I don't have a very good record at playing multiplayer games as of late unless they involve my IRL friends as well, so I'd stick up mainly for the single player content. Then again, this game looks promising enough to me, so I may as well made an exception

[editline]14th June 2017[/editline] Amazon Canada has Battlefront II standard edition listed at $49.96 The Deluxe Edition is $79.99 instead of $99.99
The small look at the plot described by the press who got a chance to try it gives me the impression we're going to defect. You learn about the existence of a mysterious post-death Emperor plan called "Operation Cinder" in a very early mission and when you ask for more information, you're basically told "that's classified" How much do you want to bet it's something horrible and apocalyptic and you're like 'oh no i'm a rebel now'
We already know she goes as far as the founding of the first order [editline]15th June 2017[/editline] Anyways Operation Cinder has already been described in the comics You can read all about it on the wiki. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Operation:_Cinder
I really hope she doesnt. Im so sick of stories where the main character is working for the bad guys, realizes this, and then joins the rebellion/resistance/underground.
I really hope she doesnt. Have they said anything else about space battles yet? Are we going to be getting the classic space battles with a blend of FPS and flight like in the old Battlefront 2? Stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSGk9mSLdK8

All we know so far is Fighter Squadron is returning, and there is a game mode where you can take down capital ships
