if you don't mind competing with the bots and have the combat level for it you could kill mature grotworms in their cave south of Falador and sell/high alchemize the weapons and armor they drop. keep the rune ore to sell though
if not then you should post your stats so we can see what you can do

I tend to sit in there whenever I'm online but not once have I seen another player in it.
I hate to bump this, but I'm a bit of a cheapskate and I was wondering if any private servers exist that are quite similar to Jagex or 2007 runescape, do these exist?
arent private servers considered warez?
anyway, should i buy a month on 22nd? how many quests have been added after that pirate one with requirement of dungeoneering?
Are they warez? They're everywhere and I haven't seen jagex shutting them down, unless they just don't care

20 quests or so, 3 or so of which was revamped (Death Plateau, Wolf Whistle, Rune Mysteries) some replaced former quests such as Prince Ali Rescue with Stolen Hearts, though some of the revamped quests were so heavily revamped that they affected canon or was extensively changed that they could possibly be seen as quests in their own right. (Rune Mysteries for a bit of the former, What's Mine is Yours is an example of the latter due to replacing Doric's Quest)
Some of the newer quests was episodic in nature; but it seems to only be for the Signiture Heroes, Arianne for Rune Mysteries>Rune Memories and Ozan for Stolen Hearts>Diamond in the Rough [sp]unfortunately it fucks the canon/timeline slightly due to the Devourer making a formal appearance like 3 quests earlier than anticipated[/sp]
Apparently they're planning for a Sir Owen quest double bill in the future involving Black Knight Fortress quest, however im unsure how that would work now since the game is [sp]Officially in the 6th Age[/sp], also you could probably avoid doing the God Missionaries update, unless you want to discover that [sp]Guthix is dead[/sp] though that spoiler might be further emphasized as soon as the Battle of Lumbridge expands on...and Divination is released.
EDIT: Try to avoid doing The World Wakes and try to save it after you complete Ritual of the Mahjarrat, otherwise story elements may be lost or spoiled, however the music was really great..my feels!
Summarizing Quests: Deadliest Catch is useful for adding Deposit Boxes around the world at fixed locations such as the Teak Trees on Ape Atoll, Branches of Darkmeyer unlocks a Whole, new city and a Medallion that can teleport to said city, Burgh De Rott, Barrows, the Meiyerditch Dungeon and the Myreque Hideout in Meiyerditch. Elder Kiln if you want an Obsidian Ring that can teleport to a few places inside TzHaar and gives a 10% damage bonus against them, Brink of Extinction if you want Craftable specialized Obsidian Armor which is level 60 Hybrid Gear however when fighting against TzHaar monsters then it's actually something in the realm of 80 with a Defence damage bonus (could be nice for Cauldron or Fight Caves).
Heck, Bringing Home the Bacon is no slouch either once they upgrade the pigs after the next game update; word is that the level 4X pigs will become about 30 min familiars and the level 82 Pigs will be about 50 mins, the Pack Pig's maximum carrying space no longer being a Tortoise' but between it and a Yak (somewhere like 24) and the Prayer Pig can heal 1/4th of its current prayer regen every 2 mins of its life...so it may heal 220 Prayer if it's the level 84 version. Best of all is that all pigs costs about 14 shards, a gold charm and a specific Pigs' tooth...however you need Construction and Crafting to upgrade the Machine and the Summoning level to actually make the pouches, also the Pig Teeth are uncommon drops...
Also Armor was changed; Barrows armor is Defence classed and Bandos is Power Class, Fremminik and Barbarian assault Armors are Power Class too; basically a defence classed armor has slightly higher defence compared to Power class and more LP bonuses whilst the Power Class armors has less health and defence but with a few strength bonuses, a Hybrid set is a balanced defence but no power...and possibly less LP bonuses in comparison to both.
Armor bonuses are apparently linear but curved as they get higher, cheap way for armor is the level 85 Port armors, however you need skills upto about 90 to make the Superior versions if you want to avoid them crumbling, they're non-tradable but slightly powerful than the inferior tradable ones, also fletching can make Scrimshaws, also made at player owned ports.
I just realized they nerfed void knight armor and I'm pretty pissed off about it

Well, he was gone for ages...don't think EoC was even released when Clockwork Syringe was about, plus the whole armor change after EoC came out flipped some things upside down, sure Bandos would be used for Strength now like they did back then, but people usually wore Barrows for the Defence or Set Effects, Bandos was literally the same but with a Str bonus, where as now Barrows is totally a defence armor whilst Bandos has less defence...can't use Barrows specs with Combat techs though.
Plus some things completely changed type, like Crystal Shields being Mage-typed, and stuff like Defenders losing most of their value when there's either Bandos Warshield or the DFS for melee users.
The best things he has might not be the best at their primary thing anymore, i was just easing him into what's what now.
im hooked again :D
got 200 combat yesterday, 92 slayer just now and im slowly working on 99 theif through pyramid since i figured out how to be fast at it. currently 94. doubt ill be maxed by the end of the year but im getting closer and closer
Jagex customer support is the worst thing I have ever seen, it's atrocious. Yes, they're a F2P game but when I've sent them a series of e-mails since late january regarding a few problems I'm having with the Jag Guardian not allowing me to access my account...
Does anyone have any tips on how to get through the system? I have all the transaction id's from membership purchases going back to 2010 and a ton of other personal information.
Just got some phishing mail about RuneScape 1st person mode.
I decided to go to the link to see how creative they were.
After entering fake info they asked for bank pin to confirm you are the owner of the account, I almost laughed.

One thing you have to be sure about though is how exactly did they get your email in the first place, was it a sporadic attack? did they even message you by name? Even if you gave fake info to the, they might have had spyware on the site, making sure that even if they don't get your account, they might get your credit card numbers or email addresses.
In other note, I'm 3 levels until 2.4k total, planning to reach it before Divination comes out, though im not a fan of Dungeoneering, so don't hold me to that...and combat has been a bit slow recently..was thinking of milking Thieving perhaps, but im trying to avoid getting more 99's just incase divination happens to have skilling activities for other skills, basically i don't want the xp to be wasted when i could passively gain xp whilst enjoying the early levels of Divination. :/

Yes! After about 6 months and a series of e-mails to Jagex I finally retrieved my main account. I was locked out from Jag Guard and the e-mail attached to it was a very old one which I no longer had access to.
I can finally return, just in time for the Rs3 update.

I got a few questions regarding skilling. Is LRC still fastest way from 80-99? And did they do anything with the Agility skill to speed it up?

When did you last play? Because they upped Dorgesh from about 60 to around 80 and made advanced versions of Barbarian and Gnome for 85/90+, LRC is probably still fast, though they did add in a granite buyer at the Quarry, but you need the entirety of the desert diary done to access him he apparently buys the granite for about 20% GE value.
Think all that im doing now is getting my penguins and whatever out the way before RS3 hits and something bad happens that probably might keep me away from weeklies/dailies.
I use abbreviations for my bookmarks and it took me longer then it should have to find RS, then I noticed they had a new icon thing.
The new music is lovely, I like it a whole lot.
I feel like the new UI is p. dodgy but it's still something I can get used to and stuff.
It's going to take a fair bit of tweaking, though.
I can't wait for Zaros to show up!
It's rather annoying how its the worst gods we're having right now.
