Another weekend gone. Every time I see NXT, I can't help but be blown away by it. I feel kind of bad that you OSRS people don't get to enjoy its splendour. Give yourself a pat on the back, Dark. You bloody earned it.
The only thing I care about in RS3 at this point is the direction the main story is going.
Anyone that wants to, pretty please add me. I'm about to spend all day smelting. Wouldn't mind chatting. IGN: Punjon
Keylogger. They can't track PIN setting or entering, since the PIN is set and entered by clicking randomly changing buttons.
Aw that kinda blows I was really hoping you could quickly just enter in PINs by typing them in with the keypad because clicking them in is so tedious
I just noticed I have a thieving level of 2 in old school and I'm not a member.
This NXT client is looking pretty good. Everything is so smooth. Except some of the texture caching.
What do you mean by texture caching? Are you talking about the way objects are white if they happen to load before their respective textures?
What do you mean by texture caching? Was spooked when I opened my bank for the first time and there were no items, but then icons started popping in.
:snip:
Gonna do monkey madness now, wish me luck
nope. there's not enough of us playing/online at the same time to make one worth it really
I think it's worth having just for the occasional times people are on at the same time. [editline]24th March 2016[/editline] Do any of you know where I can get sweet deals on membership?
yeah but u dont get the best cape from just starting it legends cape is worth
or you could just buy an obby cape
or you could just buy an obby cape
Earning > buying
An obby cape has better stats, though ??
looks > stats
anyone planning on playing the new seasonal deadman mode tomorrow? i'm kinda excited, deadman really needed a finite mode because the current deadman servers are a mess planning on getting two mates on and going hard at it, should be a lot of fun [editline]25th March 2016[/editline] facepunch dmm clan could be a good idea if there's enough people here playing, safety in numbers
I'm such a retard. I'm trying to get 55 magic on my os ironman, and I decided to do it by splashing curse instead of splashing fire strike because its much cheaper and "quicker". Went great until I got RSI halfway through the splashing.
did the same thing never again
Found the best way to make bank, ever. The bugs in the security stronghold are level 39 and drop rune shields and scimitars, adaminte and mithril ores, and mithiril full helms. Almost to a million GP from selling all their crap.
you only had to start legends
ye i know but i wanted to do it, the monkey fuck is the other quest (last part of RFD)
I've been grinding Slayer for 65 forever. Need to kill a Dust Devil for an elite cluescroll I got while fishing a while back. Can't imagine what hell the road to 99 Slayer must be
So like a year ago I started playing OSRS. I was unemployed at the time so I had a lot of free time - and I spent more time grinding hunting then I care to admit. I had a few run-ins with randoms, people calling me a botter, etc, because I tend to multitask a lot and I wasn't always paying the closest attention. I even made a Reddit post after two such incidents, as I was worried it would have a negative impact on my account. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/3efy19/sitting_here_hunting_chins_for_an_hour_and_a_half Anyways.. I stopped playing after a while. I got burnt out of grinding for a decent while. I don't remember how long it was exactly, but it was long enough for me to get bored. I stopped playing. About two/three weeks ago, I decided to start playing again. I tried logging into my account to find I had been banned for botting. I was pretty frustrated. I have never botted and never intend to. I tweeted a Jagex mod on Twitter, to no avail. All they told me was to refer to their FAQ, which clearly states that all permanent bans are irreversible (or something similar). Even when looking in the UCP on Runescape's site, it very clearly stated that I had been banned permanently and it was unappealable. Here is a screenshot of it in my ban history. http://i.imgur.com/UKwBmD8.png http://i.imgur.com/0z5d5xX.png Today, I randomly tried logging in - and to my surprise, it worked. I wasn't banned. I was forced to "recover" my account, though, so it seems they investigated and determined that my account was likely stolen and unbanned me. I'm not sure if they happened to investigate based on my earlier tweet, or what caused it.. it's possible, though. I did include my username in the tweet. My account is no longer on the high scores unfortunately, though. LootingYou was my name - just tried searching. I just wanted to share this with all of you so that if any of you have gone through a similar experience and have been banned incorrectly, there is at least some hope. I made a new account and have been playing that the past two weeks. I've already got it decently funded and it's hunting is getting up into the 60's. I have a membership on that account, too. Not too sure what to do with it now - I wish I could transfer the membership back over to my main account. Oh well! Upon logging in I also notice that I'm missing quite a bit of money, as well as my armour and weapons. Looks like I'm going to be back out there and hunting!
Achieved 2000 total milestone, with 70 runecrafting. Now all my skills are 70 or higher. Now to get last quest requirements

They were genuine, just a bit embarrassing in retrospect because they revealed how much of my childhood was invested in that game
I got permanently muted around 6-7 years ago because me and my friends would swear like sailors with each other while online. Then one day I logged in after about 9 years and found my perma-mute lifted, which was pretty cool.
I just found about OSBuddy last night and my God this is the best thing ever!
