B2s especially, i know in EP3 they had the same sort of voice but they're one of the units that aren't supposed to as much of a cheap, expendable droid, they're better with a more serious voice.

The B2's sound like the B2s from Clone Wars which have a deep voice. They don't sound like the silly Ep3 ones. It is alpha, so even if it is the final game it might not be exactly like it is in the files. They're closer to their Republic Commando voice than anything.

The B1s that is, the other droids typically had a serious voice to them and never did entirely dumb stuff. But the B1s ever since being taken off one big control single like in TPM ended up developing personality quirks because they were made cheaply hence why they sucked, but in large numbers with them not saying anything made them intimidating. Clones get/should get - Jump Trooper,Commando,Arc Trooper CIS get/should get get - SBD,Commando Droid, Droideka.

I'm thinking the Special class for each faction will depend on the mode or the map.

Pretty silly that, but now I'm more hopeful.

You can hear a droid yell out Commando in the E3 Live gameplay.

ARC stands for Advanced Recon Commando. I expect it would typically refer to the other sort, but ARC troopers are still Commandos.

I'd imagine that the ARC role is either filled by the Specialist or Heavy for the Republic: both use elements of the ARC Trooper. I wouldn't be surprised if the Phase I ARC Trooper appears as either one of those.

I hope they come out with a soundtrack. Unrelated, I guess, but I think some of the original stuff from Battlefront is also quite good. IIRC, the licks that Griskey wrote for BF2015 are back in BF2.
