What real life vehicles are the new vehicles in the Tank DLC based off?

The Nyx is a fun little beast to play with. Really fun to have vehicles that kinda have to rely on each other for effective use.
so I was driving around with Nyx (sort of, was commander, commanding AI driver around) and I was turned out since wanted to get better view while moving. I'm having a slightly hard time seeing why they named this DLC Tank[B]s[/B]. Plural. There's [I]one[/I]. Jets had at least three reasonable warfare machines, and a JET UAV. Is it just me?

Also adding just more tanks would be a boring as fuck DLC, since all tanks in ARMA are pretty much the same. There's no noticeable difference in the T-140 and T-100's performance, whereas the Nyx and Rhino have more distinct, interesting roles.

Just noticed ranging for armoured vehicles also account for weapon-offset now, which leads to some really hilarious sideways shooting if you zero your cannon for 10 meters or less.

The gun camera does not change, it is fixed. The direction the gun shoots is what you can adjust. When you zero a weapon to any given distance, the shell or bullet simply leaves the barrel at an upwards angle. With this new horizontal zero, it also leaves it sideways. Which leads to this kind of shenanigans: [IMG]https://i.imgur.com/xiKOrPu.jpg[/IMG] Weird trajectories has always been noticeable, but usually only on extreme ranges with low velocity tracers where your shell/bullet would leave the barrel at a crazy angle, but now we got parallax-aiming, we got another dimension of weirdness to scratch our heads at. So the shot just leaves the barrel sideways? christ, sue me for thinking gunnery in this game would be robust, what the fuck.
Well it's a system that works just fine, as long as it's not at extreme close/long ranges or with extremely low velocity weapons. You really don't notice it much at all except with the 12.7mm silenced sniper from Marksmen and the GMGs.
You also gotta remember that you gotta make a concious effort to get to the level of fuckup I've done in those pics. With the Marshal, I had to zero in on the house right next to me, then turn the turret to the field and fire that way without rezeroing. The GMG, I had to set the sights to 1500 meters, which is frankly a ridiculous range to use that weapons system at.
