Uuuuugh just figured out the stuttering issues I've been having are due to memory leaks and not my old hard drive screwing the pooch I love JC3 but man the stuttering is just killing my desire to play it :(

Fixed most of the stutter for me.

what are people using to get the stutter? because I never get any stutter, runs real nice for me

Seems to completely random, my lower end LAN machine runs the game better than my significantly more powerful home desktop.

For roughly 15 - 20 minutes the game runs flawlessly but after that it stutters pretty often and seems to only get worse as time goes on.

Xeon E3-1230v3, 16GB, GTX 770, barely runs at 40fps on minimal settings.

Desktop: I7 2600K @ 4.4GHZ, 2 GTX 770s (No difference if SLI disabled), 16GB Ram > 40-15 FPS and gets worse over time running on high. LAN PC: AMD A10-7850K, GTX 960, 16GB Ram, 40-60FPS running on exact same settings, doesn't slow down and keeps going strong for hours. Hell I've even seen my friend's PS4 chug worse than my desktop playing it.

i5-3570 @ 3.4GHz, GTX970 OC, 12GB RAM, runs flawlessly, the framerate only drops a bit when a lot of stuff happens on screen BUT I have the game installed on an SSD, so if any of you have one you might want to try that. I highly suspect you need about 16 gigs of ram to deal with the memory leak

I'm going to run the game and watch my ram and see if RAM is the issue [editline]11th December 2015[/editline] ok this is deffo a memory leak it used 37% of 16GB when I booted it (which is like 7.0-7.7 gb ram with skype/steam/edge in the background flew around and it ended up going up to as high as 47% usage, and not really dropping as it rises, took about 20 minutes Next time I want to get serious about playing it I'll take out one of my 8gb sticks and test it and see if I have issues running it off a HDD / 1440p on ultra settings, windows 10 [editline]11th December 2015[/editline] basically, it seems like people may need more ram / shut down background programs for it it's actually pretty well optimized on the GPU side too for me, what a BUMMER

16 gigs, and I'm getting the stutter.

16GB ram and 8GB on R390x and I still get some stutter.

FX-8350, GTX 970, 12 GB of RAM, Windows 10 64 bit. Installed on a SATA 6.0 Gbps HDD. Highest settings besides AA (set at only SMAA) @ 1920x1080. [sp]Ignore the OS icon on my post, on my Macbook currently.[/sp] No stutter at all. Usually hovers around 60 FPS unless shit gets really crazy. I do wish the game had a borderless windowed mode though, and there is a lot of noticeable pop-in.

Grabbed a boat on Boom Island, and decided to follow the sun. So it kept me probably 30 minutes to go out of bounds, and giving me a warning sign. Here are some screenshots of my journey. I wish i could kept going on while out of bounds, but i should do it with a jet, much faster than a boat.

Like, they know you're their saviour so they let you do whatever. Pull someone out of a moving vehicle and they shout after you "BE CAREFUL SHIFTING, IT STICKS IN SECOND" or "WAIT, I FORGOT MY PURSE!" or, my favourite, the guy who goes "I LOVE YOU RICOOOooo..." as you drive off.

One of the tips said if you hold ctrl while in ragdoll mode Rico will stay in ragdoll forever. I tried it, Rico got stuck and I couldn't do anything. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Csk5mz8.jpg[/t]

I shot Di Ravello like 3 times with the M898 thing and ran to the cliffs and he clipped a rock and spiralled to his death. I was really surprised.

I tethered him to the ground and he crashed into one of the walls.

So is there a backstory for why the large island is mostly deserted ruins and heavily militarized compared to the smaller islands?
