Man, the enemies on anti-air guns are annoying when parachuting/wingsuiting around bases.

I've noticed enemies will always hit you if they just have a line of sight to you, doesn't matter if they're pointing their guns at you - I've been shot by tanks hanging from buildings and helicopters with their noses pointing at the ground, about to crash. It's kinda bullshit.

I was thinking of snatching this up for christmas but I've read on the steam reviews that the optimization is kinda ass, is it true, and if so has it gotten better? I've just received the game as an early Christmas present, and I've managed to get it to a playable state (30+ fps, occasional stuttering) on an FX-6300 and R9-270. I have two of the latter in Crossfire, but the game doesn't support it yet. I run medium settings at 720p, which is way less than what I would have expected, but I'm willing to give the devs some more time to patch the game up.

This game makes me realize how much you really need a damn compass or minimap

Man, you just can't have any fun destroying towns and bases from the air in this game. The second you try to hijack a enemy chopper you get one-shotted out the sky by a tank or another enemy chopper that appeared literally out of fucking nowhere. Also the reinforcement timer ticks by waaaaay tooo fucking fast (seriously, by the time you have finally faced your chopper towards the dude calling reinforcements, they're already there) so you don't even have a chance to stop those tanks and choppers from rolling in. And i knew there were some major FPS problems on consoles but goddamn i was not expecting it to plummet down to like 15fps with just medium amounts of shit going down That's just completely unacceptable on current-gen consoles how the fuck have they not fixed it yet

My biggest complaint is that helicopters are completely pointless. If it wasnt bad enough having 20 AA stations at every base, the helicopters convert to paper mâche when you get in them and blow up after 5 bullets from any gun. Other helicopters can aim straight up or down and shoot you from angles you can't possibly aim back at them from. Overall, helicopters went from being really fun in previous games to pointless as fuck in this one.

Have I fucked up? I activated a disk copy of Just Cause 3 on the website after I created an account. After I activated the Product I linked my steam account and can't find a way of playing the game. Edit: Nevermind the game code was behind the disk i'm a fucking idiot.

They want you to use the grapple and wingsuit instead

After failing all missions multiple times because some fucking asshole wanted all of them to be escort missions with the most retarded AI I've ever seen (escort refuses to move, shoot at each other, fly away because of the broken physics...), I am now stuck at that part where you need to escort a plane (yay another escort). The enemy jets are way too fast for me to catch them up and the it's impossible to take them all out because the missile targetting refuses to work. I've read it's due to the precision aim mod that causes it to not work but after disabling the said mod and restarting the game several times, it's still not working. So I'm stuck like a moron and people tell me to chill out and wait for a patch. I shouldn't have to wait for a patch ffs. Oh, and I love waiting 5 minutes everytime I launch the game or open the map because of that shitty online ranking no one gives a fuck about tries to connect (and fails eventually). I wish I could refund this game. I can't because I've played it more than 2 hours but I think we should be able to be refunded at any time when the game is such a broken and unplayable piece of crap. I'm so fucking mad right now. JC2 was absolutely wonderful and I had high hopes for this sequel but it just disappointed me on all points. It's fun blowing shit up for the 1st hour but then you realize it's the same thing for the whole game. Shame.

Rebooting the game fixed it but tracking only sometimes works
