Runescape V8 - I don't know, I just wanted a runescape thread that wasn't about the 2007 version

Are karambwans actively bought and sold? If so I'll do the quests needed so I can start fishing them, but otherwise I'd rather do something else.

theres probably better money makers though
Naw in RS3
I just completed Underground Pass without falling into the abyss. I am so glad I trained my agility beforehand.
I finally completed Rocking Out, and i liked its humor. I didn't like, however, the obvious graphical differences between characters like Young Ralph and the Customs Officers, who were updated to be RS3 while Young Ralph was still RSHD. I don't really like the newest graphics, i mean they're okay, but i prefered RSHD stuff when things weren't so hyper detailed and stylized.

it's not over until you can do mourning's end part 2 without falling

No, they're not worth fishing in RS3.
Fishing for money isn't worth it in RS3.

I don't get the hate for that quest tbh, sure it's tedious but it's also all in one location and pretty straight forward with a guide. There are far more annoying quests in the game, like rag and bone man, monkey madness 2, and legends quest.

It's annoying because the hand-hold agility part is the worst part of any quest

I failed it maybe 10 times and had 65 agility at the time, it wasn't that bad.
Do we still have that friends chat? If so what's the name, I can't seem to find it.

My luck ran out after Underground Pass. Fell down twice in Regicide!
70 agility, by the way.

Isn't it Knight Jake?
mage training arena has to be one of the most not-fun things in any game ever
people botted lumby yews?
what a terrible spot, I thought it was always varrock palace or edgeville
Even varrock palace only has 2.
But for there to be absolutely not a single bot at lummy Yews, when there were hordes of them last week, is weird.
J Mod probably went there and cleaned them all out.
Tips to get back into oldschool RS? I played it A LOT from like 2002-2006 and was like lvl 86 combatlevel(?). I cant get back the account unfortunately due to not remembering any passwords, Jagex dont like that.
OSRS is it's own thing now. Your old account from those days has since been integrated into RS3.
Basically you'd have to start anew in OSRS whether you could recall your account info. I guess there's no harm in making a new account in your case.
Membership is pretty much a necessity, given its where the good content is at too. Quickrun Waterfall quest to get your combat level boosted, and just do your thing until you get your stats back in motion.
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
also membership isnt 5bux like it used to be back then; its upwards of 10bux now. Once you get some good GP rollin in you can buy membership through bonds using ingame moni
also a substantial difference to take note of is that there is now a Grand Exchange in northwest Varrock. It's basically the Ebay of runescape where trading and buying is a lot simpler. its available on F2P or P2P worlds
if you aren't interested in RS3 you should definitely make a new account
there is no way to know what sort of unauthorized activity (through email/password leaks) may have gone on with your account during your absence
it would suck to get banned for something you didn't do after starting up again

The grand exchange was there when I quit, if its that auction house sort of thingy.
[editline]13th July 2016[/editline]
So I made a new account. Anyone willing to help me save some time and get me a steelpick and axe or something? Cheers.

Add me (and post yours) - Cree8iveS
I'd love to help out and have someone to chat with in game!
I purchased the extended Skeletal Wyvern task thingy from Nieve the other day. Skeletal Wyvern task amount went from 15 to 60. :joy:

I'm always in Knight Jake's FC, but I never see anyone in there. Maybe I just play weird hours idk.

poor guy
So, I've been playing OSRS (as an Ironwoman, since I hate myself :dog:.) Having to grind for a Rune Scimmy instead of just buying one was actually kinda fun, now most rare drops matter instead of just going 'Oh this is a good alchable/Oh I can sell this'.

yo nigga you playin runescape now
I swear the veins in motherlode mine disappear the instant I alt-tab every damned time.
Are there ways better than the Motherlode Mine to get 70 mining?
Are there ways better than the Motherlode Mine to get 70 mining?
Powermining, but that's so much more intensive. You can powermine iron for a realistic rate of ~32000-36000 per hour (outside Piscatoris); there's also granite, which is supposed to be ~43,000/hr at ~65. But it sucks ass. Trust me. Its hell on the wrist
The MLM is just so much more lenient and I recommend it over powermining, tbh
All the ores you get are worth money if not experience and such for later use

Another way is with Ardougne cloak monastery teleport and dueling rings. Tele to the monastery, mine the iron, tele to castle wars and bank, repeat. I was only getting like 33k an hour like that though, it isn't really worth it.
Motherlode is the way to go.

3 tick granite mining is like 100K+ EXP / hour.
