Since I want to be optimistic about this until my hopes and dreams are trampled into the dirt and the lack of programmers on the staff list is slightly alarming, Hyde is listed as support. Now, in most universes support does not mean that they'll just throw the project at them and go "here you go kids have fun".
17 minutes in. To paraphrase the Inti Creates guy, "Comcept handles the conceptual side of things, we handle the development side."
Comcept tells the development company what they want, the development company comes back with the actual game.
Holy shit, you're saying that Comcept isn't a pun on being Capcom, but it's one on being a concept/commission company?
Ideas guy.
Oh fuck a successor to megaman legends, sign me u-

that's armature, actually, does seem like comcept is helping but recore is way, way too high strung looking for such a small studio to be making it

its literally a team of ideas guys
a team of IDEAS GUYS
THAT'S ALL IT IS
Just, everything about MN9 looks boring, the level design looks bland, and it just isn't nearly as interesting as any of the classic Megaman game, let alone X.

Kamiya has weighed in again about MN9/Inafune:

Ok, this bothers me.
Because this was the selling point. Everybody was completely okay with this. Everybody wanted that. The point was that it was a complete Megaman ripoff.
Now that the game is failing to live up to expectations and all of the shit surrounding it everybody has retroactively decided that this is morally wrong.
[editline]8th July 2015[/editline]
What I'm asking for is a little consistency.
Everybody's acting like they only just now realised that it's a Megaman clone and that they were somehow deceived by the villainous Inafune.
Kamiya is being consistent, I don't think he has ever been positive about it or Inafune.
Well I'm not referring to Kamiya. I dunno if this counts as positive. I guess it isn't like in the west where "businessman" might as well be calling somebody evil incarnate. You don't call somebody a businessman because it's their job, you call them that because you don't like them. It's silly but if people realised that Inafune was just a producer and not a creator but still respected him they wouldn't be calling him a businessman.

Kamiya's point obviously remains remains though. I don't want to defend Inafune or his practices but I don't like some of how people have been reacting to this, like they'd been deceived or suddenly deciding to retcon things to fuel their outrage.
There were always some people who disliked the unoriginality of it. I still don't mind that it's a copy of MegaMan, and I think most people who didn't mind still don't mind.
The difference is now those who did mind aren't being drowned out by the outpouring of support for MN9 anymore.
Bump/update: 12 days left, $350,000 to go. They might not actually get funded!
It might go down to the wire in the last few days but Red Ash not being funed might be a good thing just because people arent getting played like a fiddle out of a stupid amount of cash now. At least with the case with Inafune. Bloodstained might very well end up being a repeat of Mighty Number 9.
Im interested in how this will play out, if anything.
It really sucks that this whole thing didn't go smoother because it might have provoked capcom to release that Legends 3 prototype edition the same way they're releasing the megaman legacy collection so close to MN9.
At this rate I feel like capcom's just going to take this as a lack of interest in legends 3 ever coming back even if it hits the minimum funding.
And this will be interpreted as "well i guess people don't want more legends" instead of "people don't trust inafune".
My biggest thing with a rebooted Legends 3 is: would they continue their old work or start from scratch? It'd kinda suck if it went the MOTHER 3 route.

I wonder how Inafune would react if the kickstarter fails.
I wonder how Inafune would react if the kickstarter fails.
Considering that Bloodstained was a success there's no way it won't be interpreted as them overestimating Legends's popularity.
What's funny is that Kenji Inafume is not the sole designer of Megaman.
Inafune also revealed that he wasn't responsible for the creation of Mega Man himself. "I'm often called the father of Mega Man, but actually, his design was already created when I joined Capcom," he explained. "My mentor [at Capcom], who was the designer of the original Mega Man, had a basic concept of what Mega Man was supposed to look like. So I only did half of the job in creating him. I didn't get to completely design a Mega Man [protagonist] from scratch until Zero (Mega Man X, SNES).
He was an illustrator who joined the Capcom team mid development, after Megaman's design was created, and he tweaked it a bit. He was not a programmer, he did not create the gameplay of Megaman.
So, when he left Capcom, he ripped off the gameplay of a game he only worked on as an illustrator, and ripped off a character he only partly created. There was an entire team behind the creation of Megaman and he's still regarded as the father of him when in reality he's hasn't done much to design the character himself and nothing to design the game. From what I've seen the only people who actually worked on a Megaman game on the current team is Kenji, two sound guys, and I'm not sure how much involvement Inti Creates has with the game but I'm assuming not much, so no wonder the gameplay in MN9 is bland.
He's a shrewd businessman who's banking on nostalgia to sell games, and now that the money's poured in he's looking to make more via franchising, yet his team still has yet to release the first game backed. He's doing a great job of PR but when these games get released and undoubtedly are rated mediocre (aside from shady review sites giving 10/10 for behind the scenes deals) I predict his whole Mighty No. 9 franchise is going to go down the drain, unless somehow the animated series is good. From the looks of the company they're outsourcing Red Ash to it might turn into another Sonic Boom.
Check the video I posted earlier. Comcept handles the conceptual side of things, Inti Creates handles all development on MN9.
To be fair, however, IIRC Inti Creates developed the MegaMan Zero games which came out pretty good.
Unlike with this project, where the developer Hyde has mostly made mobile games.
What do you guys think of this:

It's something the 100k Legends 3 Facebook group is doing.

They finally confirmed a ps4 version but it hasn't gained them much traction
judging by this tweet though it seems like we might at least get to see some development gameplay before the campaign is over

I love how their own wording makes the kickstarter gross, you are only getting the full experience for the higher tiers, the lower ones only get the Ground Zeroes sized portion that may not even be completed with all content.
If the funds even make it at all, which they are not on track to meet even remotely, let alone stretch goals

Inafune clearly thought that he'd get the same response that MN9 did, so presumed that the goals were gonna be reachable within the first few hours. Turns out, people aren't as interested in Legendsesque gameplay or this approach to kickstarter, so it (most likely will) fail.

Is it just me or does the Beck model forcefully complete the full walking animation, even when stopped.
They still need hundreds of thousands of dollars, but they're only making a few thousand each day, and they only have 9 days left.
I am pleasantly surprised that it looks like this won't get funded.

He does, but that's to be expected when they don't even have the movement stuff done.
