Kinda bummed that Silske's Endgame is going to be locked behind so much high end content for a major Lore event, compared to the World Wakes only had "recommended" quest requirements.
got a sara cloak from a clue scroll

Finally got to 65 atk. Time to grind to 70. Man the exp is so slow though
Finally got to 65 atk. Time to grind to 70. Man the exp is so slow though
It gets way worse in the 70's and 80's. Agility is the first 99 for me, so it's even worse.
Finally got to 65 atk. Time to grind to 70. Man the exp is so slow though
train strength first so you hit harder so you get more exp for other styles
Don't have mems on either my main or ironman, but I feel like possibly getting back. Not sure what to go back on tho. Main is around 1600 total with quest cape and the ironman is pretty new, working towards barrows gloves. What do you guys think?
I wanted to do some clue scrolls, but uhh. Being a tree is cool too I suppose.
Finally got to 65 atk. Time to grind to 70. Man the exp is so slow though
you can't train strength directly with a whip btw so don't rush for 70 attack if that's your plan assuming you're playing 07
someone powercutting trees next to me (osrs) has some weird plume of smoke animation appearing every now and then. what does that mean? [editline]24th December 2016[/editline] it was his axe, charged with a smouldering stone
is the economy still at the point where willow logs are worth like a 3rd of normal logs?
is the economy still at the point where willow logs are worth like a 3rd of normal logs?
Even maple/yew logs are basically worthless. Magics are the only log worth anything now iirc.
train strength first so you hit harder so you get more exp for other styles
To be honest I'm glad Im doing attack first. I'm much more accurate even though I don't hit as high.
What's your strength at? Strength is always the stronger stat tbh, especially when you're training because it probably has low enough defense that additional attack is negligible. Did some math based on this: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?317,318,712,65587452 And say you wore only dscim, fury, and berserker(i). The first odds of hitting are training atk at level 70 atk, and the second is the odds of hitting training str at level 60 atk.
Hit chance: 0.996966 Hit chance: 0.996309
So I would again suggest training strength up first.

I always got strength 10 levels higher than any other combat stat, so defense/attack would be 60 while str was 70, etc.
is the economy still at the point where willow logs are worth like a 3rd of normal logs?
Nothing to do with the economy. Willow logs are practically useless, except for a short period of fletching/firemaking before you transition to maple logs or Wintertodt. Willow logs are also in a huge surplus because of the amount of people woodcutting them, since they're pretty good XP until you do teaks or redwoods. Normal logs however are a pain to obtain, not many people woodcut them and they are in demand. If normal logs were as easy to obtain as willow, they would also be worthless.
So I can't figure out if I should be pissed or beyond overjoyed. I've been busting my ass killing steel dragons for elite clues, so I have a hard clue from hell hounds that I keep in my inventory/bank to eliminate them from the drop table yeah, since you can get both from steels. So here I am 6 elite scrolls in and I've made maybe 800k and the festive boxes have been absolute garbage to me too. Anyway I decide fuck it, lets see where this hard scroll goes I'm near the clue for it anyway. Third age ranger top. Fucking, 1 hard scroll > 6 elite scrolls.
yeah don't bother with elites and masters it isn't worth the time it takes
I'm currently at 67-61-55
Yeah if I where you I'd go 70 str, then 70 atk, then whip to 70 def then probably dharoks NMZ or controlled whip slayer.
I just tried out OSBuddy Pro and I feel so dirty walking around in Puro-Puro :pudge:
fuck everything about gaining favor for lovakengj. holy shit.
TIL you gain smithing xp from smelting ore into bars. Why am I so dumb.

You're collecting the wrong stuff tbh. Money's in full herbs and then half mahogany logs. The others mostly either provide almost no profit or negative profit.
You're collecting the wrong stuff tbh. Money's in full herbs and then half mahogany logs. The others mostly either provide almost no profit or negative profit.
Yeah, I figured that out just then, lol. I only recently gained access to Miscellania so...
You're collecting the wrong stuff tbh. Money's in full herbs and then half mahogany logs. The others mostly either provide almost no profit or negative profit.
I thought it was better to have full herbs and half Maples, just because it's easier for Nests to pile up from them than from hardwood trees. making it easier to profit from the increased nests and seeds. i mean even now, Mahogany logs are 585gp each. you get 1 nest per 100 maples/350 Mahogs, but since it's half, the most hardwood you'll get in a day is 102 Mahogany (vs 204) whereas Maples is 892 Maple logs and 8 nests. though i run on the full herb/half maples, so i get 61 herbs and 446 Maples+4 nests. another issue is maintaining the kingdom each day, or else each passing day is depleting the effectiveness of gathering. 1 day of -1 probably isn't much, but when it stacks up from -1 to -40, a lot of money is being burnt, i usually at least check once a week. Maples will probably be somewhat cushy when they eventually add in Augmentable Tinderboxes, assuming that it leaves TAPP, they'll probably be some value in training firemaking lazily whilst grinding for Bernie and getting clues. (honestly, other than the burning ability, i don't see why you can't augment Adze, skills like cooking has bi-skill usage like chopping mushrooms counts for both the Cooking and Herblore pets. Firemaking has nothing other than making lines, bonfires or curly vines, making Bernie one of the rarer skiller pets) or with the excess maples, you could just cut them into shorts in Prifddinas w/crystal knives for Flo+dismantle fodder for random stuff like Rod-o-matics for Eastern skilling. Yeah but it's a huge gamble on what you get from nests so you could either make bank or loose big since maples are otherwise unable to profit currently last I checked. I'm unsure if full herbs can offset the loss from maples if nests fuck you over, too much probability to work out for me. If maples come back to being worth something then I'd be down to put half in maples again. Though the mahogany logs do make some legit dents in my construction xp costs. less nests from hardwood, but it's a safe investment. I rely on the throne to be a safe investment to keep me in pocket money for questing and light skilling though, so I suppose it's all relative to your play style.
How do you guys play RS? [t]http://i.imgur.com/7lI3bzk.jpg[/t]
