Save up for the bandos chestplate
Any thoughts on the dragon chainbody? Is it worth the 2.1 mil? I'm using a rune platebody but I've been saving up from treasure trails (surprisingly the easiest and fastest cash I've ever made) so I have 1.6 mil. I'm not a fan of degradable armor at all.
you should have more than enough cash to repair your barrows stuff if you sell or alchemize the crap you get from clue scrolls. use the armor repair stand in your house and it will cost less depending on your smithing level
Happy birthday RS :toot:
great kourend added to the world map: [t]http://i.imgur.com/Z1GVmRh.png[/t] [t]http://cdn.runescape.com/assets/img/external/oldschool/2016/osrs_world_map_jan_2016.png[/t]

So I just made a new 2007scape account last night Oh my god the grind is real
So I just made a new 2007scape account last night Oh my god the grind is real
Welcome, welcome to Grindscape. It's more laborious here.
No, this is a game about grinding.
http://services.runescape.com/m=news/bts-video--15th-birthday--runescape-classic?jptg=ia&jptv=community_news Rs classic opens next week. If you make a new character with your member account, you will have access to Rs classic indefinitely.
i remember when they said in 2011 they were PERMANENTLY shutting down new RSC logins... But honestly, there isnt much point in bothering, the game is ass after so long, it loses it's novelty pretty fast and after a few weeks it'll just be dead again
i remember when they said in 2011 they were PERMANENTLY shutting down new RSC logins...
Maybe jagex has since lost so many paying players, that they are now doing some serious butt.. i mean... boot licking to please remaining players.
i'm pretty sure i already have a permanent rsc login from the last time they did that but i have been wanting to play it again time to resub i guess
Ps. when you make a rs classic - character with member account, you can obtain rs classic - cape from varrock's cloth store in rs3.
Darkscape just got a combat overhaul: https://darkscape.runescape.com/news/2015/12/combat-update.html
I can't talk to the guide in classic. I didn't even have rose-tinted nostalgia glasses because I didn't start playing RS until like 2005 or 2006 something, but if I did have nostalgia, I'd imagine it would be gone now.
yeah classic is pretty garbage after you actually try playing it for 5 minutes I wouldn't bother
I hopped on to grab the cape and Jesus is it a shithole. Maybe I'm just too used to newfangled stuff, but I really don't get why anyone would play old games like that. It's like living in a cave when you can have a house.

haha wtf chrome no longer supports java, yet a few years ago chrome users were given a special item for the fact that they used chrome. jagex, you traitor!
The Runescape website is horribly mangled on Chrome for me.
yeah, so i gave rsc a try. this is not as good as the last time i played it back in 2010/2011. i was hoping i would be able to transfer stats over, and i would then just powerhouse through the quests, but it starts you out at level 1. i might have to be really bored to do this.
Started playing again on a whim. Last login was on the 20th of December 2013. It was a nice surprise to log on and not need to open my wallet to pay for membership again. There's lots of new interesting stuff to do. Evolution of combat isn't as shitty as i first thought it was either.
The feeling when you have made it to wave 28 / 37 in fight kiln on first attempt smoothly, notice that you forgot to bring additional melee weapon and you need to deal with 6 armored pricks at once. (which need to be either dealt with melee or weakened with melee) :suicide:
Just punch them
They can deal like 1,9k damage often, while they wear the armor. Yes, those hit fully through the prayers / curses. Kinda motivates to stay away from them. :v:
No I'm serious, I'm pretty sure that you can punch away their armour. 12:42 Just lure them like in this video, then just punch it, step away, wait until you're out of combat, repeat until the armour is gone.
Or I won't screw around, and just take each of them to the ground with chaotic maul. (Which i have, but forgot to take it to fight kiln.)
Yeah sure, I just posted this in case you were still in the fight kiln without a melee weapon. I suggest watching this guide before trying again.
Like i would have been stuck in wave 28 for 2,5 hours. I know already what i'm going to deal with in later waves, but the progress stopped to wave 28 due to human error. (forgetting maul to bank). Tonight i'm going to try again, make sure that i actually have everything with me this time, and get TokHaar-Kal-Mej.
So after a long time addiction to League of Legends I've decided to give this game a proper spin again after many years. Last time I played was just when Oldschool was released, got 99 cooking in a week and then I quit again. I'm planning on playing RS3, my account is somewhat decent. It has 81 firemaking, 50 thieving a standard combat level etc. But since the long break is there anything major I should be aware of? Is there any video covering some stuff or should I just be playing the game and everything will eventually figure out itself? It seems that the game has heavily changed into a lot more combat based gameplay, perhaps I'm wrong. I just always found myself as a skiller rather than a combat type of player. Am I right or wrong in this, or does the game offer a lot more things to speed up skilling or make it more interesting? Especially agility, because holy shit looping those courses would make my finger fall off.
Try to complete plague's end asap, it unlocks one of the best skilling areas in the game. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Plague's_End
[t]http://i.imgur.com/w3wkxu7.png[/t] O...k. See you in some time :v: [editline]13th January 2016[/editline] I can't even remember which quests I have nailed down yet, I am always used to rushing the monkey island quest as soon as possible along with the arena quest to get some basic combat stats. It also gives a good skilling path I believe, but that was long ago. I think I've done it on this account as well so I have the tree teleportation along with having amulets in my home. I'll see once I get access to my account, kinda fucked up my security questions and now awaiting a response from Jagex. :suicide:
All the NMZ hosting bots got owned so there's like 600 people stood here and only 3 guys hosting + they've all bumped their prices up because they're in demand I just wanna imbue my slayer helm :~( [editline]13th January 2016[/editline] Alright my mates just lent me 3m to buy a veracs skirt and helm, time to try and get a fire cape with these stats
Shitty. I was just about to start getting points for helm imbue as well
