release of this game is confusing as fuck. it went gold like two months ago, and since then loads of youtube streamers have had access to a finished version, and now loads of people are getting it early.

Nah man, Bolo was literally the best thing about the game's voice acting. It was so terrible, and yet so good.
I really wish they would just release it early. The day one patch is out already, parts of europe and the middle east are already selling it, they're allowing people to upload gameplay to youtube without spoilers, and it's Friday, what purpose could there be for holding it back for a Tuesday?

Probably going to get this since i had a blast on the jc2 demo. Yes, the demo, have 37 hours on the demo. Although that my be because i could mod it
The best part of the demo was how easy it was to trick it into giving you unlimited time. If memory serves right, avalanche software knew about it and were perfectly cool about it

If you meet its specs yes. It's not an easy game to run but it's not a bad port. This is what people who have review copies say but of course with the day one patch and driver support performance will increase even more.

Yes for vehicle, I doubt there's weapons customization because that's not really what the series is about.
there may be something like what we had in JC2, but it's not likely to be a mainstay of the game.
So there's an article talking about that pre release patch for just cause 3. In that list of patch notes, they mention fixing the random encounters.
So that confirms random encounters and that's awesome.

I haven't heard anything. All I know is I welcome it. JC2's world could have done with some extra stuff to do in between blowing shit up, so random stuff that you come across sounds like some extra variety

Is it worth while to get the XL version now?
Just Cause 2 was less than 5 gigabyes and now JC3 is 51gb with a 38gb download.
They really packed it full of content this time or filled it with uncompressed audio like titanfall
