Just Cause 2 was less than 5 gigabyes and now JC3 is 51gb with a 38gb download.
They really packed it full of content this time or filled it with uncompressed audio like titanfall
Sure as shit haven't seen that much gigs worth in content in the videos, so I'm guessing it's uncompressed audio etc
Watched Nerd3's video and stream highlights from TotalBiscuit andit makes me want to play the game so badly, but my laptop won't be able to run it for sure. It struggles to run Fallout 4, Just Cause 2 runs like absolute ass for no reason whatsoever and I think Just Cause 3 just won't be any good either. oh well I'll stick to watching YouTube videos I guess.

Maybe 45 gigabyte of it are one big texture with sprites for the explosion particle effects. That would explain why they looked so great in Mad Max.
Is there any information on how many locations are there in JC3? In JC2 there were 368 + some crates and destructible stuff outside of those locations.
Also I haven't seen any collectibles in videos (I didn't watch them all) so here's hope you only need to destroy stuff to complete locations which means you can simply use a helicopter and complete those locations quickly when aiming for 100%.

There are a few different types of collectibles, also there are liberation activities that require you to be on foot, so you wont be able to just carpet bomb a town to liberate it.

there are collectibles but from what I've seen they aren't tied to completing settlements, they are just scattered around the map.
How has nobody asked the most important question yet?

I want a multi lock-on bubble bazooka. Go big or go home.

I want the Air Propulsion Gun to make a return in some form considering how much fun it was in JC2 to send stuff flying from insanely high places into a well-placed abyss.
[sp]Bolo Santosi[/sp] easter eggs confirmed. :v:

for some odd reason, whenever I think of jc2 I get reminded of [sp]bolo saying "DA REEEPAAARS".[/sp]
it's very memorable.

So what, I was stuck for 6 minutes on a loading screen playing Fallout 4.
That was before the beta patch.
Edit: Oh shit, that's on the PS4.
This sorta puts my performance worries at ease, GTX 660, high settings, 36-50FPS apparently

I was worried my 780 Ti would chug on this game like it did in Fallout 4 in some areas.
*long ass loading video*
Jeez
:what:
Well I just might play on the easy difficulty to make sure I don't ever die
Is there an invincibility option/cheat in this game? A big problem I had with JC2 was that all the deaths felt cheap because of how godlike you are

Are we gonna have a reverse Arkham Knight situation? PC runs great, even on older systems while consoles have loads of problems?
Christ I hope not. I opted out for the ps4 version because I doubted my pc was good enough for it
Edit:
I don't think it's funny :saddowns:
I gathered my PC would've suffered so I went for the PS4 version, turns out my PC would've been able to run it fine at High settings :(. I'm worried now, because those laggy explosions remind me of blowing stuff up on a shitty computer in GMod 9.
looks like it's coming out in 9 hours for all timezones (Steam still says midnight PST instead of 4 PM PST for me though)

My pc should be fine and the game is £18.99 on CDkeys, so why not.

the only bad thing is having to wait till tomorrow -_-
