My bad, I thought they were F2P. I guess Gold Amulets are decent, not as much money as gold bracelets but they're more XP. I'm smithing gold bracelets at the Edgeville furnace(Trying to get my crafting up and I'm cheap) and I'm creating roughly 1200 bracelets per hour. Not sure if the Edgeville furnace is F2P or not since in RS3 it required the Varrock armour.
You can now use the Edgeville furnace without completing the needed diaries, but free players still can't use it regardless.
nearing 73 agility and i still don't have full graceful... wish i didn't hate barbarian assault so much
Barbarian Assault would be fine if it had more players, and rewards other than the fighter torso. Minigame reward revamp update, let's go!
Penance gloves are the best-in-slot gloves for weight reduction. If you don't need the set effect of full graceful, you should be using penance gloves instead.

If you need pure weight reduction you'll use full graceful. If you need a mix of melee and weight reeuction you'll just use graceful body and legs and have barrows gloves in that slot and just use protection prayers

Penance gloves contribute to 1.5 kg of that advantage. The set effect for full graceful replenishes run energy 30% faster, so the effect is only useful if you're not constantly running, as you cannot replenish run energy while running. I don't have penance gloves or spottier cape myself, so I can't speak from my own experiences on when you would prefer full graceful or max weight reduction.
Dammit, I didn't know you can't sell "Members objects" once your membership expires. Now I'm running around carrying all of my gear for Barrows (because my bank is "full") while reselling chaos rune packs til I get enough for a bond. (2.4m to go) This is what I get for stopping due to laziness a couple of months ago lol :vs:
Barbarian Assault would be fine if it had more players, and rewards other than the fighter torso. runecrafting is probably the skill that most makes me want to die. It's so goddamn boring to skill, but the money is too good.
Lorewise, weren't runes rare and limited before the art of runecrafting was discovered? [sp]The stone of Jas made the first batch of runes, if I remember right.[/sp]
Lorewise, weren't runes rare and limited before the art of runecrafting was discovered? They were abundant at first, but then they started decreasing during the 3rd age (?).
Afaik, Guthix was the one to actually create runes.
Lorewise, weren't runes rare and limited before the art of runecrafting was discovered? [sp]The stone of Jas made the first batch of runes, if I remember right.[/sp]
Think that might have been semi-retconned now. Guthix created runes, but V actually came into contact with the Stone of Jas which he shared the information/discovery with the Fremminik that became the Lunar Clan. they presumably were a faction of humans who formed an allegiance with the Elves shortly before the God Wars caused Seren to retreat and hide the elves' region. The Blood altar presumably sunk underground due to Drakan turning the Hallowlands into swamps, and the Death Altar was probably sealed up by the temple of light. Pre-Retcon, they attributed the destruction of altars due to barbarian attacks and even the destruction of the old tower by Zamorakians. but post retcon, Runecrafting was always discovered, just that it's replacement quests; Rune Mysteries/Rune Memories were more about the backstory into how they managed to create a spell that could be anchored to Acheron. Latter quest did mention something about a Teleportation Matrix key from a demon which killed the old Wizard Tower wizards because the ritual was interrupted but inevitably completed. The modern Wizards cited it as Zamorakians destroying it as Saradominist propaganda and the descendants of one of the Wizards were seeking revenge. but the ghosts of the old Wizards were all actually for the discovery of it. pretty sure those Wizards' spirits/consciousness fused and became anchored inside the Abyss and the stealth Zamorakian mage got pulled inside.
Just realized that they opened up Runescape Classic for the whole year. I've played it before during previous openings, but I wouldn't mind actually playing Classic for a bit. It has a nice simple charm to it.
a few days of barely even playing... just a half hour of puro puro every morning and farm runs scattered throughout the day
I'm F2P at the moment, level 30 - what would be the best way to make money? My highest skill is probably fishing at 42 other than that it's just combat really, never really trained the other skills. I haven't logged on in about 2 years.
I've been doing this for roughly 3 days now (during idle time at work, I haven't touched RS at home yet :v: ) and now I'm just saving up a little extra so I can go back to running Barrows right after renewing. Jesus christ, to think I started with only 80k. I don't even know how I had the patience to keep doing this lol.

First ever Barrows item on my 5th run, Guthan's helm. Not bad at all!
Old School or Runescape 3?
Runescape 3
Runescape 3
Oh wow, making money as F2P in Runescape 3 isn't really worth it. You'll be making at most, with the best methods for lower level players 100-250K GP/hour. You're better off playing Old School Runescape as F2P and swap the money over to RS3 until you can get membership. F2P is in a very weird state at the moment, especially on RS3.
So what would be the best way to do so on Old School? [editline]4th August 2016[/editline] Would I be better off just buying a membership?
It's much easier to make money and skill up when you have members. If you just buy the basic $10 membership, you can easily make enough to get a bond+more if you put time into doing so.

Burying bones in the catacombs restores prayer... I had no idea. That's awesome for fire giants tasks if you have bonecrusher.
What would be the best way of going about this with the skills/level I have?
Get 50 hunter (very easy, although you highish need thieving to prevent the defenders from stealing them from you) and camp one of the four static spawns of eclectic implings at puro puro, you can easily make 800k+ an hour. With higher hunter it's even better.
What would be the best way of going about this with the skills/level I have?
http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making_guide There are a few methods on there which have little to no requirements as long as you have membership. Cleaning Herbs is something I did way back in the day and according to the GE prices it's still very profitable with little requirement. I'd also recommend just playing the game and do whatever you want, try to find a clan on the forums to join. Thankfully there are a lot of community oriented clans who accept anyone and help new players. If you want to play Old School without membership I would recommend making gold amulets, it's decent money and also pretty good(and free!) crafting experience. If you want to play Old School with membership I would recommend making Steel Bars through the Blast Furnace. The requirement to do so is 30 Smithing, but you can get 29 Smithing through the quest The Knight's Sword, for the last level I would recommend crafting Iron Knives from Iron Bars. I would recommend always to make money doing something that forwards you account in some way, if you don't get experience it's not really worth it imo unless it something like Zulrah which is ridiculous gp/hr. Otherwise you're better off crafting Nature Runes or something. If you want to play the game again for nostalgia, Old School is the way to go. Runescape 3 is mostly a shadow of what it once was.

Does membership on your account give you membership on Old School and RS3?

I can one up you on that, I got a d-chain first kill
yeah well my d chain is shinier than yours
